Golden Retrievers are well known for their characteristic color, gorgeous feathers, floppy ears, sprightly dispositions, or even the incredible shedding of their coats. This pup is a water lover and will play with anything and everything that comes their way. Originally bred to retrieve live fowl, they are happy to take on several other roles, such as playing fetch endlessly with their owners or even working as service dogs. The colors of Golden Retriever dogs can vary from white or cream to dark golden. They also have to feather on the backs of their forelegs, the fronts of their necks, the back of their thighs, and the bottom part of their tail. Long floppy ears combine with a playful personality to give them an eternal puppy look. In addition to that gorgeous golden coat, the golden labrador also has a double coat, which is composed of an outer water-repellent coat and a soft undercoat that helps regulate its body temperature throughout the year regardless of the weather conditions. Golden retrievers shed their hair like other dogs with double coats, so it is not surprising that they shed. When it comes to brushing Golden Retrievers, it is important to brush them weekly and daily during the shedding months, to prevent blowouts in the fall and spring. Golden Retrievers should not need more than occasional baths if they have been properly brushed.

OH MY GOD YEYSYEYSYSYSY
I cannot believe that I totally forgot to post the new kittens. These cuties are 5 weeks old, there are 3 girls and 2 boys. The last litter I named after Ancient Egyptian Gods and Goddesses. This time when naming them, I have decided to go with Aztec Gods and Goddesses.

Every night I have two dinner companions. They love little bits of chicken or pork but their absolute favorite is shrimp. They go nutz for shrimp.
