Funky little Darkstalker/Sparklestalker animation

Full body design for young Sparklestalker/Darkstalker! I had fun making the design simplified in an animation like style. I might edit it a bit in the future though. Left design is for "good" Darkstalker, and right design is after he becomes "evil".

Cooking! I have had a hard time making this thing look okay in the past, but it's LORE significant!

I mean who doesn't have a lil skyfire after fighting in the war of silver stars (A Nightwing Icewing conflict very relevant to the Lore in Fortress of Mirrors, ended nearly 20 years ago and has had a ripple effect.)

A wings of fire (?) AU/ og story/??? Snippet. Verglas is an icewing. And newly queen at this point, though her troops don't now that. What more Context couldya want?

Several years ago

The sounds of battle beat against her ears like waves on the shore, metal scraping metal and scales and leather and fur.

The blunt spiked metal mass crashed through armor, scale, and bone alike.

That was the beauty of brute force weaponry, wasn't it? Swords, axes, arrows, and claws could be stopped by enough layers, but the iron and steel plates of the Nightwing's armor turned against them, shards piercing their sides as their protection crumples under the crushing weight of her mace.

Her vision blurs with pain as something slides between her scales near her shoulder blades- she hadn't been quite careful enough, swept up in the rush of combat.

Wings flared for balance, she turns, face to face with a deep green nightwing snarling from under their helmet, the force of her full body behind her swing. Her weapon connects cleanly into the jaw of her assailant, her own blue blood splattering outward in an arc, right alongside the nightwing's teeth. Her icy blue companion finishes the job with a sharp jab of her spear directly downward, splitting their sternum, and letting the fresh red life drain out of them.

And moments later, the battle field is quiet, the enemy having retreated, leaving their dead. Reaching up with  purple stained talons, she tugs her own helmet from her brow, the stumps of her antlers exposed to the icy air, piercing yellow eyes followed the faint dark mass of nightwings fleeing between into the valley.

A useless endeavor, unfortunately for them. Nightwings were terribly obvious in the white landscape, and thus very easy to track.

She knew exactly who was waiting on the other side- they were as good as dead, once cornered between them.

Verglas replaces her helm, pulling her mace out from the snow and resting it on her shoulder.

"Forward! The fight does not end here- were you given serrated claws for nothing? Do not let your prey escape. Forward!"

Redesigned Andromeda and Gyrfalcon! Since i changed me lore, and ice dragons can't have black scales anymore

They are married, and have been for just over forty years (adjusted for dragon age headcannon shenanigans), and have six kids total.

Andromeda (left) is a nightwing Icewing hybrid and the only recorded Ex-queen from recent history, as normally such challenges end in death. She was the niece of the queen before her, Alpine.

Gyrfalcon is from a old alpine varient icewing family, the Arctics, though they are not particularly wealthy, they have a rather decent reputation given their efforts toward the recent nightwing/icewing war.

Morning Star

Tribe: Icewings

Pattern: Geode

Scales: *Frozen (When the ice texture that is normally on just the horns and claws travel to other areas of the body. Harder and heavier than standard scales and fluff.

Ice is stained to look like the blood of the other tribes.

Extra:

Morning Star was one of the top warriors during a time when the Icewings had a ruling king. A massive iceberg of a dragon the others would call her *queen-blooded and anticipated that she might aim to take the throne for herself. She had the attitude for it, she was mean-mouthed and made herself clear that she didn’t think a king should lead them. There was nothing in her way besides the gentle-natured king and his unhatched niece. However, the violence never came or maybe it was avoided? Seemingly overnight she went from planning a coup to being in the king’s back pocket. Close enough to him that she might as well have been the queen anyway, but nothing came of it. The niece would take her rightful place as queen with the old king and Morning Star being her right and left wings.

*Frozen scales are rare, more so than iced spines.

*Queen-blooded can refer to an individual that is unusually large and strong.

A princess and her knight in pearly armor. Akoya is a Sea-ice hybrid soldier, and recently turned into a siren, so much shorter than most. (Sirens are a fan made seawing subspecies/curse/gift/??? Thingy. Makes them very large and with fancy fins and 4 horns)

While Val is one of many kids of the Siren king Kraken, and just a bit of a fantastical romantic! ;]

Meet Hibernal and Verglas, the Icewings in charge! This is supposed to be from when they were much younger, and were just getting to know one another!

Darkstalker redesign!

Finally I am free from Calculus and can do art.

Anyways the changes from my previous design are small but I think it will help with animating expressions.

I love this art style, it looks like a kid friendly flash game! Very cute. I like this a lot. Have you ever done idle animations for these designs? I can't express enough how much I love this.

Hailstorm!! Because I love him so much and it's about time I do a fullbody design for him. His big brother vibes are the greatest <3

Despite being an IceWing, I think he'd wear a big coat to look cool. Also, I gave him some red spots from Pyrite (he'd only have these after getting transformed back).

Anyways this is my ice/rain wing hybrid. I like the idea of her true feelings/colors being obscured by her icelike scales, but still visible.

She swims too. Just in case you thought you were safe.

Lil guy I made. Been experimenting with icewing designs since the head spines are so difficult. Always trying to make them easier to animate and such.

Don't have a story for this guy, just some good practice. Unfortunately he looks kind of like Rick from Rick and Morty.njust the color scheme.
