The Dance of Dragons. It’s the story of the fight between Rhaenyra Targaryen and her half-brother Aegon for control of the Seven Kingdoms. Both of them thought they belonged on the Iron Throne. When people started declaring for one of them or the other, their fight divided the kingdom in two. Brothers fought brothers. Dragons fought dragons. By the time it was over, thousands were dead. And it was a disaster for the Targaryens as well. They never truly recovered.

That's just what they call it. I think it’s poetic.

Me, watching that last Arya scene: WHEN THE RED STAR (RED KEEP) BLEEDS AND THE DARKNESS GATHERS. BORN AMIDST SALT AND SMOKE. AZOR AHAI.
When Melisandre first showed up and had a significant reaction seeing Arya, I had a real panicked moment. I truly thought Arya may be Jon's Nissa Nissa and that Melisandre would try to stab Arya through the heart for Jon's sake.
My reasoning is that Jon currently loves Arya the most. Clearly he has feelings towards Daenerys, but she's still new to Jon and their love hasn't really built up to its full potential. Arya on the other hand, he loves his little sister so completely and unconditionally that she would be the closest he would have to a Nissa Nissa.
Needless to say, so glad that's not what happened in the show 😭😭😭 Our baby's still alive!!

Sometimes it's like... did you even watch the episode? In Sam's case he really wasn't given an option- he's a man, has had some training, killed a White Walker before, and therefore absolutely must be out in the battle. If you'd paid attention to Edd's line as Sam shows up into formation, he says, "Oh for fuck's sake, you took your time," implying that Sam was supposed to be there. He wasn't given a choice. If he had, he'd gladly would have been in the crypts- Sam's a self-actualized coward. So yeah, sucks that Edd died while protecting him, but the toxic masculinity of Westerosi society put Sam there, not himself.
I can’t believe that people are still trying to call Sansa useless or cowardly for going to the crypts. When in fact what she was being was unselfish and smart.
Noncombatants being on the battlefield is cute, and all ‘go warrior! You’re so brave!’…. up until the point that you realize that the actual combatants are therefore going to have to ignore their own safety to protect these noncombatants. Especially if these noncombatants are Important People, and the combatants have a duty to see them safe.
The reason that Jorah got killed? Was because Dany, a noncombatant without her dragon, was on the battlefield. Full stop. He literally took the blow that killed him by being in front of her. Had she not been there, his chances of surviving would have exponentially increased. Now obviously she didn’t fall off her dragon on purpose. But still. The point remains.
Sansa realized that she would be putting people in danger if she stayed on the battlefield, and so she put her selfish wishes to be there for her people aside and went down to a place where she thought she would be safer and no one would have to defend her.
And when it became necessary, she was even ready to defend herself, if need be.
So just leave her alone, she’s been through enough.

- Arya likes exploring.
- She likes picking flower and giving them to her dad causes she loves him.
- She likes babies and playing with kids.
- She makes friends with ANYBODY.
- She used to swing her doll around when forced to eat vegetables.
- She gets sad when she thinks about Bran being sad and misses playing with her baby brother Rickon.
- She talks too fast when she gets excited. (Ex. When talking about her older brother Jon)
- She swims like a fish.
- She gets sad when thinks her wolf puppy Nymeria not liking her anymore.
- And she put someone on her hate list cause he stole her best friend’s favorite helmet.
- She adopted some random baby at 9 just cause she was scared.
I'm sure this has been done...

As afternoon rolls around, you prepare lemonade for your hardworking man, walking towards the field with a cold glass of lemonade you stop in your tracks, there he was standing in all his shirtless glory, you watched as sweat rolled down his body and how his skin glistened under the sweltering sun. He gives you a appreciative kiss on your forehead as he takes the glass from you. It was evening now, the familiar pitter patter of ghost’s paws signalled jons arrival, walking to the door to greet him, wrapping your arms around his shoulders you take a big sniff, he smells like soil and his natural scent, it’s intoxicating. You give him a big wet smooch on his lips and tell him to fresh up for dinner.
