It really grinds my gears when I find songs from tiktok on YouTube and all I see in the comments section is people looking down on people who came from tiktok đ¤¨
Like....why tf are you so mad?! đSince when do you get to gatekeep music that you didnât even make???
What? You hate it that you canât be âspecialâ or âdifferentâ because people are listening to the same music you do? đ

Letâs talk about white privilege.Â
I know this is different from what I normally put on here, but this is something that needs to be addressed. I am biracialâhalf white and half Asianâthough because of my appearance, I am hardly ever labeled as white. As someone who is not white passing despite being white, while I experience other forms of privilege, I do not often experience white privilege and have been on the receiving end of hate and racism more times than I can count even when living in what is supposed to be a more sheltered area. For those of you who might comment that you are tired of seeing politics in art, let me remind you that:Â
1) I am tired of being discriminated against just because of my race. I am tired of being called slurs, I am tired of people pulling their eyes back to mock my heritage, and I am tired of stereotypes that plague the Asian community stemming from ignorance and hate. These examples just barely scratch the surface.
2) art has always been tied to politics somehow, and there have been countless instances where itâs been used to make political statements. This is no different.Â
3) racism is a humanitarian issue that has been radicalized for political gain, and itâs something that everyone should be actively aware of regardless of your race.Â
If you have questions, notes, critiques, etc, comments will always be open as well as DMs so long as you are respectful. This is coming from my viewpoint as well as a few other POC creators and a number of resources, the links of which I can share through DMs if anyoneâs interested in taking a read. I have been quieter on matters for my main feed due to safety concerns as a minor, but Iâve had enough at this point. What happened yesterday was unacceptable and the most blatant example of white privilege I have probably seen in my lifetime. Itâs time to speak up.
These fucking animals are literally recreating the murder of George Floyd!!! The white privilege is truly astounding. The audacity of these domestic terrorists to storm into the capitol building to stage a coup while claiming theyâre patriotic is unbelievable. They are undermining the very foundation of democracy all because theyâre too red in the face to admit defeat.
I DONT EVER WANNA HEAR ABOUT BLM BEING VIOLENT OR A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION!!!!
THIS HERE FOLKS IS WHAT TERRORISM LOOKS LIKE!!!!!!
On June the 14th the constitutional court in Belgium stated that prohibition of wearing religious signs in an establishment of higher education does not constitute a violation of freedom of religion nor a violation of the right to human dignity which includes the right to education. This declaration meant that Hijab-wearing women donât have the right to get higher education. Some will, unfortunately, give up on their dreams and some will be forced to remove the hijab to get an education. âI was in a school establishment where wearing a hijab was forbidden. Therefore, every morning, when I go to school, I had to take it off and put it in my bag. I had the feeling that I was enduring microaggressions from a system that was supposed to protect meâ. #HijabisFightBack was a way to protest this discrimination. âđ˝ The right to education should not be negotiable. (source)
A gentle reminder to all that the first university the world ever saw was founded by a Muslim woman. Today, we have to beg to be able to wear a hijab and get an education at the same time â both of which are fundamental rights that our women are being stripped of.Â

ARGENTINA JUST MADE HISTORY.
The first protest for legal abortion in democracy in Argentina was on March 7, 1984. 36 years later, December 30, 2020 at 04:13 am, abortion is now officially legal, safe and free for all women. Women have fought for so long to obtain rights of this kind. This is a HUGE step for us, what an amazing day. EL ABORTO ES LEGAL đ
âI am not free while any woman is unfree, even when her shackles are very different from my own.â â Audre Lorde

You're part of the problem. I don't care if it doesn't fit your aesthetic or you think that a like is "just as good". Reblogs are way more important than likes.
A like is like a quick almost mindless thing you do as a "neat" before you keep scrolling. At least that's what it feels like they are.
A reblog is telling that creator: Hey, I really like your stuff and want you to make more. I'll help by spreading your content around so more people can see it.
Every time I see such a difference in likes and reblogs it discourages me from writing more and I'm sure others feel the same.
