Helping Ahmed's Family: Escaping War to a New Life
I am Ahmed Alanqer, a 35-year-old Palestinian man from Gaza. My life revolved around my small family: my wife Dina and our four children: Zeina, Eileen, Yamen, and finally, Ronza, who was born amidst the shelling just a month ago.
My story is a cry from the heart of hell. The war on Gaza began, bringing with it destruction that engulfed everything around us.
Our home, which was our only refuge and safe haven, turned into a pile of rubble. We were forced to flee south in search of safety, but what we found there was even harsher.
In the south, we found only suffering and hardship. No shelter, no water, no food. We moved between Nuseirat and Deir al-Balah, searching for a safe haven for our children, but we found only shelling and destruction. My wife Dina was pregnant, yet we found no hospitals or medical services to monitor her condition. My children fell ill with measles, chickenpox, and hepatitis, with no one to treat them.
My children grow under the scorching sun inside cramped tents, where life forces them to endure intense heat and mosquitoes. Life there is not just life; it's a sea of daily challenges, facing shortages in everything from clean water to basic healthcare.They deserve to be in a safe place, away from the constant fear of airstrikes and harsh weather conditions. They need support and assistance to regain their innocence and live a dignified childhood.
Let's stand by them, support them in every way we can, because helping them today is an investment in their future and ours too.
Life here has become an endless nightmare. I lost my source of income; my job as an accountant and the company I worked for were destroyed, and my recently imported goods vanished under the rubble. We are left without income, without hope, without a future. Each passing day feels like we are inching closer to the abyss.
My goal now is to save my children. I want them to have a better life, where they can go to school, receive medical care, drink clean water, and live in safety. But the cost of travel is exorbitant. $5000 per adult and $2500 per child, and I am unable to secure these amounts.
I reach out to you today, from the depths of my suffering, pleading for help. I know there are those who listen, those who have the power to change things. Your assistance is not just financial support; it is a lifeline for my family, a new hope for innocent children who have known only cruelty in life.

"No Injuries" Deemed the Worst Imaginable News in Gaza
"No Injuries" is a perplexing phrase that emerged during the ongoing genocidal war in Gaza. In the early days of the war when I was in Gaza, multiple friends outside Gaza made Facebook posts about their families that ended with the phrase "No injuries".
Very confused, the first troubling thought that popped up in my head was "Is that good news or bad news?" On face value, it seems like good news, but being a person from Gaza, you know that there is no more devastating and soul-crushing news than "No injuries".
Have you ever experienced transitioning from having a sense of relief followed by extreme shock and heartache just in a few seconds? A few seconds took me to realize that the intended meaning was that every single freaking one was killed in cold blood at the press of a button in the airstrike! Men, women, children! Everyone!!
How does one live after receiving such news? What is the point of living once you lose every single one of your family--parents, brothers, sisters, wife, and children? What kind of dreams do you aspire for? What is the point of getting out of bed in the morning? What is the point of working? What is the point of existing?!
A person has to do whatever it takes to save his/her family. Please help me get my family to safety in Egypt until there is a ceasefire hopefully soon.

I am Mohammed Almanasra, 32 years old, married, and a father of three children: Abdulrahman, 6 years old, Sarah, 4 years old, and Lina, 3 years old.
My story began with the loss of my parents and four of my sisters who were bombed and lost their lives along with their children after the events of October 7 and the severe war on Gaza. Now, my wife, children, and I are displaced, without parents or siblings, living with our little cat that we embrace among us.
Recently, I moved to the south of the Gaza Strip, fearing for the lives of my children. We left behind our memories and our new home, for which we had not finished paying the installments, in addition to losing my job. Currently, I live in a tent that does not protect me from the heat of summer or the cold of winter, and without the minimum necessary livinng basics including water, food medical care, clothe and even bedding .
I suffer from a chronic asthma and severe attacks from tightness and an extreme allergy in the ear and I need medicine that are not available, or very expensive .
Under these difficult circumstances, after five attempts at displacement and narrowly escaping death from the bombing, I am trying with all my might to protect my family, the most precious thing I have.
My dreams were shattered, and my house was destroyed, and I found myself living in a tent no larger than 4 square metres. My work turned from a tailor to a street vendor in order to barely buy a few crumbs of bread to feed my children.
Look at what happened to my children because of the intense heat and the insects that thrive in the summer season. Every day, I take them to the hospital to treat them due to poisonous insect bites. I implore every kind-hearted soul to help me protect my children.
My son, Abdul Rahman, has a deep passion for playing football and is a devoted fan of Real Madrid. He always dreamed of playing football at his school, but the war prevented this dream from coming true.

firstly, it isn’t fair to anyone involved to go into someone’s inbox (me) and talk about someone else (redacted) that’s usually a friend and.. complain? demand answers? try and get us to convince the blocker to unblock you? whatever the motivation is, i don’t feel comfortable with any part of it. you aren’t the first person to do this and only yesterday someone i blocked did this to my friends as well. this trend of going to friends of someone that blocked you isn’t acceptable. i’m asking everyone to stop doing this. don’t come to me with this about other people, i don’t wish to get involved in their choices and their business. don’t come to others about me, they don’t need to get involved in my choices and my business.
secondly, it is very fair. regardless of me being friends with this person (again, i don’t understand why this is what people keep doing when they get blocked) and knowing exactly why they blocked you—even if all the context i had was your message that would still be enough to see how very valid their choice is. even if you said “i didn’t do anything and they blocked me” it would be just as valid. our blogs are ours to curate and use however we want. anyone that decides they don’t want someone interacting with them and seeing their blog for whatever reason has the right to do so. my blog, my rules. we don’t owe explanations for our boundaries and sometimes we don’t say what they are. we don’t owe revealing every personal boundary to others. but in this case it’s not even about unknown lines and/or triggers, it is very well known that nsfw works are not for minors.
if someone wants to put a boundary in place it is completely unacceptable of you to go around to other blogs and push that boundary or question it. even more so when that boundary was explicitly stated multiple times on their blog that minors are not to interact with 18+ content. that is a clear and concise boundary and you crossed it.
the thing that isn’t fair is to test that boundary, apparently you were warned about this too, and then be upset enough to message someone uninvolved (me) when consequences are met. you’ve made someone uncomfortable by ignoring their rules and so they’ve decided to protect themselves legally and mentally and they blocked you.
it’s upsetting for you and i sympathise, but it is fair.
please also consider between what is fair in your eyes and what isn’t, there are feelings involved. they do not feel comfortable with minors interacting with nsfw works.
if you feel my answer is harsh please understand this whole situation of anons going to blogs about getting blocked has made me extremely uncomfy this past week and you’ve struck a chord with me here. this is the first and last time i will entertain these kinds of messages so i’ll ask anyone reading this to refrain from this kind of message to me in the future.

Then the next day Peter Manfredonia, a white armed serial killer who was on the run across 4 states, was caught and arrested peacefully.
And how black and black ally protesters in Minneapolis protesting for the arrest of the officers who killed George Floyd, were attacked by the police. They were peaceful.
But a few weeks ago, white people stormed governments buildings in Michigan protesting the quarantine because they wanted a haircut and the police did nothing to them. They were armed.
The problem is clear as water. WHITE PRIVILEGE AND RACISM. It exists and is real. Deny it? You’re the problem. Don’t say or do anything about it? You’re the problem. Abuse your white privilege? You’re the problem. Don’t see a problem with all this? YOURE THE PROBLEM.

Over the past 10 years, I've worked tirelessly, I've dedicated myself to my family, working hard, planning, building my career. Despite facing challenges, I became a well-known professional engineer in Gaza.
Unfortunately, my life has been upside down since Oct ,Since that particular day, thousands of innocent lives have been lost in Gaza, many of innocent people lost their works and the only source of income like me.
Me and my childrens 1 of them, he is10 years old with downsyndrom and need a safer place and health care to still a live, left our home under the continuous bombardment and artillery strikes, on foot, without carrying with us our personal supplies, clothes, or Even our money, heading from Gaza to Deir al-Balah. There in Deir al-Balah we lived the most difficult days of our lives in a shelter with scarce resources, sleeping on the ground.
Without covers, without drinking a healthy water, then we moved to Khan Yunis after the intensification of the strikes and bombing, Then we moved to Rafah in the hope that we would find safety there or find a way out of Gaza to a safe place that we dream of for the future of our children,Let us live a happy, safe life for us and our children, and keep them away from all this pain, destruction, and siege, and spare them from the miserable future that will await them if the situation continues as it is in Gaza.
I come to you with a heavy heart and an urgent call for help. My family are currently caught in the war in Gaza, facing the harsh reality of an escalating crisis. The situation is dire, and I am reaching out for your support to facilitate their safe passage to Egypt. In this moment of desperation, I share the situation where it has taken a toll on their well-being.
This urgent plea is not only for their safety but also for the health of my son, who is facing serious conditions that demand immediate attention.
My family is trapped in an environment where access to necessary medical care is severely limited. The escalating crisis compounds the urgency, especially considering my son's health conditions. Time is of the essence, and we are in a race against it to get him the vital medication and care he desperately needs.
My loved childrens are in a situation beyond their control. The fear in their eyes and the desperation in their hearts are indescribable. We need the money to cover practical costs of transportation, documentation, a place to stay and shelter in and other essentials required for a safe crossing to Egypt. And so that they can take care of other needs once they cross safely. As of late April the evacuation fee ranges between $8,000 and $10,000 per person, before processing and transport fees, and we will pay the higher end of the range since Hayde doesn't have passport. Me and my family asking for 50,000$ based on the following breakdown: an evacuation fee at the Egyptian border of $8,000 - $10,000 per person , $4500 - $5000 per children as each day there is a different price for evacuation fee at the Egyptian border, plus a processing fee of $2,000 per person, $2,000 for transportation, and a 2.9% commission fee.
Any amount raised beyond the total will be used to supplement me & my family lives as refugees in Egypt. Your donation, no matter how small, will make an impact. You will be contributing to getting my family to safety. The funds will be used transparently and every dollar will go towards securing our evacuation.
