Arthur's eyes are fully golden and tearful. threads still surround Arthur and John. the witch, an older women dressed in furs and a tattered dress, holds a bloody knife and looks up at John unimpressed.

@horseboneologist gave me a list of prompts involving Hastur, on of which was “Hastur threatening John” and I like torturing my favorites. Poor John… 😘

Playing with a redesign to incorporate the pallid mask and a more fleshy look that I’ve been wanting to do for a while. Of course I see all of the eldritch creatures/entities as more fluid and not really locked into how they appear, so I’m having fun being inconsistent with how I draw Hastur and his fragments lol

One of the best posts I've come across describing John and Arthur's relationship said "not romantic, not platonic, but a secret third thing (drawn on the same layer)" and it was the most accurate thing I've ever read. With that concept in mind, today I drew them in the same line.

we talked about john wearing lipstick and leaving a kissy mark on arthur's forehead - he probably got the idea from a movie watching the female lead leave a lipstick mark on the male lead (i think he would get many ideas about how humans act from movies 🤭)((i also think he enjoys embarrassing arthur above anything else))

In the second sketch, Arthur looks blankly forward with a large blush on his face, up to his ears, and a prominent red lipstick mark on his forehead. My two favorite parts of this episode were “John gets to experience a human connection” and “Arthur curb stomps a guy just to prove he can, probably.”

The folds of John's cloak are translucent over the arm they share. In the second drawing, John has tipped Arthur's head back further, and is pressing against him harder. Arthur's mouth is open, as is John's, revealing more sharp teeth. Arthur pulls the hand closer by the wrist.

The final drawing shows John's design as a full body, alongside a design of Yellow. In this one, John's hand is his own, and he holds it to his chest. The base of his robe separates into tentacle-like strips of fabric. Yellow is a similarly humanoid figure with a yellow hood, but his mask is the opposite side of John's, diagonally split just the same. Beneath Yellow's mask, we see a burning yellow eye, and his mouth under the chin of the mask, open in a snarl. Yellow is smaller than John, the end of his cloak appears to have been torn apart.
