I think it’s funny how grian finds Jimmy intimidating it reminds me of the video where grian says that he thought jimmy was cool but then after getting to know him he realized that he’s a loser so maybe that’s what will happen here once grian sees how much of a loser Jimmy is he will wonder why he ever thought differently

Gemcyt weapon headcanons

Lizzie has a whip that she wears around her waist and it looks like a cat tail 

Joel has Roman Gladius sword that shoots lightning like how in canon pearl can shoot a laser out of her spear and of course he can make clones of him self that can also wield a sword once he gives one to them

Jimmy has a giant shield like captain America but it’s shaped like an uno card he has a hard time lugging it around so he usually resorts to water manipulation which he is also very bad at 

Scott has a rapier that can freeze stuff with a gem stone that can change shades of blue 

Grian can make little bombs and big bombs 

Etho has ninja stars

Ren has claws

Pearl has an edgy scythe 

And Scar has a gun 

One of my favorite things in Steven Universe is fusion and my favorite part of fusion is the contrasting unique dance styles of the characters

so here is what I think the gemcyt characters individual styles are

Jimmy I don’t know the style but he has a lot of leg movements and kicks as a reference to his irl love of football 

Grian his style is disco because he had a hippie theme that one time and disco was around during that Time period also he uses that finger to the sky move to poke his partner because he is a little gremlin 

Joel does ballet like the pearls in cannon but even though he is not the shortest in this au he still over compensates by puffing out his chest like a peacock and he is on his tippy toes as much as possible and jumps into the air very often 

Lizzie Hula dancing because her design is based heavily on empires season one lizzie the ocean queen she takes inspiration from island dancing 

Cleo has very stiff movement because she is zombie Cleo and she dances like Michael Jackson in the thriller music video and she dances walk like an Egyptian because mummy’s are Kinda like zombies

Scott does not use his feet because as a sapphire floats and he does not use his legs he spins a lot and he has a very old Scottish style because he is Scottish 

Skizz dances like the prince from Cinderella because he is a prince amongst men 

Jimmy in the gemcyt au is off color

We all know about the canary curse and how Jimmy always dies first well my idea on how to transfer that into a gem au is instead of dying the most he poofs the most 

His form is very breakable so something that other gem’s would be able to power through like a very hard punch could make him retreat into his gem instantly

He would also not be able to keep his form after being stabbed like bismuth during the breakin point fight or Pearl during sword training 

His defective programming is so unnoticeable that he was in denial about it for a very long time and didn’t realize he was an off color until way later 

Sometimes the defective coding that causes his form to be so week will fail completely making him poof at a random time with out an external reason

When he reforms he becomes a shining target because it is literally a full minute of him cycling through all his many many past forms  

this is base off of the gemcyt au from @chrisrin and @cherrifire

My headcanon for the fusion between Jimmy and grian is that they are only able to fuse when they are flying together because it is the only time where they are in sink enough to fuse 

at any other time their fusion dance would result in a being to unstable to function but their shared love of flight is something they have in common and it is what unites them 

I love the idea of them doing a fusion dance in the sky because they are two of the only three in the cast that can fly and thus are the few that can fuse like that 

Also Because of this Whenever the bad boys all fuse grian and jimmy have to go up and fuse first then their fusion goes back down to fuse with Joel who can’t fly

jimmy as a siren, but like a greek mythology siren with wings instead of a mermaid type siren.

Ken jimmy is just a fusion of badboy jimmy and sheriff jimmy

Imagine what there fusion dance looked like(Steven universe reference alert)

I can’t help but think about princess bubblegum and marceline when I think about Jimmy and fWhip “I’m your forever problem” “ I just your problem” also the break up song woke up is perfectly emotional and sad and petty it just fits so well

Remember when Joel dressed up as ken for the Halloween party in tumble town and now Jimmy is also dressed as ken in new life 

they really do match but this time they probably didn’t plan it ahead of time 

My headcanons fallowing jimmy’s last episode

The entire time jimmy has been 15 and hit puberty very late just at the end that is why he jumped at the chance to have a mentor

also explains his rivalry with Joel in Greek myths gods are rather immature something about having enough power to do what ever you want with no consequences makes gods act like hormonal teens 

I think this jimmy is evo Jimmy

Jimmy was a 14 year old freshman and grian was 19 a senior that was held back a year 

It has been a year since evo ended so grian is 20 and Jimmy is 15 which makes his later bullying of Jimmy hilarious because he’s a young adult picking on a teenager 

He is the old sheriffs son I know the time is off because the old sheriffs said he was down there for thirty years but the only reason he knew that that was because he added 10 years for each chicken that died but chickens live 5-10 years so what if all the three chickens only lived 5 years each that would put him in there for 15 years

Just after his youngest son was born 

I think the sheriff might have suspected it due to his repeated statements that Jimmy is tiny and has wings like a fairy because jimmy’s mom is a fae 

The sheriff and jimmy’s mom met in the town because that area was always a hotspot for fae activity

The reason the sheriff didn’t leave his wife even though he didn’t want to be married is because she was a fae and was scared he would be cursed if he angered her and that is also why he started drinking 

S1 esmp codlands world building headcanon

The cod lands value their alliances and are known to take inspiration from other cultures its not as though they don’t have any original traditions but a good few of them are a direct result of them putting their own spin on foreign cultures and imports from all over the world 

The most well known example is the cod folks famous wood carvings the story goes a long time ago there was a young codish traveler who had stopped to stay the night in a mezalian inn while wondering the streets he could not help but admire the buildings he loved how symmetrical and perfectly placed the tiles were and it stuck with him 

when he returned home he tried to recreate what he saw but he didn’t have the materials needed for it and he realized very quickly that he should have asked how it was made when he was there but hindsight is twenty twenty and he still wanted to try so he decided to ditch the colors and clay he focused on his favorite part 

He went out side and picked up some tree bark he got a knife and scratched the same patterns the tiles were laid out in mezalia on the wood but smaller it was mess but he liked so he kept doing it when ever he got home from his travels he would sit down and carve patterns into the wood as time went on his work got neater and thought it was not as colorful as the tiles they were based on they focused more on little details they became beautiful and when he got old and settled down he started selling his work in the market soon enough it caught on and more people started carving wood for art rather than for utensils and weapons 

Lots of Time has passed since then and along the way it even picked up some religious significance when children reached a certain age they carve a special bead to mark the day they took the oath to protect all cod it’s like a baptism or bat/bar mitzvah there guardian weaves the child a necklace to put the bead on and from then on when ever something significant happens they make another bead to put on the necklace but they only wear it for special occasions these things are so important to a person they never wear them casually and are heavy protected when someone dies they’re beads are hung in a mini cemetery that each family has because you can’t bury someone in a muddy swamp like you could in a dirt field 

The cod father head is very special because when ever a cod father is introduced they create a bead but it doesn’t go on their necklace it goes on the cod father head alongside the beads of the past cod fathers unlike necklaces that are only worn sparingly the cod father head is to be worn every day to symbolize the cod fathers never ending responsibility to protect the legacy of the cod empire a constant reminder of the past present and future generations the cod fathers have to maintain it’s a lot of pressure and needless to say if a cod father were to loose the head or cod forbid have it be destroyed while in their hands well that would be blasphemy 

but in the present long after the man died the art style he fathered keeps evolving with every new artist it gets further away from the tiles and became it’s own thing a art style that is unmistakably a art unique to the cod lands

So my idea for The guide Jimmy is that all the one that summons him has to do is tell him where they need to go or what they need to find and then he will enter a trance and slowly make his way straight towards it and he will not stop 

That is the hard part they have to not lose track of him and keep any mobs or traps from getting to him because he won’t be able to move out of the way and they have to be patient with him because he moves at an agonizingly slow pace even if something is chasing them and they can’t wake him because if they disturb him to much he’ll snap out of the trance and he’s only able to do it once per summoner 

Also if anyone gets frustrated enough and starts yelling at Jimmy to move faster or insults him they get a penalty it’s not a game over but it’s a warning

It’s an annoying escort mission for the summoner but to us its something else entirely

Idk if you do art requests at all or whatever this is but what do you think Jimmy would wear if he lived in the Citadel? (Or whatever Tangos mega(?) Base was called)

Perhaps, sometimes, you can find a special card that summons the Dungeon Guide, who makes navigating a bit easier and more pleasant. Just don't let him die or your clank will max out and all doors will close.

fem jimmy headcanon

My idea for female s2 Jimmy is not a sheriff but a southern belle with gaudy ruffled dresses so Instead of hat and badge it’s a bonnet and brooch instead of being called woody she is called Barbie she wants to be a respected high society lady but the thin mask of elegance falls when she’s pranked (which happens a lot)and she rages those pranks include

the town being painted pink

A potion that temporarily dyed her hair

a giant neon pink Plastic mansion being built on her land

and having a plastic doll of her sold

her horse is named skipper a reference to barbies little sister and her ally is called bibble a character from the movies or midge Barbies bestfriend

She demands respect and authority and strict obedience to the laws she puts in place and honesty she is just as much a pathetic wetcat as the sheriff other than gender the main difference is how they want people to see them

I just realized the taxidermy harpy Jimmy design could be made even more interesting if his mouth was stitched shut and had buttons for eyes like a creepy doll as a reference to the jimmy is a listener/watcher headcanons

Badboys soul eater au

Joel is a small short range hunting knife. a brutal close quarters weapon that always results in The users hands getting bloodied but etho wields him like a ninja would a throwing knife because he looks like kakashi who is a ninja. somehow this actually works out for them 

Jimmy is a chain whip with a lantern that has a flame in it that loudly explodes everything it touches as a result every person that has ever partnered with him has run for the hills the moment they realized how dangerous it is to control and others that already know dread having to work with such a destructive weapon. even his friends don’t want the potential catastrophe that could result except for tango who loves explosions and thinks the chains give him a fabulous aesthetic 

Grian is a bow and arrow not just the bow but also the arrows if scar shoots an arrow as far as he can then grian will be able to tell him where it landed and what is happening in the area. The bow materializes a new arrow when ever an arrow has been shot so scar can shoot multiple arrows that land in many different locations but Grian can’t be everywhere at once so he can only choose to be present at one location so when ever he transfers his consciousness to a single arrow he has to leave scar unattended as you can imagine he doesn’t like doing this 

On one of the many misadventure the bad boys had while they were traveling jimmy was taken by a cyclops. Joel wanted to run in and send the cyclops back to Tartarus on the spot but grian didn’t feel like dying that day and thought that it would be a better idea for him to distract the cyclops. so it was decided when the cyclops was busy with grian joel could sneak past and grab jimmy so they could all leave without being maimed.

And So it began grian put on a dress and for the rest of the rescue mission told Joel to only refer to him as Ariana Griande (he didn’t need to do this)

The two separated joel snuck towards jimmy while Ariana Griande taunted the cyclops into following him somewhere else but unfortunately Ariana Griande ran into a wall literally 

Fortunately there happened to be a hunter of Artemis nearby named Pearl. She helped the demigod by killing the cyclops that had cornered him. after the bad boys regrouped and things calmed down they got to talking she was a bit behind the times and didn’t get the reference so she tried to recruit Ariana Griande but when she found out the truth she backed off 

they left on good terms and it was during this enlightening conversation that the bad boys found out why they were being hunted by monsters nobody else could see and that they were demigods

please tell me more of your bad boys demigod au ???? its so good :D

I have not worked out how they met but I have thought of the ages they were when it happened

Jimmy and joel met first like in cannon they were the first bad boys 

Irl Jimmy is 26 Joel is 29 and grian is also 29 in the au they are aged down but have the same age gap 

Jimmy was 7 and joel was 10 and both of them had recently ran away when they ran into each other and decided to stick together 

Grian joined them a year later when he and joel were 11 and jimmy was 8

Grian actually ran away at 9 years old and didn’t start traveling with them until he was 11 which means he was on his own for 2 years before joining the bad boys and as a result knows what he’s doing more than the other two 

Bad boys pjo au

Jimmy is a child of poseidon and Lizzie is a child of Neptune because seablings. they have the same mortal mother like Jason and Thalia. they were separated at a young age similar to s1 empires canon but lizzie still remembers Jimmy while jimmy does not remember Lizzie because he was so young when they were split. There mom was good she loved them but they never new her because she got sick and died not long after jimmy was born. Lizzie felt responsible for her brother and when she got older she became aware of the monsters. She pieced together a theory she thought that the monsters were targeting her and while that was true she didn’t realize that they were after jimmy as well and she left to protect him 

Grian is a very mischievous child of Hermes. when his dad left his mom she broke down and became depressed these feelings led her to join a sketchy cult. grian was raised in this very restrictive environment but at a young age he knew he wanted get out and travel. as a child of Hermes he couldn’t stand to be stuck in one place for so long. like many Hermes kids he was a prankster and he got into a whole lot of trouble when ever he’d put his devious plans in place. He doesn’t hate his mom or dad but he tries not too think of them and tries to pretend they don’t exist. He ran away when he was super young and has never looked back 

Joel is a son of Demeter his father was a farmer until he happened across a whole lot of money and he moved them to the city. his father spoiled him with their new found wealth making it so joel grew to have a very expensive taste but Joel still missed the plants and nature so he started painting beautiful landscapes. like his father joel has a tendency to let power go to his head. Eventually the money ran out and they became homeless. Joel’s father kept spending money they didn’t have sending them into debt and joel grew to resent his dad. Like his mother joel has very extreme emotional reactions and when he or someone he likes is wronged he takes revenge. weather it’s pranks or competitions joel doesn’t do things in half’s 

like Thalia Luke and Annabeth they ran away young and found each other before making it to camp

I think in lore there’s a reason behind why jimmy’s final death in limited life was due to falling from the sky

The watchers were extra pissed at him for trying to defy them so they made it so jimmy an avian with the canary curse who they made unable to use his wings for the game fell from the sky 

They killed him in a way he would have been able to avoid without there involvement they also found it fitting for someone who had a curse named after a bird died in a way that reminded him of birds it was them rubbing salt in the wound

Jimmy was like Icarus he tried to defy the watchers and because he got so confident and careless he fell

He reached for the sky but it was all for nothing

Like the flock in cannon they named them selves

grian called himself pesky because that’s what the scientists called him do to him being the most difficult to control

Pearl was fade or shadow or something if anyone has a suggestion for it please share anyway it didn’t last long before she decided to change it to pearl but the reason for her original name was because when ever the scientists would talk about her power they would mention how she would blend into the background

Jimmy was canary because they didn’t have anything to really say about his personality and power because he was like 5 or something he didn’t have fleshed out a personality yet and even though he was the youngest which did cause him to be difficult he wasn’t as difficult as grian and he also didn’t have powers yet so the others called him by the bird the scientist said when they talked about his wings

martyn was similar there wasn’t anything that stood out other then what bird he was so his family called him wood because he has the wings of a wood pecker

after they escaped they chose new names that would allow them to blend in for and help keep the scientists from finding them

pearls the only one that kept her name it was passable as a name a normal girl would have at birth the reason she’s named pearl was because one of her only happy memories that didn’t involve her siblings in the lab was when she asked this janitor lady about some jewelry she was wearing and the lady told her about where she got it she probably got it as a gift and it wasn’t even a real pearl but that janitor gave her proof that there was a world outside the lab filled with gift giving people like the janitor

I love the bad boys and how they tell everyone that they’re bad boys but end up coming across as trying to hard and i already have ideas to start I’m imagining them as going over the top with the bad boy image they what so they dress in over the top edgy bad boy clothes 

Joel street punk/rocker wearing a leather jacket with a lot of spikes and pockets also cool sunglasses “given” to him by bdubs which bdubs got from gems sun cult also baggy pants that are just jimmys that he unnecessarily knifed in front of him for fun saying it was for style 

Inspiration Danny from grease and Sam from Danny phantom 

Jimmy pastel goth/scene kid he dyed his hair neon blue because I saw a picture of him with blue hair and he asked Scott for the teal dye he wears fingerless gloves that he cut himself he’s very proud of that and skinny jeans which are just Joel’s but they don’t fit and on his fist are truly a absurd number of bracelets

Grian he chose Victorian goth/steam punk but he didn’t feel like going out of his way so he got some suspenders and a ruffled shirt also stole scars top hat and some inventor goggles he swiped from a hermit because there is no shortage of mad scientist types on hermit craft and he called it a day

Does anyone else notice how in empires Jimmy always gets really attached to objects like every one has an animal or thing they would start and escalate conflicts for but jimmy’s attachment to his things is on a way higher level than the rest

maybe the reason he’s so much more willing to do all that is because his objects are taken and made fun of more than anyone else’s so he gets really defensive and he has a habit of putting all his power and identity into one or two items usually one being a hat which makes people want to steal it even more

so Jimmy never truly cracks but it’s always the cat that makes him lose his mind so my prediction is that Jimmy loses the sheriff hat he will end the world again and then season two will start

I propose a new curse idea in empires called the curse of the mesa any empire that is located in that biome will have an emperor that is doomed to go insane and is associated with themes of delusions and denial there death will be the same as the ones before them they will die of heart break

So I remember it was said somewhere that the emperor’s are people that devoted themselves to the land and in return the land made it so they had infinite lives and the ability to build and had access to big portable inventories and could directly contact the other emperor’s it makes so much sense it explains why a lot of the emperor’s aren’t even rulers 

This makes me interested in jimmy who is a sheriff of a town with no citizens but still was made the emperor and maintains the land even Though when you think about it he seems like a questionable choice for emperor so i wonder what the requirements are 

when jimmy took a bed out of his inventory the old sheriff was shocked and asked where it came from that combined with his being trapped for so long when he could have just made himself loose his hearts and respawn somewhere else makes me think he wasn’t a emperor 

The lack of clarity on the requirements makes me worried for jimmy he has Terrible diplomatic relations with the other empires and that might have been ok if the reason for it was to focus on other things in tumble town that took priority but instead The reason is he’s getting into disagreements and making enemies he is doing worse than nothing he is hindering the advancement of The land setting them back and adding to that most of the stuff in town wasn’t even built by him and building from what I can gather is one of the most important responsibilities of an emperor 

I think in the eyes of the semi sentient mesa he’s hanging by a thread his being the only person who lives there and his absolute devotion to tumble town is probably the only reason he’s still got the connection 

Going back to what I said about the old sheriff since he wasn’t an emperor then that must mean that the land didn’t approve of his very questionable methods and those are the same questionable methods he advised Jimmy to use and jimmy has taken the lessons to heart we know he is going to implement those methods and that just might be the straw that breaks the camels back 

My prediction is that this storyline is leading up to the end of season 2 season 1 ended when jimmy accidentally caused the destruction of most of the empires including his own which resulted in him loosing his title so In contrast season 2 jimmy will lose his title and lose his mind as a result he will rage and seek revenge to focused on his plan to destroy the other empires that he doesn’t think about what happens after he succeeds so this time he intentionally causes the destruction of the empires and like last time lives to regret it 

bonus points if fwhip also plays a part like in season 1 it would make sense for fwhip to be there because he and jimmy’s stories this season are so intertwined just like before

I feel bad for the sheriff and the codfather and whoever comes next the pattern has made it’s self known even in empires a smp where no one gets a permanent happy ending and each season ends in tragedy only to be reborn and repeated again and again it’s jimmy that gets the short end of the stick doomed to end the world and start off the next season

I find it sad how in every series jimmy has taken part in he gains a buddy but he always looses him and it’s saying something that in rats and empires season 2 the ones where he isn’t in a duo those are where he is the most unstable

martyn in evo joel in empires season 1 Scott in third life and tango in double life you can put fwhip in the list if your not just counting relationships that are from other series but really you can add every one that comes into contact with him

we joke about how he has so many boyfriends even though he is pathetic but thinking about that lore wise tango is the only one that hasn’t switched from a positive relationship to it’s complicated it must be so confusing to be so close to someone then suddenly lose the bond you thought was unbreable

maybe Jimmy doesn’t want respect maybe what he really wants is unconditional love
