New episode made me think of this
"Nemesis was a Romano-Egyptian deity in the form of a griffin. She was associated with fate, and complete statuettes often showed one paw resting upon a wheel representing fate."

The Invisible Man (1933) by James Whale.
Based on H.G. Wells' 1897 novel, "The Invisible Man: A Grotesque Romance."
James Whale at, perhaps, his most Whale-ish. Unyielding, cutting and misanthropic. A funny, creepy, and brisk story of madness.
Definitely one of Universal's creepiest monsters.
๐ A galaxy griffin! One of the first things I drew when I got alcohol markers earlier this year. I didn't get all of the colors so I awkwardly tried to use a mint color I had in place of what was meant to be a cooler tone of blue. I also don't like how the shadows look washed out, that was me attempting to color blend.
During drawing this, I played around with the Bing AI image creator and typed in a prompt similar to "galaxy griffin" to reference off of. It's fun to get inspired off of it. (I won't go into an artist vs. AI debate, I just think it's a good way to get drawing inspiration. But you're free to tell me what you think about it in the comments, so long as it's kept civil.)
I do not have context for these, I just wanted to draw Hyde and Griffin and these happened to turn out well enough to post-
Just got done reading The Invisible Man and all I have to say is I think Griffin and Jekyll/Hyde would get along great
My proof:
First up, Griffin
And then we have Hyde
