Oh my god, I waited for this issue for MONTHS! I loved how everyone fought over which was the better bromance: DamiDick vs Roydick! Personally I believe the best bros will always be DamiDick, but then again I love Nightwing with everyone!
I knew right away Damian wouldn’t like Roy, lol! AHAHAHAAAA! This little boy hates every redhead that gets close to Dick. He guilt-tripped Barbara, beat up Jason, reminds Kory that Dick ain’t interested in her no more, killed Wally, and now he’s being a little savage towards Roy! AHAHAHAAAA, oh my gaaaawd!
So I made this funny comic of Damian “getting rid” of his competition.
Underneath it are clips from the comics where he was savage to the redheads.

I understand the sentiment a lot because I returned to the DC fandom after a long stay in the WuXia novel one where -for those who know- such a war is unleashed every week because romanticism and ships develop a lot even among members of the same Clan who are not necessarily related to each other but call each other Martial Brother or Marial Sister. I'll let you imagine what happens. I'm generally late in the fandom, until a few years ago I didn't even know that robin was played by different guys - anime was much more popular in Italy during my "formative years" - so sadly for me I've dealt with a lot of idiots who think that the effect -I don't know what it's called exactly- of two people raised under the same roof and by the same people automatically not seeing each other as potential partners applies to everyone who is included in a "Family" and apparently they appreciate more really crazy stuff than two men hurt in different ways and a relationship so complicated that it makes the marriage of Eleanor of Aquitaine and her husband seem calm. The desire to argue with these idiots is great, but every time I take a breath, I count to 10 and then I tell myself these three things: 1) Judge no one, idiots exist from all factions of the fandom and it would be very immature to do the same thing. 2) It will raise your blood pressure unnecessarily, preventing you from enjoying your content in peace. 3) Last, but not least, remember that in the Ao3 relationship filter, the ones that have the most fanfiction are respectively the tags Dick Grayson/Jason Todd and Dick Grayson & Jason Todd. I think that says a lot
PS: I'm a poor multishipper who reads anything out there really well without judgement, if you want to start a war stay away
Fandom these days is wild.
I remember how Jaydick used to be the go to vanilla, childhood-crush-to-lovers soft ship for young, first time shippers that wanted something simple and completely unproblematic.
Now going by the general consensus if you ship Jaydick you're a fucking freak of nature and you should repent or burn in hell.

Nighthood Zine gave me extremely many positive emotions when I brought it home from the post office. @jaydick-week team, artists and authors made their best to bring this piece of art with all various stretch goals into life. Does anyone have the link to that one JayDick fanfic where Jason and Dick have an argument and breakup. Then Jason is bleeding out in an alley and calls Dick one last time to tell him he loves him and that he's sorry he wasn't enough to keep their relationship through everything.
It's basically a dying Jason calling Dick, who's in Bludhaven, one last time to tell him he loves him. He does survive in the end but I have been looking for that fanfic everywhere and can't find it.
