A blogpost I wrote last year on such an underrated Irish writer!
bug fairies yknow I decided might as well post original drawings too
a return to tumblr after 12 years ✨ first post featuring youtube ambience content -`🕯´-
I'm going to admit, I've never read any of the books
But recently I rewatched all the Tinkerbell movies(big childhood favs) and noticed a big worldbuilding mistake.
In the Pirate Fairy it is explained that whatever you trow pixie dust on, it floats
So it all made sense to me:
They wouldnt normally be able to fly, their wings would be too small, but they throw pixie dust on themselves and use their wings to propel themselves.
But in the Neverbeast it is a pretty big point of the movie that because of the pixie dust the wings are glowing
Why would they glow if it just makes them float?
(As I mentioned before I haven't read any of the books so don't come at me)
This has been bothering me
completed my goal of making 4 zines this zinetober!
A pixie hollow a day keeps the depression at bay
So I made this fairy and had a lovely photo shoot at a stump!
I don't know what they're looking at, but it sure ain't good
(experimented with a new brush using my disney fairy oc, they're the clumsiest dust fairy around)
✸Les mots que l'on n'a pas dit les fleurs du silence✸
I desperately need help finding this book I read probably a decade ago. I can't remember any character names but i know that the mc was a teen girl who sorta lived in some sort of theater and I think and she wanted to find her mom or the truth about her mom but her guardian/parent person wouldn't let her but she leaves anyway. She also has two or three fairies that hang with her all the time and I think they're might have been something with a merman. I literally cannot stop thinking about this God forsaken book someone help please.
I made a new fairy and gave her clothes this time!! 🍄🧚♂️
I actually like the way I drew this. I should post more stuff from my sketch book
