idk guys. Jay’s scene in Seabound where he almost dies (?) from using his powers at 100% to recharge the submarine’s battery honestly gives me shivers every time I watch it. so I did a sketch based on that scene (BEFORE ANYONE SAYS ANYTHING YEAH I KNOWWW HE WAS WEARING THE WATER SUIT THINGY BUT I DIDNT FEEL LIKE DRAWING THAT OKAY!)
headcanon: some of the many water cups Jay had collected to “talk” to Nya were actually filled up with his tears.
me scarededly checking the ninjago tag bc of spoilers and then getting jumpscared by a leaked clip of jay tripping and falling like an injured dog. I was more scared by actually seeing him with the ponytail, but oh my god. I haven’t even watched it and I am freaking out over him.

I have a LOT of mixed opinions on it…
but..
Jay had his moments in it.. we even got to see him nerding out over a train and so I’m happy nonetheless.

Little guy! Not sure what the total work time on him is but I started him about 2 weeks ago. Head and hands are removable in case I ever wanna make pieces to switch them out with.
He's not perfect, can't even stand on his own, but I think he turned out well.

They try touching him like like giving hugs or head pats cuz their Jay was always physically affectionate only for him to dodge their touches and glare at em
Small lil things he does just reminds them of their Jay, which serves as a painful reminder that even tho he's here, he's still so far away.
