I imagine Leyc's usually the one who comforts Quasar since he's more likely to get night terrors, but Quasar's just as much there for him when he gets them

I've been trying to consept Quasar an updated field outfit

I liked the thought of giving him silly ass pants, quite literally, but then like every person I sent the consepts said the triangle on his jacket looks like a boob window. And well. I lost that battle it seems

I also feel like he needs some sort of face protection, but his tendrils might already be a dead giveaway. But consealing your expressions could prove useful

So we gotta love character trauma

Leyc got tortured, Quasar experienced order 66, Tranyc almost died and lost a sibling figure and Korar snapped to almost no return

Yeah, I might need to stop hitting them with star destroyers

When your future boyfriend decides to shoot his shot at the end of your professional call and ask if he can jump on the ship

Instead of "You look lonely, I can fix that" Leyc probably said "Ey you lonely fucker, want me to join ya this time?" but does it really matter what he says, it's gay anyway

Leyc with a little baby mohawk has me both in a chokehold and dying from laughter

For the sake of the meme we have a colour swapped Numa as a reference because I know I'd get attached to any character I'd make

Anyway, even if Quasar feels too old to have a child, he'd absolutely pic up stary kids if they need help. He's a dad by nature and I find the possible interaction of Korar and Tranyc realising Quasar has taken a kid in his care is very funny (because those two, could not be parents even if they tried, their Tooka cat Edee is proof of that)

I've been trying to figure out what Quasar sounds like and Howl from Howl's moving castle is pretty damn close to what I've been imagining

And so fuck it, this is funny and Leyc's a pretty little boy in Sophie's dress

Aid might have a cute face but he can be a little dim in the head

Then there's also a consept doodle Quasar meeting Aid and Hazard after the war. I feel like they deserve at least some comfort, even if it is just once

Starship consepts!

So here's both Quasar's HWK-290LB (large body) starship and Korar's smaller RZ-1 A wing interceptor

Korar's fighter had a normal paint job but after Leyc got his hands on it, it got a little bit ✨spiced✨ (Korar did not agree to it)

Quasar also gets a heart attack every time he looks at that junk pile, it's living on hopes and prayers and the back of the cockpit is busted. If that welding comes loose, Korar would be toast. He probably stole it originally from some poor soul

Then Quasar's ship :D so the base model is an HWK-290, but it has quite a lot of size variation in canon. Some sources say it's 16m and some say it's 29m. Well I personally need it to be larger and I like this one fan idea that both of them exist and there's just two different standards

And the way to differ between them would be adding that "LB" code to the back of the name. It's also a little wider with than the smaller one

Quasar has moded that thing to hell and back. it's a lot more nimble and reactive than a normal fraiter would be, he's basically made it more similar to how jedi fighters controlled. Only Korar is also allowed to fly it, but only if Quasar is unable to, trust me, it ain't easy

He's painted it with a mirror silver to add more camouflage to it and also has a totally "legal" hyper drive mod installed

Then there's the inside, with the different rooms highlighted

Yeah I don't know why I decided to draw Guru shirtless, probably because I wanted to figure out how scared he is. I'm not sure if he'd be "barely" scared like this, or scared to hell and back

He might have pretty privilege now, but he doesn't have "don't parallel park on me with a star destroyer" privilege

Then there's Leyc, the human garbage waste can. He'll eat anything he's allowed or can get his hands on. Leftovers? Never heard of it

And Quasar experiencing some road rage, I'm surprised I haven't drawn him piloting a ship so the controller could be seen before (the only other time I've drawn him piloting having been that bad batch scene I redrew with him)

I've been struggling with this because to me they all look off model but good enough I guess

Anyway more clones wars era content :D because I love clones >:))

This is an old doodle duo that I decided to finish since it was basically done and only needed to be coloured

There's Korar and Tranyc being an old married couple with trauma and are just arguing (trust me, Quasar will jump in the middle to break it up in just a second)

And then there's a guilty pleasure drawing of Quasar and Mi'var

In one hand I want to parallel park over him with a star destroyer, but in the other I love his design

It's impossible to draw Leyc traditionally, I don't have the necessary colours for his natural hair colour so now he just has short dyed hair

I love how even I can sometimes barely make out what my idea sketches for Quasar are, and then there's the clones

Quasar being a hopeless teen dad during the clone wars.

All he wanted to do was help Zim fall asleep during one of their missions but is unsure how to put her down without waking her up.

So Aid, one of the clones my friend made is actually blind.

We've planned that he might have originally been apart of Pong Krell's clones and was injured in action.

Obviously Krell wouldn't find a blind clone useful and probably the Kaminoan's wouldn't either. But somehow, Quasar would've been in the right place at the right time and asked to see if he could take Aid.

Well obviously sight is a necessity in war, so Quasar does his best to create a snonar system that Aid could use to navigate his surroundings

I really liked this scene in the bad batch and I think they're the perfect fit for this scene

Both Quasar and Korar are used to being the leaders and now that there is someone else just as capable to fill in that role for them it gets a little dicey

When Quasar's the only one repairing the ship I don't think the rest of the crew has a lot of right to complain when they keep breaking it further before Quasar has a chance to fix it

I'm currently brainstorming some ideas for the clones and there is a part of me that wants to kill one of them off before order 66.

The one that's highest on my list is Phoenix, it would be in his character to sacrifice himself for the others, allow for Gear to take his position, show devastation from the others and Quasar's process with grief

It's also not very common that the clone in charge of the battalion dies, since they're seen as a pair with their jedi. So it would also be a little new

The story that could be made from this is limitless, I just really wouldn't want to go and make clones hurt anymore than they already are but my god would it be good

Quasar has some questionable eating habits due to having mainly a carnivore diet, but hey, at least food prep is quick :D the fridge just might be filled with raw meat tho

And would you look at that, Korar's old design, while he was not yet in his revenge arc

Finally decided what to share as a first full artwork and of course it's the meme

It's not even an understatemen that @keep-the-socks-on-karta 's characters Korar and Tranyc help Quasar and Leyc get back together. Gays supporting gays

And then there's their Tooka cat named Edee and Bucket as moral support

And because I have more characters to share, have more >:)

I wanted to create some sort of history at least relationship wise for Quasar and Leyc, since their current love life was and still kind of is messy.

For Quasar he didn't really have anything too serious going on before, he might have even thought that "falling in love" was just something people came up with, since he hadn't really experienced something like it before.

His longest thing was a coworkers with benefits with a Twi'lek smuggler named Mi'var, before Leyc that is

Leyc on the other hand went through a handful of short lived relationships before bumping into Quasar, and was unfortunately left longing for him even after Quasar dissappeared.

He got into a few not that great relationships after it, the main one being a togruta named Gurmenas or as he tried to call "Guru" who didn't appreciate it

I rarely find myself drawing Quasar back in his jedi days, but sometimes I need to draw something related to it because let's be honest, even if he was a child soldier, that was most likely the happiest time in his life

And of course I need to have Quasar sulking in the corner and posing like the hot fish he is

Here's some other background characters I've made for Quasar back when he was still a knight of the republic

The blue mikkian child is Zim Kilan, Quasar's first and only padawan. Quasar's took her under his care at the ripe old age of about 17

Zim is very chaotic and fun loving, quite the change from Quasar who at the time was very much of a rule follower, and one of the youngest knights in a few decades.

My plans for her are a little unsure, I know that she "dies" at the end of the war. Weather that means literally or figuratively is still undecided

I only own Phoenix, Gear and Kelp. Hazard And Aid are the creations of a friend of mine, but she doesn't have a tumblr so :((

I think the pictures do a pretty good job at convicting their personalities and I'm in love with them. They such idiots

They're very new, so they're still a little bit in the works

Here's my oc Quasar Dess. He's a nautolan jedi knight, or at least was formerly before the empire. Currently he more of a smuggler/engineer, but may also dabble in mercenary work every now and again.

I have a head cannon that he worked with the hidden path, but there's very little that we know about it currently in non legends material

He's a decently calm and collected individual and usually keeps to himself.

Another repost from my instagram, my star wars fan character, Ka'am (she/her) in a chibi-esque style (plus an alt version... idk I was experimenting). She had a habit of holding her light saber with her pinky out and saber backwards, but I had forgotten to draw her pinky out in this piece.

Drawings of my SW fan characters.

Ka'am (she/her) with Ahma (they/them), whom she called mentor.

Ahma is a togruta oc, who did die during Order 66. They have been redesigned a few times now, but nothing too drastic. This will probably be the only post about them, since I mostly drew Ka'am and Sib.

Second set of drawings are practices and warm ups I did using Ka'am. I used photod of professional ice skaters and tennis players for references.

Dates: Dec 3 and 15, 2022.

A little out of order, but some refs for my SW ocs.

Sib's ref date: Oct. 20th, 2022.

Ka'am's ref date: Nov. 4th, 2022.

The last one was a redesign ref I did for Jaemi, but never posted on instagram, since I was inactive at that time. The date for it is Oct. 9th, 2023. You can see several older art on the side of this ref, that I used to make sure I stayed true to her character. The last two armor drawings are still relevant and used when drawing her. Of course, I gave her a giant hammer.

I sadly have not drawn any of these fan characters recently, rip. They all go by she/her pronouns. Ka'am and Jaemi are roughly the same age, and if I am remembering correctly... Sib is like 6 or 8 years old in her ref.
