Lackadaisy. Zombie. Au.

Just imagine... In an apocalyptic 1920s St. Louis, a mutant disease is rapidly turning the American population into ghastly flesh eating zombies. Among the decline of population, gangs of cats are popping up everywhere around the country, taking in survivors deemed worthy for their operation.

In spite of this, the gangs turn to rival each other, fighting tooth and claw for the one thing able to drown them of their sorrows... Alcohol. One of the primary gang leaders of this now not so secretive operation, Atlas May. Yet after his mysterious death, which was rumored to be a strategic zombie ambush, Atlas's legacy is left in the paws of his widow, Mitzi. Though with the zombie populace gaining more and more each day, Mitzi, and the Lackadaisy as a whole, must defend the once glorious speakeasy from ruin. Despite the ever increasing threat of the zombies, including the various rival gangs, and crooks, dotting the surrounding St. Louis area...

I found that reference picture on Pinterest and was really intrigued to redraw this with Bill and Ford.

everything makes me think of them

trying to emulate the storyboard style because ford is so cute in them it makes me rip my hair out

resorting to mspaint becaause my ipad isnt ccharged

i love this meme because neither of them are playing it right

i post too much

i will not be constrained by made up societal rules like “drawing in the lines”

also hopefully the quality doesnt getting destroyed and this stays readable

i so desperately yearn for an episode of gravity falls where stan and ford just get to talk. it feels like there was so little development between them, and ford not getting a chance to breathe before immediately being thrust into weirdmaggedon just makes his character seem rushed. he seriously needed a few more episodes to be fleshed out. not his character, exactly, but rather his interactions w other characters, specifically stan and mabel. i think they did an incredible job characterizing him but its so hard to appreciate that when the character who is literally the most closely intertwined with his story barely gets to interact with him at all.

it didnt even have to be much, just a small interaction to show them growing closer, or even to show that theyve grown so far apart that theyre not even in the same world anymore. something that would make the final scene with stan getting blasted with the memory gun seem genuine and meaningful. not that it wasnt, but it wouldve been so much more impactful if we’d gotten to see that ford loves stan as much as we’ve seen how much stan loves ford.

another issue i have is fords “redemption” at the end, where he tells stan to sail the world with him. again, it just feels a little.. shoehorned in there i guess? like, it doesnt feel “earned” exactly, more like the writers just decided that it was time for ford to make it up to stan and thats the only reason it happened. again, a few extra heartfelt scenes between them wouldve solved this problem. i just hate that it seems like ford never confronts the unjustified anger he had towards stan. it wouldve maybe even been justified if he was mad about stan pushing him into the portal, but being mad about the PROJECT from THIRTY YEARS AGO is insane hes truly playing the long game of grudges like brother you literally lived the most fullfilling life you couldve(prior to getting pushed into another dimension for 30 years… through his own invention…) in SPITE of what stan did like i just think maybe now that youve had time to think it over we can all be adults about this… sigh….

alright i need to write a fic where ford apologizes to stan and they hug or something idgaf

I mainly write male readers if you haven’t already noticed, there’s a lack of male readers so I happened to write for them. Don’t like that, then you can keep on scrolling. This hurts my brain.

"shipping" doesn't feel like the right term anymore. like im not looking at these two characters and thinking "outside of the canon they would make a good couple." or "i hope the author writes them to be together" shipping is shallow. shipping is taking two characters who have a potential, but dont really live up to it. shipping is just making shit up. that's jelsa. that’s shounen boys and their “love interests.” that's the entire disney princess catalogue pre-ariel. what im doing is im looking at WHAT THEY ALREADY ARE and thinking "woah. okay. incredible dynamic there. im gonna hyperfixate on it until i shrivel up and die" and if it happens their already existing dynamic has heavily romantic implications, then that has NOTHING to do with me and EVERYTHING to do with the canon🤷‍♀️

Hey to my fellow New York or tristate area PJO fans, did anyone also wonder why Sally just didn’t move to the other boroughs? Like they were canonically poor and Manhattan is EXPENSIVE, for the apartment they had in the show or movie (we don’t talk about the movie) they could get a home in the other boroughs with two extra rooms for the same price. If you’re using the explanation of “oh Percy was kicked out of six schools” I know people who have done things similar to Percy and they still got into schools. He’ll be fine.

(Please tell me if there’s a canon explanation as to why and I just forgot, was it because of Grover? Well it can’t cause what about before Grover???)
