I hope you all are ok. I hope you all live till you are at least 80. Because I just talked my friend off the ledge. Suicide is never the answer no matter how much you wish you were dead. Even though it sounds like bull, it does get better, it gets so much better. You don't need to die to escape, you just need to find yourself. Think about the one person or people you would never want to leave behind. Set a goal, make yourself a reason why you can't leave. Don't let yourself be blinded by a superficial sense of helplessness, ending not only your life, but other people's happiness in your smile, in your little laugh, in every way you exist. You aren't ugly, you aren't evil, you aren't fake, you aren't invalid, and you aren't a disappointment. You are a human being, and you have a right to be happy, a right to live how you want, a right to love who you want, and a right to be there. Don't give up soldier, I'm counting on you.

Wishing can be a double edged sword. You know all the stories of be careful what you wish for, but wishes can also be wonderful. Wishing means nothing to loose, but you can loose hope if you wish too long and too hard. Almost every wish is attainable if you try hard enough, so do that thing, kiss that person, and do your best at the life you were born into. Don't just wish, wish with hope, hope for the best, and do the best you can.

Don't fret the small stuff, like making a mistake or saying the wrong thing. In the end, the small stuff won't matter. In 5 or 10 years, it will be like it never happened. Time flys by, and before you know it, the small stuff will be a speck of dust in the vastness of space and time.

Fisrt painting using photoshop 2024, after years of using photoshop 2012 xb
So first of all, I want to clarify that the dnd table I play is basically dark medieval fantasy with Lovecraft, so religion plays an important role in the story xb
To be honest I was happy with how it was turning out until I finished it XD I think I was hoping to achieve something better but I guess it's okay.
Here is Nemara before she lost her humanity and her sanity, at no point does she actually wear a crown of thorns xb, it was actually another character in the dnd table, but the image reference I had a crown of flowers and it gave me the idea of changing it to one of thorns.
A new player recently joined us, and when she saw Nemara using her magic she called her a witch xD
It's 3 in the morning and I finally finished this thing, I was hoping to finish it faster, but this week I've been with some friends so I haven't drawn as much as before xb
I did this to have a better idea on how to shade and where when the light is hitting the front, in profile. I get an idea of where the more general shadows are, but it was also to know how many tones to use and how, which is the most complicated part.
I found a photo of drawing of Romeo on printerest and wanted to draw it in my style. I couldn't find the original artistor or the image again in printerest.

I love the character design of this game, I tried my best but I don't feel like my style does the character justice XD
I corrected shading and proportions as much as I could, but I'm already tired, any type of feedback is welcome, I hope it looks good \('-')/

Portrait of my character Ergan/Small, I like how it turned out, it looks better than I expected, although I still wish I could improve the hair XD I don't know why I decided to give him one of the most difficult types of hair to paint.
This is the second part of the monster drawing.
The story goes that there are two islands, one of humans and another of monsters; and there are monsters trading in human trafficking, although I don't know with whom since I didn't make the story. The monster with the skull manages to rescue this girl and seeks to return her to her island, but everyone will stand in their way.
From what I understand she was a slave before the rescue, so she has several scars on her body, her story is quite cruel. Although I don't know how she got the glasses. I like to think she found them, while she was escaping, from survivors who didn't get very far before dying.
This was a weird combination of working in grayscale, using the curve tool to add one color to the body, another to the light and shadow, then merging all the layers to turn it back to black and white and continue working on my values , and have a color copy. The color editing, took me more time than the shading or anatomy, I don't think this is the best way to work.
Some of my human ocs I don't usually draw, since I'm bad at drawing humans ;-; If you are interested in knowing more about them: M: It's only the human version of my fursona, so as such he has no history. He has some changes like the hair color and has a few freckles on his nose, there are no more changes, same pessimistic attitude as always. Caliz: I don't know if you remember Candle? Hey, after finishing Small's portrait, I decided to do a little face painting practice, to improve my proportions, and better understand how to paint and shade the face. After seeing several references and inspirations, I realized that there are parts where you will always see shadow and help to give volume, like around the eyes, under the lips, the nose, and some shadows on the forehead, I know it looks obvious, but from someone who draws humans once a year it's pretty new I also tried to paint different skin tones, I've heard that painting dark skin is the hardest, so I wanted to try that it, I saw a video that used red and purple as shading, I rather tried to use orange, red and green, I think It looks good, but tell me what you think Rendering the light skin was easier as I have more practice with it, except for the albino girl, it was a bit tricky as I really couldn't really make out the shadows well when painting ^^" it was quite interesting to see different tones of skin, and see what technique and color was better to shade Also, sorry if the lips and noses look weird, it's very difficult, it's too different from painting lips and noses of animals, their shape and shading are hard to paint (T-T) Any kind of critique and feedback is welcome ^^
Well right now one of my chickens, and my quail are sick and I'm kind of sad to think about what to say but here is a portrait I've been working on these last 3 days. I was practicing on how to draw human faces and I decided to make a realistic portrait, but then I remembereddon't know how to render skin XD, I'm more used to painting fur. I decided to try to paint a portrait of Egan, or Small, because I haven't drawn him for a long time. I also want to update the reference sheet of Small, and Amranth. Here he looks more like a red head, but I'm still not sure what hair color I'll give him, since I don't like the hair color I originally used :b the same with Amaranth, I'll change his color palette a bit. Well, I hope it looks good, I know the proportions look a bit off, but I changed the position of the face as I worked, and that's why now it looks kind of weird.

That’s it for chapter 6! Thank you so much for reading 😀 As usual, I’ll be taking a break before I start posting chapter 7. I’ve been working on the thumbnails whenever I get the chance, but to be completely honest, ever since moving I’ve struggled just to keep up with commissions, let alone Pious. I’ve poured my heart into this comic and I make it because I love it, but if I wanna be able to pay the bills without burning out, I’m going to need all the help I can get.
