Heya, people of the Cyberpunk modding community, it’s your girl again...
I’ve been having this issue for a while, but I don’t know how to resolve it. See this picture above? Yeah, that’s my female V being swapped with Alt, I’m sure you’ve seen plenty of people screenshotting/GIFfing this part.
So you can see my problem here. The clipping/glitching hair which ruins the mood 100%. The hair is a mod, I dunno if that’s the reason behind the glitch.
I also used to have the invisible V swap problem, but I found a mod to resolve it, but now I have this little problem, which I would very much have some help on, if there’s even someone who reads this.
So, if anyone has some knowledge and feels like being generous, please help T_T

Do you think there is a way to mod Johnny’s hair to be his canon blonde hair? Like, I wanna keep Keanu’s style, length and all, just... make it blonde...

How do people do the model swap to Johnny now for screenshots?? Like I use Appearance Mod Menu, but there is no model swap option to Johnny?? Am I missing something?? What did I miss???
Am I crazy for making Johnny Silverhand’s Natal Chart? Yes, yes I am.
Does it completely work though? Yes, it does.
Now I have some idea on what to base my writings if I ever do write my damn story.
Apparently in lore; Johnny use to buy old warehouses and convert them into lofts (though some still didnt have like electric and stuff) and rent them out dirt cheap to artists to have a roof over their head, a place to hang out together, and room to play. It was called Silverhand Studios.

Had that idea too when pondering the meaning of the name "Soulkiller". It made more sense to me that way, punishing by killing someone slowly, implanting someone else into their head than simply putting them into code, basically keeping them alive forever 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

AU Where it's 2023 after the nuke of the Arasaka Tower and Johnny being captured; he is instead forced to receive a relic where a terrifying mercenary(V) "consciousness" is stocked in; and then he is left almost dying in the streets, and is thankfully saved by Kerry.
And now he have to find something, anything, to save his ass before the well-known merc take his body and eat his brain.
That, my friend, is why modding is such a HUGE part of gaming, because omg my heart just stopped from a FUCKING CAMERA ANGLE CHANGE!!!!! I would guess it comes from the 3rd person camera mod, but fuck me... damn...

Ahhh thank you so much! <3 I'm really glad you like it! I enjoy drawing Johnny, especially his eyes. But my biggest problem is with his hair, I still don't fully understand how it should look haha. In fact, this message was my excuse for a quick doodle of him xD
Hi, I just wanted to add that you have two shards ports behind your right ear, so technically that explains why you can still use shards while in game, even with Johnny’s Relic. You simply use another one.
So technically you could probably use the two ports to do the switch, like once V’s Relic is done and stable, you could remove Johnny’s.
However, just wanna remind that Alt was constantly battling off NetWatch when she was taking control of Arasaka’s building, so take that as you will :) Maybe she can split her attention to also make another Relic, maybe not and that would be why that option was not one, who knows!
not to beat a dead horse about the ending but if the issue is that the relic is too damaged to repair v: you literally have blueprints of the relic. alt has control of the manufacturing floor of the arasaka building. and you’re putting data shards in your neural port throughout the game, so clearly the port is not that damaged.
like you make a huge deal of getting these blueprints and then they never?? really?? come up again.
just make a new relic, put v on it, put the relic with v into v, let it repair v’s brain with v’s engram.
like alt? alt. alt you literally created the soulkiller why did you not think of this.
bonus round: all the disparate parts of a human being have been synthesized at this point. why can’t they put Johnny on a new relic (again, you literally do have the means to make a new one), and store him in a closet or some shit until you can hire a ripperdoc to make him a new body? viktor literally says you can do that in the start of the game.

For someone who is supposedly very “punk”, Johnny doesn’t have much piercings...
Do you think he’s scared of needles, hence why he goes for jewelry like necklaces and rings?
Or maybe he does have piercings... just hidden under his shirt on in his pants...

My good thirsty friends of Johnny Silverhand, I need your help with something!
I have played the game, finished it, went through many endings, but as I was daydreaming about Johnny as usual, I came across a question that I could not answer and hope some of you could:
Do we ever hear Johnny laugh during the game? Not a sarcastic laugh, but a real chuckle, or genuine laugh of happiness??
I cannot remember for the life of me... But I have a mighty need!!

Oh, no, don’t mind me, just looking up what Keanu Reeves looked like when he was 32 (in ~1996-97) so I can have an idea what Johnny Silverhand would look like if he wasn’t mocapped by Keanu during his 50s...
Realiazing it’s during the days of Chain Reaction(1996) and The Devil’s Advocate(1997) and having an heart attack now understanding why Johnny Silverhand could pull off so much pussy.
Ahhhh, yeah, I see your point. Forgot that Alt's AI in the game tells you that technically Johnny altered his memories to make him the hero (lol, my lovely narcissistic bitch <3), so it was indeed Militech that planned the raid.
Yet I still stand that Johnny should be canonicly (is that even a word) older, still.

The lore doesn’t make any sense to me regarding the timeline…
Johnny was born in 1988, he was part of the Second Central American War, which supposedly began on January 13th, 2003, so Johnny would have been 15 at the time. Which is impossible as the youngest a man can go to war is 17 with parents consent, 18 without. So technically Johnny would have gone in minimum 2005. Which would be technically alright as the war lasted until 2010.
HOWEVER, Johnny supposedly FORMED Samurai in 2003 with the others AFTER he went to war, as we are made to also believe that he formed the band to revolt against the corporations he hated since the war.
So you’re telling me young Johnny at age 15 had already went to war and wanted to burn everything down??? I mean, fucking hell, same, honestly, but it makes me think that he should have been older in the lore. (I mean, with even looking specifically at the visual in the game, Keanu/Johnny doesn’t look like a 32 years old man, more like a 40ish y/o man)
ALSO, you’re telling me that Johnny fucking waited 10 YEARS to make a move on Arasaka after they took Alt??? Alt was taken in 2013, Johnny raided Arasaka Tower in 2023 (which is both shown in the game AND the Cyberpunk 2020 sourcebook). WTF DUDE, 1 year I would concede, but 10 fucking whole years?? What took you so long??? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

About loving Johnny
I have a hard time accepting the fact that most of us playing Cyberpunk 2077 are simply falling in love with a bunch of data from a chip.
Taken directly from Johnny Silverhand’s Cyberpunk Wiki page (spoiler ahead): “Depending on the dialogue choices the player makes in Cyberpunk 2077, they can either make Johnny's engram admit he's nothing but data or give him a sense of humanity. If Johnny is treated like nothing but data, he will admit his nature is to inspire rebellion within V and to honor the real Johnny Silverhand's final wish while he returns with the image of Alt Cunningham through the Blackwall.”
He can admit he is nothing but codes, but the player is the one who gave him so much humanity.
It fucks with my mind so much. I can not stop thinking about how much it gives off a feeling about V, us, feeling lonely in this hardship, so they decide to make it seems not as lonely. This game can be taken apart of so many levels, there is so much complexity when you think about it... Psychology, philosophy, sociology, literature... This game could have been such a masterpiece, (it is one in my mind despite the critics) but it took such a beating because the game was rushed, people were getting too impatient of waiting...
