Suddenly as if a weight had been lifted off yourself, your body recovered consciousness and jolted awake opening your eyes you saw a blurry figure standing in front of you. Shaking your head to wake you were instead met by one of the most beautiful shades of periwinkle that a person could have as an eye color. As the lights above you began to illuminate you finally could see however it is.
The man had dark blue hair that reached below his shoulder. His then right eye was covered by an eyepatch making you look towards his left side instead taking a closer look to his features you where a little in awe at his beauty you have never thought someone that handsome ever existed especially something out of a fairy tale.
You then began to take in the surrounding that place was now illuminated by the dim lamps above, which wasn't the case when you arrived and the place was no longer covered in dust and dirt instead everything was neatly tucked away, cleaned showcasing the lavish guest area not even a trace of anything seen when you arrived was here?
Looking towards the man again in pure confusion " Where am I " you asked clearly not gripping the situation which also seems to give the man a slightly confused reaction too but alittle amused at the same time by the looks of it his lip had slightly curved.
"Interesting don't you think? I was about to ask you the same" what business? do you have in my mansion young miss/ sir and in who's authority did you have entry to this area?
He said his silky voice deepening signaling his change in demeanour addressing his authority but the amused look on his face didn't change abit.
You quickly got up from the couch bowing your head as you refusively began to apologize about entering some else property because from the looks of it looked really abanded and in the mindset of finding shelter you probably imagined something else and where to leave right away when the rain calmed abit.
The man in response shook his head instead ,arms crossed as he leaned up against the wall looking back at you in understanding.
"Well then you should've just said so young miss/sir but I still don't understand why I wasn't notified of this entry of yours and to how you got unsupervised I might need to start giving out proper discipline especially to such unattended matters" his voice going cold but immediately changed looking back at you.
Which genuinely frightened you *how does someone's demeanour constantly keep changing from friendly to violent in just a few minutes ?*
* And what does it mean about servants you couldn't even hear a pin drop of noise since you arrived and how the hell did this place change you sweared to god you weren't't imagining things.*
You thought to your self, running through the forest wet and cold couldn't suddenly make you delusional to imagine the place look like something it was not but for some reason you wanted to mentally slap yourself, you felt slightly embrassed and guilty at the same for intruding into someone else property and the right thing to do was to leave immediately.
Apologizing once again you grabbed your backpack from below and was ready to head out but was immediately stopped by his voice once again turning from his friendly side to cold.
"Do you really think it's advisable for a young lady/lad as yourself to be roaming around such late hours of the night, all alone?"
*Well he did have a point, it was really late and still pouring outside and the way out of here is the woods which you really didn't want to deal with the occurrence of yourself being lost again at such time and evening if you did make it out the last town was properly miles away*
Sighing deeply you turned around to face the man who's expression soon changed back to normal, you nodding in agreement.
"Great then! As my guest for the night and as your host let me have the honors of serving you to night, making sure you're properly feed and have a nice warm bed to sleep on!"
He said cheerfully before lightly clapping his hands.
"Adeline would you mind taking our beloved guest's backpack back to their room?"
"Yes Master" someone whispered behind you their cold breath making you get chills swiftly from the scare. There stood a pale looking woman, her eye motionless as she held your bag in two hands before bowing down and in a blink of an eye she vanished as she was never there just seconds ago. Clearly Abit spooked you looked back to the male not able to process whatever is going on you kept silent, in return the male gave you a reassuring smile.
Gently placing his hand around your waist as he guided you towards the dinner area, *where a hot freshly cooked meal awaits*
Little did you know staying the night at this strangers place was a really really bad life decision you had chosen to accomplish yourself with.

𝙳𝚎𝚜𝚌𝚛𝚒𝚙𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 : You accidentally stumbled upon an old abandoned manor one rainy night taking upon yourself to head inside and be faced with a dusty old guest area, cold and trench in rain water you couldn't help but decided to take a nap upon one of the decent looking couches upfront only to wakeup and be face to face with manor's Master himself who "insisted" you'd stayed the night. After all you are his guest n wouldn't it be rude to decline a host offer?

Death does not knock. She comes unannounced, barging in brutally and leaving behind an inert body. Adanna never expected death to leave behind her father’s corpse, sprawling in the middle of their great chamber, letting his putrid scent spread through their little household. No blood and no disease — just gone. This is what alcohol did to a man — or so the old lady living on the street used to say. How could Adanna have known she was right ? No one ever listens to the blather of the seniles.
A deceased man could not speak anymore, could not lie, nor drink, nor hit. The only thing her father could do was lie there on the ground with vacant eyes, facing the ceiling, his mouth partially open, emanating a breath that held no warmth. The overwhelming smell lingered in every corner, clinging to her hair and the dying plants. There was only one reason why she hadn’t gotten rid of the body sooner : a need, sharp and gnawing, was driving her mad.
Rotting flesh is bitter, Adanna realised— far too late, after a few days.
Kneeling in the mud, retching the sour tang of decay still clinging to her tongue, she cursed the moment her teeth had sunk into cold flesh, driven by an odd curiosity, urging and impossible to justify. Patience always made for finer meat— or so she thought. But, Death was imminent and thus it demanded immediate consumption.

Advice for 🦇Baby Bats🦇
I'm Mama Bat, otherwise known as Jane, and I've been a goth for about 6 years now, so I would just like to share some advice for any baby bats just starting out 🖤
Fashion- You absolutely do not have to dress like a goth to be goth. That's why theres different names! The fashion is gothic, you can dress gothic, but goth is a musical subculture darlings. Therefore all you need to do be goth is listen to goth music
Some bands I recommend for starters: Lebanon Hanover, The cure (is a classic of course..), Siouxie and the Banshees (another big name in the goth music culture), London After Midnight, Christian Death, Scary Bitches, Depeche Mode, She Wants Revenge, Joy Divison, Twin Tribes, Bauhaus, Twin Temple, and so many more good ones, I'll leave my spotifi playlist at the bottom 🖤
PLEASE know just because someone releases music that is "edgy" or "sad", it is not Goth... Goth music fall under: Goth rock, new wave, dark wave, ethereal wave, industrial, post punk, cold wave... You get the point
Know the history! Goth music started in late 1970s, the first song to be considered goth was Bela Lugosi's Dead by Bauhaus. Back in the day there was a Goth club called The Batcave was located in London and that was the haven for goths in that time. Goth music continued to evolve throughout time as you know and here we are
Fashion! (deeper context) I know this is an often brought up topic, as I mentioned earlier the fashion is INSPIRED, its not part of the music subculture necessarily. There's many fashion categories to the gothic fashion, Trad goth, romantic goth, victorian gothic, cabaret goth, cyber goth, ect ect
Now, I know clothes are expensive..especially in this economy, but for christ sake DONT support fast shopping! Brands like dolls kill, shein, kill star, temu..dare I say Amazon..ugh..no. They go against everything we stand for, I understand its convenient but...you really don't want your hard earned coin going to people like Jeff Bezos.
Instead! Opt for exploring your creative bone! Its said a lot to thrift but I have to agree, and also..DIY is so much fun. Sewing is a great hobby to pick up as well in my opinion, but of course you could always just buy some spikes and what not for hobby lobby or whatever crafts store you like and hot glue them on.
If DIY isnt your thing, there ARE some lovely gothic brands online, I personally like devilnight.co.uk but the downside is they're quite pricey. If theres a gothic small buisness SUPPORT SUPPORT SUPPORT!!! LOVE SMALL BUSINESSES!!
The goth community is quite nice, of course theres going to be some means ones which is quite baffling to me that..as a subculture that is often criticized or made dun if that theres goth people who criticize baby bats because...hoe you were once one too?? And ive met a few 'goths' who shit on people exploring their fashion, just don't listen to them we hate those kinds.. If you choose to dress gothic its all about SELF EXPRESSION!! Be as creative and spooky as you want my love🖤
Another type of goth we dont like are conservative goths! Goth, like punk and metal is a rebellious scene so being conservative while being goth is..rather...odd.
Also, fuck white supremacists, racists, homophobes, transphobes, conservatives, people who think they have any right to a woman's body, corporate greed, if you're just a horrible person in general..absolutely not.
Other than that Goth is very welcoming, its said you can't but you can totally be religious and be goth. Being goth doesnt automatically make you a witch or satanist, you can worship Jesus and still be goth if that's what makes you happy, just be a good person!
You can be lgbtqia+, religious, old (elder goths have my full heart and love), a furry, young, disabled, it doesnt matter as long as you're a good person you are welcomed
You can also enjoy pretty much whatever you'd like, your interests don't ALL have to be goth and or gothic. If you want to listen to New Dawn Fades by Joy Division then watch an episode of My Little Pony, that sounds like an amazing day! You do that you're still completely valid.
