you met when she kept intruding in your jump corner and eventually she noticed she was messing up your jumps and apologised, then offered to buy you a hot drink from the rink cafe to make up for it, and it all went from there
she shows up to all your shows/competitions with a sign that says "I ♡ my girlfriend" with your photo in the heart
watches intently when you're trying to learn something new and tries to give you pointers from an outsider's perspective the best she can
when you get off the ice she helps untie one of your skates' laces and clean it off and put it away while you do the other - she loves wiping off the built-up ice off the blade (it's so satisfying)
the two of you go ice skating together just for fun and she falls over a lot (she blames it on the rental skates)
if she's about to fall she clings onto you and almost makes you fall over too
she massages your muscles if they ache
when you teach her a trick on ice (like how to go backwards and simpler things like that), she teaches you some taekwondo later
if you have an injury, most likely on your ankle, she will not leave your side and will keep checking that you're okay
she always carries spare gloves in case you forget yours for the rink
she also always carries a spare lip balm incase you forget yours since you always complain about dry lips from the cold there
sometimes she mimicks your moves, especially spins or jumps, when you're just hanging out
she tries to convince you you're as good as olympic/professional skaters when you watch competitions together
she has a section of her notebook dedicated to figure skating and has colour-coded techniques and what they are and everything there is to know, along with the biggest names and celebrities in figure skating
she cheers you on if you fall trying to do some complicated move and gives you pep talks if you feel like giving up
she always tells you you look badass on the ice
she decided to buy herself skates and she bought hockey skates which suit her skating style better
once you decide to get off the rink, she waits at the side with your skate guards and your water bottle with a proud smile
you watch ice skating movies together and you point out what is accurate and what isn't
she buys you your favourite hot drink once you're done and ready to go home
you talk and gossip while you do stretches
you always share an annoyed glance when people, especially a little kid or hockey skater, skate through your jump corner and ruin your jump just as you were about to do it and you have to start over
she's one of those people who have a fear of falling over and someone skating over their hand
her mind is blown every time you spin - "how do you even spin that fast??"
her way of stopping is crashing into the wall

I had a ton of figure skating videos pop up on my FYP on TikTok and I couldn't stop imagining Bakugou falling for a figure skater after only seeing them skate one time.
The music I was listening to while writing this was "Schindlers List"

Showing up to the rink early for his hockey practice hoping to get some warm ups before the rest of the team only to find you alone on the ice, known to him that you had rented the rink for an hour to practice your short program.
The music playing over the speakers had a chorus of violins playing, the softness of your arms catching his eyes as you glide effortlessly across the ice, white skates moving in a dance like sequence as you performed a triple lutz triple toe loop combo and landing it perfectly, skating backwards.
The gentle smile on your face as you slid across the ice, eyes flickering over to the tall, muscular blonde who you knew as your Colleges Hockey Captain, Bakugou Katsuki. You usually practiced after his team, but decided to get an earlier practice in before your competition tomorrow.
Red meeting your eyes as you held eachothers gaze gaze for a moment before you turned to preform a scratch spin, your program coming to an end as you spun fast in the center of the rink before stopping on a dime the same time the music ended as the silence rang out in the almost empty rink.
Bakugou couldn't take his eyes off of you as you ended your routine, suddenly feeling very warm in the cold building. He didn't know who you were or why he'd never met you before, but he was curious and when his interest is peeked he's going to follow through to the end. You weren't leaving that ice without his number and he wasn't gonna let you go anywhere without him from that point forward.

* Dude was nervous. More than he have been before skating. His hands where shaking.

after years of fighting a nail and tooth in junior series as one of the pioneering women in modern day motorsports, she's shaped to be confident. her personality is similar to max. homegirl doesn't give a fuck what the media have to say about her and often clapback at misogynistic journalists. you get the gist.
so she's confident enough to ask him out specifically on the race day. after begging the ferrari mechanics to not fuck up strategy and winning the race. she's marching up to him with one cause, ask him out.
which i think would leave him lil stunned because he's more of a traditional guy. not the toxic traditional but yk the type to pay for the meals, not letting his gf buy flowers because he thinks it's his duty to buy them for her, making the first moves because he thinks he's a guy. the chivalrous traditional type of guy. but when she makes the first move, still covered in champagne, and sweat and in her ferrari suit he thinks it so fucking hot.

Basically, how I believe some figure skaters would be as parents.
Ilia Malinin
- I feel like he wouldn't want his kids to skate because of the pressure he feels from the media, and there would be an even bigger expectation for them as their dad is the 'Quadgod'.
- He would be really caring and involved in his kids' lives, I feel like he has at least two kids, and he supports them in whatever sports or hobbies they do.
- He does teach them how to skateboard, though.
Mikhail Shaidorov
- Did someone say girl dad?
- Seriously, I feel like Misha has 3 girls, and they are his whole world.
- He does teach them how to skate but doesn't want them competing. All he wants is a quiet life in Almaty with his family, away from the media.
Alexandra Ignatova
- Sasha has stated in interviews how she's excited about having kids, and I believe she would be an excellent mum.
- Those kids will have a dog each and will know how to ice skate by the time they are 3.

- He has said in an interview that he is ready for kids but would be scared if he had daughters because he won't be able to protect them when they are older.
- Very overprotective but not in a suffocating way.

"you better win it all or else i'll hold it over you for brining us here on valentines," ilia says making you chuckle. "i know you'll do well don't worry. you're the reigning olympic and world champion. heck this gonna be your second grand slam! you set so many records that one could only dream of," his one hands leaves to cup your cheek. "you're a champion, my champion," he added. "i love you," he pecked your forehead.
"i'm not going on a war," you chuckled. "shh let me get in my wag boyfriend feels," he joked. "i love you too," you leaned over the boards to peck his lips before skating away. doing your little warmp before standing in your position of your program.
you breezed through the program. nailing each spin, step sequence, spins, and jumps. every quad was landed with a positive high goe, including the quad axel your darling boyfriend taught you. infactnyour quad axel in the free skate at this asian winter games was the highest recorded quad axel.
illia stood next to your coach. the way you blend your artistry with your technical elements never fails to leave him marveling at your abilities. you threw yourself in his arms as you walked your way to the kiss and cry along with your coach. ilia rocked you in his arms, placing soft and delicate kisses on the crown of your head.
holding his hands in yours, you rested your head on his shoulder as you listened to your coach giving her reviews about your skate. ilia squeeze your hand, reassuring you about your performance. and lo and behold! he was right. triumphing the asian winter games with a margin, your coach and ilia congratulated you as the organizers prepared for medal ceremony.
"first place, yn ln," the announcer announced as you took your steps on the podium. you leaned down as the medal was placed around your neck. you smiled for the cameras as your country's flag sat proudly on your shoulders.
smiling for the cameras, your eyes caught a familiar phone camera in the sea of professional cameras. ilia, who was proudly taking photos of you. a crimson blush crept up on your neck.
ilia opened his arms for you, again, as you stepped off of the ice. "see i was right. you'd win it all." you rolled your eyes at his cocky tone. "you just lucked out on your bet malinin. you're american anyway," you smirked, looking up at him. "what's that supposed to mean moya lyubímaya (my beloved)?" he chuckled. "brining out the russian now are we? you have quite an identity crisis." you tip toed to peck his lips.
"you love either way," he challenged, knowing he was right. "whatever helpd you sleep at night babe," you roll your eyes at him as you leave for the interviews. even at the interviews ilia sticks around, just in the background, craving your touch like a starved man. locking your hands in his the moment you're done with one interview.
"don't you love you love?" one of the reporters teased you at the press conference. "love wins all," another yelled erupting laughters of adoration in the room as you blushed. ilia just looked at you from afar, giving you massive love eyes.
