Had to make myself some grey fingerless gloves. Terror brainworms made me do it.
I noticed when looking for reference pictures to explain to my non-The Terror friends why these gloves were so necessary that the characters whose gloves are closest to this either have full fingers (Crozier) or are fingerless but without ribbed tops (Blanky and Jopson), but I'd already made the ribbed tops of fingers. They're very comfy & utilitarian though, I'd bet money that at least *one* of the guys had ribbed-top fingerless gloves!
They're in 8ply 100% wool, so not completely historical (they would've had finer yarn in the 1840s) but made with what I had (historical in spirit then, since 'use what you've got' is historical). I knit loosely so these are on 2.50mm double point needles at 6 stitches per inch.
I'm cursed to live in a warm climate so I won't get that much use out of them but sometimes I make things for the *vibes*
My bobbin-lace off the pins. Still monochrome to keep the secret of what colour it is in the remote chance my friend reads my tumblr. I wound too much thread onto the bobbins so I probably have enough to do a second one now 😃
I don't post my craft here much but decided I'd like to try to. This is what I'm working on at the moment:
I make bobbin lace: at the moment I'm making a bookmark for a friend (what colour it is is a secret, hence monochrome photos) in Gütermann 100% silk on 12 pairs of bobbins.

Another star dragon! I call this one Ariser the star runner. Coincidentally my little brother has coerced me into staying up with him to see a comet tonight. I'm especially proud of how the wings turned out! They make 'im look like a bright blaze. This guy is a bit bigger than a gold dollar.
I got some of that styrafoam bead goo stuff and was playing with it last night. It's kinda like a stress ball! Only it kinda stinks... so I added some sweet smelling hand sanitizer! Now it smells like strawberry shortcake, lol.
You know how those cheese wheel snacks come covered in wax? This is what I made this tiny guy out of! He's shiny and red and kinda hard to see. Oh well! Sure is cute to me.
I made some tiny roses! The big one is the size of a quarter. I made a rose out of cheese wheel wax one day during my break at work and my boss commissioned me to make one for her! The red and pink ones are entwined by a green vine at the bottom. I was thinking the dark red and black ones would make good earrings if I could figure out how. Any advice?
Some little dragons I made in the middle of art class out of moldable eraser. They're about as long as my tumb (my hands are small). That stuff is suprisingly hard to work with because it always snaps back in place, making it hard to smooth out or make points.
My little star dragons! Mum is about the size of a silver dollar and daughter is almost as big as a quarter. They're both hand made tiny dragons and I loved making them! I might make a third as a dad dragon.
Do I add hashtags? I'm just gonna add some to be carefull.

The kiln where I fire my stuff is currently BROKEN </3 so it will b a while until I see him finished in all his glory. BUT HE’S WORTH THE WAIT!
I left the skull as raw clay and made BEADS OF SWEAT with clear glaze- so I hope they sag & drip down a bit when they fire!!
I finally finished the display! For my upcoming zine fests !! I am so happy with how it came out!! I cannot believe I made this with my own two hands 😭😭 it came out exactly the way I wanted it to, I can’t believe it omg
now I can get back to printing and folding :)
I just impulsively bought about 2kg of wool for 70€ because the idea of a "Lover" inspired cardigan popped up in my head.
What the fuck is wrong with me.
