I made this watercolor painting a while back of model Ashley Graham, after seeing a video of her doing an aerial yogo workout.
I decide to combine my painting with the footage that inspired it, again under the grounds of fair use.
I love this watercolor I painted call Heather in A Blue Dress based British Soul Singer Heather Small, I think I did a great job capturing her likeness she's not only a beautiful woman but a beautiful singer as well.
DeviantArt Description-Next Plane to London
'Next Plane to London is a song written by songwriter Kenny O'Dell and made famous by the band Rose Garden, it tells the story of a Young American Woman who is a staving musician waiting for her big break. She's about to begin a tour of the United Kingdom but is reluctant to leave her boyfriend back at home, it is truly a tale of loneness and facing an uncertain future. It also is one of Hope and Bravery as she moves forward to face the new Challenge ahead of her, knowing she will return a stronger and wiser person regardless of if she successes or fails.'
DeviantArt Description-Neal Adams Batman Tribute 1941-2022
'I did this drawing in honor of Comic Book Artist Neal Adams, Who recently passed away he is probably best known for his work with Denny O'Neil on titles such as Batman and Green Lantern/Green Arrow.
Neal also played a role in helping Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster secure a pension and a restored byline on their creation. Neal Adams not only drew superheroes he was one in real life he will be surely missed.'
DeviantArt Description-George Perez Cyborg Tribute 1954-2022
'When talking about an Comic Book Writer and Artist like George Perez, it's next to impossible to list all characters he created, co-created or recreated. I decided to draw one that many people have taken close to their hearts Cyborg (Victor Stone) member the Teen Titans and later the Justice League.
George Perez often enjoyed working on Comics with large cast of characters. He was once asked how many characters he'd like to draw he replied "All of Them." He truly was an Artist Artist who was truly Irreplaceable.'
I made this drawing of this drawing of Nurse Flower Child "Coffy" Coffin from the blaxploitation film Coffy (1973) , played by Pam Grier Coffy is a stong take no prisoners character; I won't spoil the movie for y'all but if any of you folks get chance to check it out you should.
DeviantArt Description-Amy Wong
'Amy Wong, PH.D is one of the many colorful inhabitants of 31st Century New New York in the animated Sci Fi Comedy series Futurama; She was created Matt Groening and David X. Cohen and brought to life by actress Lauren Tom. Doctor Wong resemblance to her voice actress appearance is which probably no coincidence as she was modeled to fit Tom's comedic style and personality. Both women are truly talented one of kind characters in their respective chosen fields of physics and acting, making their worlds a better more enjoyable places to live in because of it.'
DeviantArt Description- Suzie and Sunsets
'I was inspired to make this drawing after seeing a photograph of Marilyn Monroe impersonator Suzie Kennedy, enjoying a Beautiful Sunset on the Spree River in Berlin, Germany.'
A while back in December of Last Year I decided to make a color pencils drawing of a Mermaid called Lady Layla; I eventually I found this photograph of former Up All Night hostess Rhonda Shear and chose to use it as the basis for this for drawing.
I would later reuse this idea later on when I made a watercolor painting called Marlo, whom I based on model Jennifer Atilemile; Hopeful this will give you better idea of how my creative process sometimes work.
Here's another Drawing I decided to make a Gif of The Sensational Sarah Tuberty, She's a lot of Fun to Draw and a true renaissance woman.
I made this Drawing a few months ago, I based it on the iconic scene from 'Deep Space Homer' where Homer Simpson is enjoying a snack in Zero Gravity; I enjoyed making this drawing it was a lot of fun to make.
I recently took part in the 2000ad Art Stars one page Judge Dredd story contest, I didn't win and unfortunately the coloring a little off; I worked really hard on it I think did pretty well considering my lack experience. I hope fans of 2000ad and Judge Dredd enjoy it, I had a lot fun embracing the punk rock sprint of the magazine.
No Rest The Legends
I'd Present my tribute painting to Carroll Shelby win at the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans; I've decide to add sound effects to make you get the feeling experiencing of going down the Mulsanne Straight at high speeds in the Aston Martin DBR1.
My DeviantArt description of my piece is below.
"In 1959 the Aston Martin backed David Brown Racing setout to make history at Le Mans with the DBR1; Delivering the brand first win in the grueling twenty four hour race with a three car team (numbered 4-6) comprised of the six finest drivers car no. 4 (Stirling Moss and Jack Fairman), car no.5 (Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori) and car no. 6 (Maurice Trintignant and Paul Frère). Behind the Wheel is a 36 year old American Race Car Driver from Leesburg, Texas named Carroll Shelby; Shelby has served an USAAF Pilot during World War 2, after the war he drifted trough various entrepreneurial efforts involving a variety things from dump trucks to poultry; Before finding his true calling as a racing driver for hire, Shelby is not only battling for the win but secretly for his very life against a heart condition that is predicted to kill him within two years. The Young Texan perseveres with the aid of a nitroglycerine pill that keeps his heart problems in check long enough to reach victory lane; Carroll Shelby has just achieved what many drivers often dream about but very few do a win at Le Mans, but his story doesn't end here this merely part of his final bow as a driver; He will outlive his doctors original diagnosis by several years thanks to advances in medical science, During this time Shelby will found Shelby America which would breath new life into the AC Ace with the addition of a Ford V8 Engine; Creating both the Shelby Cobra and Shelby Daytona Coupe which would led to his involvement in both the Ford Mustang and the Ford GT40, the latter of both would see his return to Le Mans 1964-1967 as a manufacturer thus making him the only person to ever win as both a driver and a constructor."
Thanks for Reading I hope y'all enjoy see this as did making it, I had fun making this painting and video as well.
Marlo
I made this piece for the upcoming merry month May; I decided that since this is the month of the mermaid. I would make a watercolor painting of a mermaid race called Merrow, whom I named Marlo after Raymond Chandler's famed hardboiled detective Philip Marlowe.
Marlo's physical appearance is inspired by model Jennifer Atilemile; Jennifer's strike beauty was very easy for me to transform into this great mythical creature you see before you.
Sensational Sarah Tuberty
I would like to present my latest piece of art it was inspired by real life Aerialist, Flight Attendant and Occupational Therapist Dr. Sarah Tuberty; She truly is one of those few people can do anything she puts her mind too. Here Sarah is doing a move that I believe is called a Star Pose, I personally like this pose because it makes her like a superheroine. Sarah truly is a one of a kind person with one of a kind skills which makes her a very fun person to draw.
I present my latest drawing The Sliver Fox in Blue this piece was inspired by part time fashion model Luisa Dunn. I saw a picture of her on online a few days ago and she looked so friendly so confident, I felt she would make a good subject for my next work of art.
I recently decided to do another watercolor painting, but I had trouble picking the subject. Luckily I found a picture of Ashley Graham doing Aerial Yoga and decided to do a Painting based on it. I call it Someone Whose Not Boring, I hope I didn't bore anyone talking about it.
I recently did a watercolor painting based on this picture of contortionist Julia Gunthel aka Zlata. I had lot of fun making piece especially figuring how to make work, I hope did Good Job this was a real challenge that I think brought out the best in me.
I present my drawing of Captain Mainwaring from the British Sitcom Dad's Army, He is a Bank Manager and World War Two Home Guard Platoon Leader. George Mainwaring was created by David Croft and Jimmy Perry, but was skillfully brought to life by actor Arthur Lowe.
George Mainwaring is a man trying to prove himself and his country that he deserves respect, since he is unlikely to serve in a unit overseas do to his reserved occupation as a Bank Manager being essential to the war effort. Nonetheless Captain Mainwaring and his men are willing any challenge thrown at them with a brave stiff upper lip and a bold sense of determination.
I did this watercolor panting of British Singer Kate Bush, I'm not sure which song she's Performing here I think it's Wow. I hope did a good job, this was a very fun piece to work on.
Here's a drawing I did few months ago I did of Cinderella. I decided to draw my own 'What If?' version, specifically if she appeared in one Jack Kirby's Bronze Age Sci Fi Epics.
I used some of these characters below as examples for the design. I hope was able capture his style.
Should've been studying for my test but noOooo..
And now I have the drawing of a skull....
YEET ME FROM A WINDOW 💀
Me: spending time looking at references on Pinterest
My brain: We want to see Lancelot in this
Me: But what about the other hundreds of unfinished drawings?
My brain: Now!
Me: Okay, okay, Fine! I'll do it now!
Just a poor drawing, without a face or a hand, and disproportionate. But enough for today.
