My posts for each day of Funguary!
This event is hosted by feefal and is primarily a drawing challenge in which people draw a mushroom for each day of February. I'm doing each day's drawing, but I'm not one to post my art often, so I will likely end up only be posting a couple of my favorites.
However, I still want to talk about the mycology of these mushrooms, so I'm going to make a post each day in which I talk about some of the cool science behind the mushroom of the day. We've got mushrooms that glow, mushrooms that digest themselves, and mushrooms that cause internal bleeding, so should be fun!

Funguary!!!!!
My time has come!!!!!!
February is right around the corner, which means it’s soon time for Funguary 2025! The drawing event where we draw a bunch of mushroom based characters during the month of February.
Rules are super simple, just draw art related to mushrooms! No need to complete all the prompts, just pick and choose from the ones you feel inspired by🍄
Heeey I'm still working on funguary, even though it's March already :D 16 out of 28 done, and I will complete it sooner or later Sarcosphaera genus, false chanterelle, trogia venenata (their alt. name is literally "little white mushroom" like what?) and octopus stinkhorn
Sorry for being slow with funguary, I will complete it but not in time Another 4 entries - devil's fingers, shaggy mane, ghost mushroom (both in glowing and usual look) and tiger tricholoma
Another 4 funguary entries! Cryo vine (this is NOT a real life fungi - it's a plant from Borderlands: TPS that looks like mushroom), puffball, turkey tail, bleeding tooth All of them except first one - revisited 2024 prompts :]
First 4 funguary entries united with one color scheme Lions mane, brain mushroom, split gill and coral fungi
The more I draw and the further my progress goes - the more time I need to draw. So I've come to realization that I need double amount of time for art challenges if I want to participate in one. Just can't simplify and fast pace art, it doesn't feel like I've achieved something if I rush everything. So I'll be careful next time choosing the most interesting art challenges in the bunch. And I had a lot of fun with funguary :) Here is the last bunch of fungi, and not so much, fellas
more fungi guys still I have last 8 entries to make
second week of funguary, long overdue
I am far behind the funguary, but I still wanna finish it Here are first 7 prompts of fungi based critters
This entry turned out a bit differently, so I’ll post them separatelly
Last Funguary entries They’re a bit all over the place, but in the end I’ve got a bit tired of just anthro critters Anyway, that was fun
Getting close to the last prompts
Slowly working on Funguary, first 5 prompts
Funguary is soon upon us! Pleeeaaseee send me mushroom suggestions to include in this years list ✨🍄
I forgot about this site again sorry. I come by with super duper mix up: fungy and dinosaurs. Best things ever. Starting with dilo and i dont care its scientific inaccurate!!! I dont!!!!
