Sharing another older design. X-Key in flight gear, she wears her hair differently with this outfit.The mask for this outfit is also a little different in the final version. Bit of a wip hybrid here. I left the secondary digital shading on the line art to show you guys where it lies in relation to the original regions

Kick, kick, punch, punch! Jonathan practiced animating X-Key’s fighting style with this little cut.

Here’s a bit info about our process: After sketching, Jonathan inks line art and shading over a non photo blue copy of the sketch. Then I split the image digitally into separate layers in photoshop and illustrator.

Found this really cool rough composition of X-Key while looking through our archives!

Lilith takes aim. Sorry for the flickering shadow, I thought it’d look cool at first but I ended up not liking it and when I went back to take it out I found I had closed without saving the project...

DJ Jam! This is concept art for a character from X-Key. I like how she looks even with minimal line art.

Ok I was trying to upload a gif of some vfx I applied to this image Jonathan drew of X-Key in her stealth camo but the gif seems to show up as a still image so until I figure this out I’ll just post the still image.

Edit: Ok it looks like I got it going so hopefuly you can see.
