anywayy, this is Teryx, my stupid gay barbie doll moth oc. I've drawn him like twice, which is the most I've ever drawn one of my characters. ik, kinda sad. I decided to make him a fashion model just so I had the excuse to draw him in any outfit I want. You will be seeing more of him in the future, mark my words
Really wish I tried harder with his clothing design, they all feel kinda flat tbh, especially since a lot of the lighter colors got washed out

Just wanted to share some of my OCs! They're some of my favorite DnD characters I ever played as~

London is a wizard apprentice (and also an EXTREME failgirl) who thinks she's human but she's actually part Hexkin - a race of humanoid arthropods. It's a Jekyll and Hyde kinda situation where at certain moments she loses control of her instincts and transforms into the monstrous moth creature Phobos.
London uses her owl plush to talk to her monstrous self, whom she refers to as her sister. Phobos uses the lil caterpillar plush to talk to London when she's in control

I actually found a weevil in my home once and was shocked how tiny they are. It was still like seeing a celebrity, i was like "OMG is this the bug, the myth, the legend? The snoots and boots insects i`ve been reading about and seeing photos of? In MY house? Visiting ME?" Took some photos and let the lil guy out

Omg these pics are incredible~ god I love mole crickets they have to be one of my favorite bugs out there.
I was soundly defeated by this large Gryllotalpa nymphicus mole cricket I picked up in Singapore. with stunning speed and strength, she deposited a sticky goo on my hands, pried my fingers apart, and gave me a vicious bite before disappearing beneath a pile of rotten wood (where she then posed nicely for photos)
never met a gryllotalpid before, and wasn’t expecting the viscous slime or the bite! I did know they’re incredibly strong though, and this smaller (much less nasty) male seen later displays mole crickets’ beefy digging arms:
the videos I’ve seen of smaller US species just bumbling about and trying to burrow in peoples hands made me expect a charming dirt puppy. the big female ran under my shoe at one point and I could actually feel her lifting me up from the road. I suppose I was trying not to squish her, but still! incredibly powerful beasts
