Senior Valedictorian; Volleyball Captain, who led Spring Hill’s team to their first tournament victory in over 30 years; And the most wanted girl at Spring Hill High.
She was a legacy; no one else could compare to her. Yet she was still so humble.
She still went home every day and helped her mom cook dinner. She still volunteered at her local pet adoption center. She still stayed behind every day and tutored anyone who needed the help.
Yoo Jimin was golden.
___________________________________
Jimin’s P.O.V
Three Years Prior, Spring Hill High School
“Jimin, come sit here! Right here! Hey! Over here! J.I.M.I.N Y.O.O”
Normally, having someone scream out your full government name would be concerning, but not for you since it was a daily occurrence. It was none other than your loud, eccentric friend, Ah Yujin.
“Shut up! Everyone’s staring at you, dumbass.” And there goes your equally loud friend, Y/n L/n.
Everyone was staring at your friends, but that never bothered you; you were used to it. You did, however, dislike the comments that came with it.
“How could someone like her be friends with them?”
“Doesn’t she have the highest GPA of our senior class? And isn’t Yujin failing every course, including study hall?”
“She’s so pretty; she’d be even prettier if she lost that rat pack of hers.”
You couldn’t seem to understand why their opinions mattered. Why couldn’t you be friends with people you like? Why is it such an inconvenience to everyone else? They didn’t know your idiot friends like you did, so how could they have such awful words to say? Still, you walked past everyone and showed a bright smile in front of your best friends. So, if they ever heard everyone’s opinions, you could at least show them that you don’t care about everyone's negative views. It's not like your friends could listen to anything over Yujin’s screaming, but just as a precaution, you smile extra brightly every day.
“I’m less than two feet away from you, Yu.”
“Just making sure you remember where to sit!” Yujin was practically bouncing off the walls; you couldn’t understand where she got all this energy from.
“We sit at the same table every day, Yu.”
“Hey, Jimin.” The same chipper yet quieter voice came from the other half of the table.
“Heya Y/n.” Y/N was always pretty quiet; you just chalked it up to nervousness. Yujin always knew how to draw a crowd with her antics, so it wouldn’t surprise you if Y/N felt overwhelmed by the attention.
“What’s got you bouncing around today, Yu? You’re usually hyper, but it looks like you took it up a notch.”
“She’s acting like she just had four megadoses of cocaine.” You laughed since your friends always had a way with words. You wished you could speak freely, but that would go against your character.
Your character.
“How could you not be excited? Graduation is less than FOUR days away.”
“You’re just excited to party.”
“Well duh? High School was a fucking drag. Of course, I’m excited to celebrate leaving this place.”
“Maybe if you joined a club, or, I don’t know, applied yourself, it wouldn’t be such a drag.”
“You sound like my mother; sorry, we can’t all be perfect like Yoo Jimin.”
That stung. You hated that phrase. You hated being the one everyone compared themselves to. Was it so bad that you worked hard? Can’t they get off their asses every once in a while and help out? No, instead, they’re too busy blaming you for setting an impossible standard. They blamed you for being Yoo Jimin. Fuck being Yoo Jimin.
You couldn’t say any of this, though; it would be out of character for you. All you could do was smile and laugh. You’re Spring Hill’s golden child; why complain about being told you’re perfect?
_______________________________________
And so,
All your hard work ended up being worth it. You guess? Here you were at the same graduation party as everyone else. Going to the same college as your close friends. The same college as your friend Yujin, who graduated with a 2.3 GPA, while you graduated with a perfect 4.0. The same college as your friend Y/N, who never did an extracurricular activity in their life while you did in 7.
... Why did you work so hard?
Well, that doesn’t matter now. At least you get to have fun and celebrate with all your friends.
Speaking of which, why was your friend Yujin talking to, Wonyoung?
The Jang Wonyoung? What could she possibly have in common with Yujin?
Why didn't Yujin tell you they were friends? You always got caught up with all the work you did, but you always made time for your friends. Did Yujin not feel close enough to tell you? Since you were too busy being Yoo Jimin? Had the image you worked so hard to maintain caused your friendship to drift apart?
Before you had the chance to speak to Yujin, you felt a sudden voice come slithering into your ear. It was Ning Yi Zhuo.
“Yeonjun’s here with that bitch he left me for; it’ll totally make him jealous if we kiss, don’t you think? He’s a total asshole for cheating on me; he deserves this.”
No. Why would you agree to that? Sure, you heard the rumors about Yeonjun cheating. You agreed that he deserved some sort of payback. But not with you. Why would someone like you kiss Ningning? The school’s known rich bitch? That wasn’t very in character for you. That wasn’t very Yoo Jimin.
…… Fuck Yoo Jimin. You just wanted to live life normally; you wanted to drink and curse. Fail an exam. Stay out past midnight and trespass around town. You hated the high pedestal everyone put you on. You didn’t want to be ‘The Yoo Jimin.’ You just wanted to be Jimin.
So, you kissed Ningning.

8.5 movie night part 2
•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•
Now here you are, letting the schools' richest, most spoiled students into your roach-infested dorm. You never believed in nightmares coming true, yet here you are in one.
“Oh, What a nice place you have!” You could see Ningning gritting her teeth throughout the whole sentence. “Really? It looks like shit to me.” And there goes Haewon onto the ground from a not so subtle jab from Ningning.
“Ok, So what movies next? Let’s let Wonyoung pick!” You tried to steer the conversation away from that embarrassing reminder.
“You just feel bad that you knocked her out.” It did not work.
“Anyways….Wonyoung what movie?”
“Hm, I heard ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’ is a good romantic comedy! It’s about being hopelessly in-love with your best friend and trying to win their heart!”
Your stomach began to churn.
it’s definitely just a coincidence that she chose that, right?
“Aw, that movies so cute! I wish I could experience being in love with my childhood friend!”
Ok, now it’s starting to feel intentional.
“Y/n, you ever felt like that before?” So, bumping into them wasn’t a coincidence at all. This was on purpose. Still, no way they would blurt out your secret, right? It was obvious at this point that you were nervous, and the silence in the air began to drag out.
“No way she has! She’s only grown up with Yujin and me. We would know if something was going on in her life.” Jimin defended you, but why did that still hurt so much? You felt a ping in your heart, and your stomach dropped. All you could do was laugh and agree, yet the air in the room didn’t get any less awkward.
“So, are we starting the movie?” Yelled an impatient, loud Yunjin, and so the film began.
You hated the movie. All you could do was relate. Would you stop Jimin from getting married? Would you ever tell her how you felt?
You began to feel overwhelmed and slipped out of the dorm while everyone focused on the film. Stepping outside, you let a long breath out. You didn’t even realize how tense you were feeling inside. The thought of Jimin seeing your reaction, Yujin potentially having another slip-up, or those rich assholes teasing you was enough to make you incredibly stressed.
This moment of peace didn’t last, though. You heard the door open and quickly straightened up. You couldn’t let your friends see you so anxious. Only it wasn’t your friend at the door; it was your psych partner?
“Why’d you run out?"
“I don’t have time for you, Ningning. Just leave me alone.”
“I didn’t come to fight, honestly.” How could you ever believe that? She’s the whole reason that you’re feeling like this.
“Really? Then why are you out here?”
“I know what it feels like, y’know. To be in love with a friend, just for it to end badly.”
You found that hard to believe, but stayed silent.
“Yeonjun and I grew up together as neighbors. He was everything to me. We did everything together, and he even gave me a promise ring when we were 7 years old. Sure, it was a daisy he tied around my finger, but it’s the thought that counts. Then that bitch, Aeri, came in and took him from me. I know I blame her a lot for it, but both parties were responsible.” Ningning’s voiced started to crack up.
“ It ruined me for a while. I couldn’t show up to school and told everyone I was going to Paris fashion week; In reality, I was hauled up in my room eating mint chocolate ice cream.” Was she actually being genuine? She wouldn’t even turn to look at you, is she trying not to cry…?
“Oh, I’m sorry that happened.” That was all you could say; you couldn’t help but actually feel bad for Ningning. You could feel the hurt in her voice. Is she really trying to relate to you? Well, if she’s pouring her heart out to you, what do you have to lose? She already knows about your crush.
“If it makes you feel any better, I can kind of relate. You already know how I feel about Jimin; It’s not a surprise anymore. We blame friends our freshman year of high school. When I first laid my eyes on her, it felt like my whole world turned into color. She was always so attentive and never left me behind, no matter how popular she got. Yet she could never see how I felt about her. I watched her date person after person, always wondering when it'd be my turn. Sophomore year, on Valentine's Day, I even got her a chocolate bear and bouquet; in return, I got a ‘Thanks, you’re the best friend a girl could ask for.’ The one time I decided to be brave enough and confess, I was too late.”
Tears started running down your face before you could even process them. You never told anyone how you really felt before; besides Yujin, you never could. Jimin was always part of your friend group, so it would’ve just made things weird. So being able to vent, even to someone you hate, felt good.
You waited for the awkward silence to start, but instead you felt a warm embrace. The same person who was threatening you less then 12 hours ago, is hugging you.
“It’s okay; your secrets are safe with me. Don’t worry about Jimin finding out; she won’t.”
Before you got a chance to respond, you heard the door slam open and a loud “LET’S GO!” Came from Haewon. You’ve been outside so long that the movie had ended. Quickly drying your tears, you waved goodbye to your surprise guest of the day and apologized once more for hitting Wonyoung.
“Y/N, are you okay? Did she say anything to you?” Yunjin was defensive and ready to chase Ningning down if she did hurt you.
“Nah, we were just talking about the midterm project. Anyone up for one more movie?”
And so you spent your night laughing and crying at various movies with your friends, still wondering what would come from the conversation with Ningning.

•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•
After Yujin blurted out your crush, all you could is run. You packed up your stuff, and ran.
“Wait y/n, come back!”
That was all Yujin could manage to say. She didn’t try to call out your name again or chase you down to talk. Yujin wanted nothing more than to go after you, hug you, and apologize, but she couldn’t.
Yujin’s P.O.V
“O.M.G Did you see the look on her face when Yujin mentioned Jimin?” Haewon laughed, while a high-pitched cackle came from “Queen B” herself, Ningning.
“She literally looked like she was going to shit herself, so pathetic.”
Everyone in the room was laughing, laughing at your best friend. You couldn’t help but feel nauseous at the scene in front of you.
Wonyoung seemed to take notice of this and squeezed your hand tight.
“Don’t look so worried; she’ll be fine, babe.”
“We embarrassed her in front of everyone, and for what? Some stupid petty revenge?” You felt anger; who are they to play with Y/N’s feelings like this? What had they done to deserve this?
“Don’t tell me you’re feeling cold feet now, Yujin. You know the deal. Help us with Aeri, and you get to keep your friends.” Ningning’s voice felt like poison when she spoke, her words striking with venom.
You knew to take this threat seriously. You couldn’t let anyone find out what you did that day.
Especially not y/n.
3 Years Prior, Spring Hill High School
Yujin P.O.V
You stared down at the note handed to you.
‘Meet me in the library at 3 p.m.; don’t tell anyone.'
Y/N was never the type to be secretive, so this confused you. What could she possibly have to talk to you about? Still, you didn’t waste time and headed straight there, only to find a stressed-out Y/N.
“Holy shit, you look like you haven’t slept in days? What’s going on?” You exclaimed, It was true, y/n looked pretty worn down.
“Yujin, what am I going to do?” -
“What do you mean? What could you possibly be stressed about? We graduate in 4 days, dude!”
“I know, that’s what stinks.”
“I’m not following; we’re literally going to college together anyway.”
“That’s the PROBLEM. New college, new people, new possible connections.”
Oh. You knew where this was going.
“What if Jimin finds someone?” You could hear the choked-up tears coming from Y/N.
Ever since you could remember, your best friend has had a crush on Yoo Jimin. I mean, who wouldn’t? Jimin was everything you could ask for in a person: Top student, volleyball captain, and absolutely gorgeous. And, unfortunately, the third member in your trio.
You’ve all been really close since your freshman year—close friends, that is. That’s how you prefer it. You hated the idea of them being together. If they were to break up, then what would happen to your trio? Would you have to split up? This thought terrified you more than you could imagine. So, anytime you could, you tried pushing away Y/N from the idea of dating Jimin. Was it the right thing to do? No, but you just didn’t want to see your best friend get hurt. That’s all.
“No, I’m going to do it Yujin; I’m going to confess at the graduation after party.”
Shit.
Annddd there you were, celebrating away with your fellow classmates, but you couldn’t have any fun. You could only think about the potential shitshow that was going to happen later. I mean, Jimin really wouldn’t say yes, would she? But if she did...No, you didn’t want to think about it. You had to stop the confession from happening, and you knew just the person to ask.
“Wonyoung, hey!”
"Aw, cutie pie! I haven’t seen you since you flunked the English finale exam!” Ok, that stung a bit, but it’s to be expected with Wonyoung. You laughed a bit and tried gliding past her comment toward you.
“Could I ask a favor from you?”
Those were the only seven words needed to get the ball rolling. In a matter of 5 minutes, y/n’s heart had been shattered. You’re not quite sure what happened, and you’d rather never find out.
All you could remember was Y/N’s teary face, as she spit out the words.
“Jimin kissed someone else.”
You crushed Y/N’s heart.

TRUE ENDING 𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪
・❥・Confess
You decided that now was a better time than ever to confess. I mean, you really did like Wonyoung, and what did you have to lose?
You explained that you lied to Yujin because you wanted Wonyoung to notice you.
Wonyoung could only manage to stare at you, then start to laugh.
Ouch, that really hurt your ego, but at least you got your answer.
Or did you? Wonyoung pulled you into a hug, still slightly giggling.
“You went through all that trouble for little old me? Y/N, that’s adorable. If we’re being honest, you kind of caught my eye too when you walked in. If we’re being even more honest, I might’ve tried bribing Gaeul to switch cabins with me too. Lucky for me, though, she said no!”
You stared at her, bewitched. Did Jang Wonyoung have a thing for you? The same Jang Wonyoung you spent all summer trying to make yours, liked you all along?
“How about we go back to the others and explain?” You nodded, smiling from ear to ear. You two held hands as you walked back to the camp site, ready to tell the others your true love story.
The summer had come and gone, and suddenly camp was all over. You bid your farewells to all your campers; you were even going to miss them.
All of the counselors started exchanging contact information, as you all wanted to stay in touch! After you decided to be honest with everyone, it brought you a lot closer!
Especially you and Wonyoung.
The two of you made up your minds to try long distance while you were away at university, and it was time for you two to go your separate ways. You went in for a hug, but Wonyoung gave you a nice kiss on the cheek! All your newfound friends cheered, and it led you to blush.
You all said your final goodbyes; it was a memorable summer! ❤
Thank you all for playing!

FRIENDSHIP ENDING
➳ Stay Silent.
Wonyoung understood that you had decided to be silent. You were emotional, and this situation clearly bugged you, so she dropped it and just hugged you.
You appreciated this a lot.
Thus, you spent the rest of your summer days working hard! Once the camp had come to an end, the other counselors and you had gotten quite close. You all exchanged contact information and promised to stay in touch with each other! Wonyoung had been especially eager to.
This didn’t last long, though, as most camp friendships do.
You were still glad to experience the fun summer you did, though, and decided that you might make this your permanent summer gig!
You might’ve not gotten your lovely maiden's hand in marriage, but at least you got a new killer friendship!

HEART-BROKEN ENDING
➳ Ask her to run away.
You asked her to run away with you! You talked about the life you would live together and all the places you would see. You were confident you could provide for your family; I mean, you worked hard all summer!
Wonyoung stared at you and laughed. She thought it was a cute idea and appreciated that you took time to think about it.
That shattered your heart. Just cute? This was your whole life, which you had planned for them. How could she just think it was cute? You cried harder, hating life.
Summer camp had ended, and everyone had switched contact info! Wonyoung stated how she wanted to stay friends, but you rejected her. Now she could feel your pain.
She shrugged and walked away.
Now you’re double heartbroken.

Scenario 5: Confession Time.
Everyone had a good time and told fun ghost stories!
Yujin even told the story about how the cabin she was supposed to stay in was haunted. Uh oh, that isn’t good. Everyone proceeded to tell her that she was making it up and that it wasn’t true. Yujin explained that you were the one who told her this, so if anyone was lying, it was you.
You felt embarrassed; you couldn’t just tell everyone why you lied. Instead, you ran away to your cabin in embarrassment. You hear a knock on your door, which you choose to ignore, but the person comes in anyway.
It’s…Wonyoung?
She knelt down in front of you and asked if you were okay. You had tears in your eyes from embarrassment at this point, and all you could muster up was a weak yes.
She told you that if anything was going on, you could tell her! She feels that you two have been able to bond this summer, and she can see that you’re a good person, so anything you have to say she’ll listen to.
You decide to…
A. Confess.
B. Stay silent.
C. Ask her to run away.
wonyoung x reader (choose your own adventure!)
BAD END #10
➳ No.
Wonyoung shrugged and left without you.
Everyone had a good time and told fun ghost stories without you.
You even looked out the window to see them making s’mores without you.
You sunk into bed alone. Why couldn’t you have said yes? Didn’t you want to spend the summer with your girl?
Instead, you’re lonely and lame.

Scenario 4: Night campfire.
You quickly leapt into save them! Everyone cheered around you while you heroically grabbed the drowning child, and put them back onto the canoe.
The cheers quickly turned into horrified screams when you suddenly remembered: You can’t swim.
I guess the pure adrenaline of the situation made you forget this fact. You started to immediately drown, until you felt the warm presence wrap themselves around you and pull you up.
It was your lovely lady!
She got you back onto the boat, and asked if you were okay! Wonyoung commended you for your act of bravery, gave you a hug when she saw you were shaking from the cold. You thought about drowning more often after this!
Flashing forward to the end of the night, it was time for everyone to get back into their cabins and sleep the night away.
While you’re deep into your slumber, you get a shake from Wonyoung. She tells you that all the consolers are going to meet near the campsite to hang out!
How do you respond?
A. Yes
B. No

BAD END #9
➳ Hand them a paddle to grab onto, and pull them in.
This was a genius idea! You couldn’t swim, so this was the second-best thing.
That is, until you hit the child on the head with the paddle, causing them to drown even quicker.
Wonyoung ended up having to go in and save them. It was embarrassing.
To you, this was your attempt to save the child; to everyone else, this was potential first-degree murder. You were sentenced to a summer with no bitches.
And to actual prison.

BAD END #8
➳ Let Wonyoung save them.
Everyone’s in high panic about the situation except you, fuck them kids.
It's clear your only focus is on the game, and that horrifies Wonyoung. She lets out a “Love dive.” And goes straight into the water. Suddenly, a transformation happens.
Wonyoung is a mermaid!
She quickly saves the drowning child and ensures they’re okay. The games are canceled for that day, so not only do you look like an asshole for ignoring the drowning child, you can’t even win the game.
And You missed out on getting together with a mermaid. Your life stinks.

Scenario 4: Let the games begin!
“Jang Wonyoung is at your service.” She winked.
You felt yourself blushing, almost to the point where you wanted to propose. But you didn’t.
In casual conversation as the two of you unpacked, you also began to look over the itinerary for the next couple of weeks. It included fun activities that you were positive you would ace.
Capture the flag? Easy.
You lost.
Uno?
You got +24 on your first turn. You didn’t even know they made cards like that.
Arts and crafts?
You swallowed two boxes of string that day, and they still haven’t made it out of you.
Okay, well, camp might not have been going exactly as planned, but at least you were getting paid and hanging with your lady! The final activity of the day had been canoe racing, and all the campers had split up into their designated teams. This was your moment to show off; if you beat all the other 8-year-olds, then Wonyoung should surely be yours. I mean, who doesn’t love a winner?
The camp director screamed, “Go!” And off went all the competitors.
Suddenly, one of the children fell off the boat! Oh no!
What do you do?
A. Dive in to save them.
B. Let Wonyoung save them.
C. Hand them a paddle to grab onto, and pull them in.

BAD END #7
➳ Propose.
You dug through all your bags to try to find a candy ring pop you had stored for occasions just like this! After finding it, you breathed in and out, trying not to let engagement jitters get to you.
You got down on one knee and called Wonyoung's name.
“Jang Wonyoung, would you make me the happiest person in existence and marry me?” You were chocking up at this point, tears swelling in your eyes. However, just before Wonyoung can answer, Liz comes barreling in. How rude of her to mess up your engagement!
“Wait! I have proof Wonyoung cheated!" You rolled your eyes, not believing a word.
“I have proof because she cheated with me.” You looked back at Wonyoung, and she couldn't even meet your gaze.
You were heartbroken.
You got up and ran away, never looking back.
Your summer is spent poor and heartbroken.

BAD END #6
➳ Pass her a note introducing yourself.
Wonyoung smiled at you as she unraveled your note. Her smile faded quickly, turning into tears.
You looked at her in horror. How could you forget such an important detail?
Wonyoung can’t read.
Before you could explain yourself, she had already made up her mind about your character. She spread rumors all over the camp that you were a bully who made fun of her lack of knowledge.
Everyone now knows you as a bully. How could you be so cruel?

Scenario #4: Introduction
You decided: screw honesty!
Pulling Yujin aside, you explained about an urban legend going around the woods.
Once upon a time, in a camp just like this one, lived a girl named Yunjin. Yunjin lived in the same cabin as Yujin. She was everyone’s favorite counselor, up until the year she wasn’t! She killed everyone!
You were very uncreative.
Still, this had been enough to put off Yujin from staying there, because why would a stranger lie about something like that? She agreed to switch cabins with you!
Once you got unpacked, you decided now would be the best time to introduce yourself!
A. Pass her a note introducing yourself.
B. Propose.
C. “Hi, my name is y/n!”

BAD END #5
➳ Tell her the truth.
You decided that honesty is the best policy. Pulling Yujin aside, you explained that you were trying to make sparks fly this summer! She nodded, seeming to understand what you’re implying.
This is when you learned the hard way that honesty is not the best policy.
Yujin was freaked out that you were going to try to put the moves on someone you had never met. She told Wonyoung about your plan, who had been equally put off.
Thus, you spent the rest of your summer days as an outcast among your fellow counselors and students. You racked up some cash this summer but couldn’t buy yourself a new reputation.
