Hanako-san, Hanako-san, are you there? Yugi Amane calls upon the supernatural to help uncover the truth behind his twin brother’s reappearance. Who awaited him behind the third stall was not what he was expecting—neither was their most treasured possession. OR: Akane Aoi deals with being School Mystery Number Seven while balancing her new assistant and various threats to the school. It’s not going smoothly. Amane & Aoi-centric ♡

School Mysteries normally hide their presences from the humans of Kamome Academy, but exceptions must be made only if to keep their rumors alive—or, at the very least, that was what Hanako-san of the Toilet was supposed to do—because said humans seem to be noticing a certain daikon more lately, and he finds he doesn’t like it. Not at all. Just a bit of playing around would drive them away, right? However, if they don’t learn to keep their hands off his property, they shall have to face the consequences a School Mystery can serve. OR: nene is hanako’s and he makes sure everyone knows it. (badass) hanako moments are needed in this time (*stares at manga*)

adding on:

natalie & sakura forming the tired assistants club and sakura shares tea. she swears not to tell anyone about mayura, but tsukasa finds out somehow(???), steals it, turns mitsuba’s scarf into a sentimonster and there’s an entire episode of the heroes trying desperately to defeat someone that’s wayyyyyyy more experienced than them at fighting (it ends with sakura taking over as hawkmoth with the name 'actias luna' and tsukasa just handing over the peacock miraculous to the heroes. hawkmoth is sure very mad after that)

we have LEMON AND ALYA as part of the school’s media team or something. and sousuke actually joined them for photography at one point, but... yk

nino & lemon would totally vibe. in agreement.

imagine marinette falls in love with teru. he’s like a more polished version of adrien, child labor backstory and alllllll

it’s either marinette & nene team up to help each other with their crushes OR they realize that it could be a competition (albeit they’re very friendly about it.)

IMAGINE. and there’s also a possibility of a miraculous au with aoi as ladybug & teru as chat noir... + luka as akane would be so nice

hanako would hate adrien for being the source of nene’s new crush, so watch adrien slowly get convinced he’s haunted (he’s right)

AOI, KAGAMI, TERU. with 'let it go' as their theme song, specifically the 'don't let them in, don't let them see', they are the perfect children of their families, two of them swordfighters, all of them honed liars!!! i headcanon they all cover for each other, even aoi

alix, akane, luka, timekeepers!!! + i bet rose & juleka would absolutely love babysitting mirai even if she’s a handful

so... the yugi twins.

i found out today that some people consider amane the moon & tsukasa the sun (me included-ish) but some say the opposite? can we settle this- opinions under the cut!

we all know amane’s irises are supposed to be the moon, but personally i feel tsukasa’s eyes look like a very smol lunar eclipse, so the sun seems like a really nice choice for him (note the yellow donut he makes in his eyes. my beloved evil baby)

and i genuinely do feel that their personalities do match, up to their deaths. tsukasa shines really brightly and had many friends, amane stayed secluded and draws from tsukasa for most things (eg the moon reflecting the sun’s light!)

also, tsukasa’s kokujoudai tend to have a habit of bursting into flame (wait actually tsukasa kind of also burst into flame)

they’re like little phoenixes. i love them so much

anyways i want yall to know that no matter what ur opinion matters so

keep sharing it!! tysm for being here~

it’s 1am. let’s see what my adhd riddled sleep deprived jshk obsessed brain has to offer us today. expect nothing, i don’t make sense at this hour i might make this a daily thing, because my insomnia will keep me up anyways and it’s interesting what i do at night… summary: mostly just me ranting about today. and my crippling sense of self

i just cried for like half a minute and it was absolutely wonderful. highly recommend. at least an eleventh of my stress has been washed away (even if it’ll replenish extra during the weekdays).

it’s been all around horrible for the second half of the day, and partly possibly because i skipped lunch and stuff,,, but maybe because my self validation meter is running low and there’s literally nobody here to help?? maybe?

i want so badly to have an irl friend to yap about everything to. it feels too much like ive been taking all the yapping and doing absolutely everything to nod my head and listen like the open-minded person im supposed to be and barely getting to even show any of my thoughts and

i chose the paintbrush for reasons!! not just because i love it...

since she's supposed to be half self-insert, almost everything is referenced from my irl appearance but exaggerated for the artstyle!

even her legs/ankles, which are all wonky because of amane, are referenced slightly, but not as much ofc :')

i get random ankle injuries (rolling, breaking, etc) wayyyy too often... to the point where you can see that my posture's all wonky, so this is a perfect fit 😔

we can acknowledge both sides of the debate! these two mean the world to me, and i know many others feel the same (but i cannot go three posts without calling custody. save a piece of amane, sakura & mei/shijima for me!), so let’s appreciate aidairo’s hard work all together!

because me and my petty self want to claim this headcanon :’)

mei and mitsuba haven’t been shown interacting aside a short time in picture perfect arc and it’s such a waste because their parallels are so absolutely interesting and i’m in love with the idea of sibling relationship shijimitsu

once, mitsuba tried to find a place to stay within the seven mysteries and kinda got rejected by most of them. however, the one he wasn’t shown interacting with was with shijima, and they get along together well enough, looking at their interactions in picture perfect...

not to mention these parallels;

they’re both 'fakes'. the second unoriginal versions of people who used to be alive, people who used to be there and talk to others and make an impact on the world.

their original selves were both artists. they drew what was important, immortalizing it in their photos and paintings and sketches and film. original mitsuba’s ghost took a picture of kou before getting turned into no. 3 by tsukasa. original mei drew her ideal self, in a tower, and created her second self. both these things were important to them.

their second selves were created because their original selves had a wish. to live on, and to have & stay with friends...

and slowly, their second selves started to grow indifferent to their original selves’ forms of expression. shijima seems to only draw for functionality instead of for her own enjoyment or curiosity or expression, but her art has so much more meaning now that they create more than just an impression of life—they make life. and mitsuba doesn’t even know anything anymore, amnesia go brrrr (ty @ocelotlesbian for pointing this out)

i have so much to say about how shijima’s art is being used more as a tool for convenience instead of how the original mei used it—even natsuhiko & tsukasa are trying to annoy her for stuff—and not to mention the things they could do with this ability if someone thought about it enough (she, tsuchigomori, yako & the clock keepers are so completely broken i can’t even—these are the mysteries, of course, but i’m so glad they’re passively watching everything unfold because if they took matters into their own hands it’d be absolute chaos look at the clock keepers arc)

and i henceforth i headcanon

these two siblings doing art together afterschool in an art room. do we normally see mitsuba in hanako’s bathroom after school? no... and he’s scared of tsukasa. absolutely traumatised. ignore the afterschool episodes, i want mitsuba to turn on his heel and walk straight to the art room, skipping the fourth step.

after he has his melancholy talks and tear-filled arguments with kou he goes over and whines to shijima and they watch a movie on a projector and eat ice cream from a minifridge.

bonus points if mei uses her sketchbook to draw tissues for them. they literally have infinite ice cream and tissues

after the aquarium trip, i don’t think he could return to kou’s house (teru) & he also loses more energy the further away he is from the school SO i’d like to say he walks over, finds shijima & just cries to her the entire time about how kou is being difficult

shijima (unbothered queen) hands him her sketchbook w a drawing of a tissue box inside and 'mhm's every few minutes

it’s such a nice dynamic i love them so much

WHAT IF THEY RELEARNED THEIR PAST SELVES’ HOBBIES TOGETHER

like mitsuba learning how to hold a camera w his hand

shijima teaches him how to sketch, they go on small trips around the school at night to look at items in the moonlight

mitsuba absolutely destroys any supernaturals in their way (i need shijima to force him to eat occasionally and he will have to listen)

no but shijima is perfectly able to handle them herself

cue shijima pulling a sword from her sketchbook and bashing supernaturals into a pulp

because me and my petty self want to claim this headcanon :’)

mei and mitsuba haven’t been shown interacting aside a short time in picture perfect arc and it’s such a waste because their parallels are so absolutely interesting and i’m in love with the idea of sibling relationship shijimitsu

once, mitsuba tried to find a place to stay within the seven mysteries and kinda got rejected by most of them. however, the one he wasn’t shown interacting with was with shijima, and they get along together well enough, looking at their interactions in picture perfect...

not to mention these parallels;

they’re both 'fakes'. the second unoriginal versions of people who used to be alive, people who used to be there and talk to others and make an impact on the world.

their original selves were both artists. they drew what was important, immortalizing it in their photos and paintings and sketches and film. original mitsuba’s ghost took a picture of kou before getting turned into no. 3 by tsukasa. original mei drew her ideal self, in a tower, and created her second self. both these things were important to them.

their second selves were created because their original selves had a wish. to live on, and to have & stay with friends...

and slowly, their second selves started to grow indifferent to their original selves’ forms of expression. shijima seems to only draw for functionality instead of for her own enjoyment or curiosity or expression, but her art has so much more meaning now that they create more than just an impression of life—they make life. and mitsuba doesn’t even know anything anymore, amnesia go brrrr (ty @ocelotlesbian for pointing this out)

i have so much to say about how shijima’s art is being used more as a tool for convenience instead of how the original mei used it—even natsuhiko & tsukasa are trying to annoy her for stuff—and not to mention the things they could do with this ability if someone thought about it enough (she, tsuchigomori, yako & the clock keepers are so completely broken i can’t even—these are the mysteries, of course, but i’m so glad they’re passively watching everything unfold because if they took matters into their own hands it’d be absolute chaos look at the clock keepers arc)

and i henceforth i headcanon

these two siblings doing art together afterschool in an art room. do we normally see mitsuba in hanako’s bathroom after school? no... and he’s scared of tsukasa. absolutely traumatised. ignore the afterschool episodes, i want mitsuba to turn on his heel and walk straight to the art room, skipping the fourth step.

after he has his melancholy talks and tear-filled arguments with kou he goes over and whines to shijima and they watch a movie on a projector and eat ice cream from a minifridge.

bonus points if mei uses her sketchbook to draw tissues for them. they literally have infinite ice cream and tissues

after the aquarium trip, i don’t think he could return to kou’s house (teru) & he also loses more energy the further away he is from the school SO i’d like to say he walks over, finds shijima & just cries to her the entire time about how kou is being difficult

shijima (unbothered queen) hands him her sketchbook w a drawing of a tissue box inside and 'mhm's every few minutes

it’s such a nice dynamic i love them so much

like mitsuba learning how to hold a camera w his hand

shijima teaches him how to sketch, they go on small trips around the school at night to look at items in the moonlight

mitsuba absolutely destroys any supernaturals in their way (i need shijima to force him to eat occasionally and he will have to listen)

cue shijima pulling a sword from her sketchbook and bashing supernaturals into a pulp
