Looking back at one of my comics, this one, Mordecaiās pose lowkey looks like that one Nicholas Cage meme šš
Also Iām almost done with the comic Iām currently working on š¤§ hopefully Iāll be done with it by tomorrow!
The upcoming short comic is titled, āThe Rattlesnake and The Jester.ā
What to (hopefully) expect is the first two pages of the comic and it takes place before MarĆanne goes to Lackadaisy! āØ
Was kind of afraid to show this but after seeing that other lackadaisy ocs are welcome, lemme show mine then.
Meet Maine "May" Cathnesty. The lovely baker of the Little Daisy CafƩ.
Born in Texas, moved to St. Louis to look for a job, which ended up in the CafƩ.
A 19 year old Maine Coon, with a distinct southern accent. She has a knack for giving nicknames to people based on that person's mood at the moment.

Painting of MarĆanne I wanted to surprise the wonderful @ahhhh-118 with! Except not really because they already knew since I asked xD But I mean, how could I not!? A Latinx traveler that dabbles in boxing in her free time?! Ummm yeahā¦thatās queen material right there.
Drawing a new character really helped me step outside of my comfort zone, it was so lovely! I might have to start harrassing more of my mutuals and followers to let me draw their OCs to help me learn. Maybe Iāll start an OC of the Week! Haha thatād be great.

MEET ROSEMARY CABRERO
A Filipino domestic shorthair cat, a personal henchmen and bodyguard of Mr.Marigold.
"Mr.Marigold? You mean Marigold where Asa Sweet and Mordecai works in?"
No. Mr.Marigold is the name of her boss' in different company business in Chinatown. They use to work together for their business but times change and so is his plans.
Just a heads-up that Rosemary is the main character of this story of Blood n' Gold. A fan franchise of Lackadaisy I'm working on involves with many underworld crime, some original characters in it but stories focused on new character's like Rosemary and crime fictions that involves illegal activities around the countries.
The story includes with Yakuza and most other countries that involves with drugs, prostitution, slavery and other illegal entertainment in the underworld to earn money and business. And also involves an education the trains kids to become a killing machine, brain washing them until they become their ideal perfect henchmen. wonder why is this under the description of Rosemary.
I wonder what trauma and drama she's going to face as I write.

MarĆanne was performing on the streets in Illinois (possibly Springfield). Her old gang members had been tracking her and finally found her. She and her friend tried to run from them when they caught her (she regrets dragging him into this because he got hurt), they got separated during the chaseā¦
Atlas, Mordecai, and Viktor were coming from a business meeting and were heading back to Lackadaisy. Hereās what happens next:
And that is how MarĆanne ended up working for Lackadaisy.

--Nearly all of Ch2 is available, EXCEPT: The "America" backstory when talking with Lottie (it's just half finished). Overall around ~22k words added, and a few thousand to Chapter 1. --Reworked the Sex/Gender/Gender Presentation System. --New and Revised MC Dialogue to Ch1, depending on what Occupation you choose. Not all has been changed, more planned later in the month. --Various typo fixes, small re-writes and bug fixes.
I wanted to get more done, but alas ><;; šš½ some IRL came up that i really need to deal with. BUT! I managed to get Ch2 from beginning to end! I hope yall will enjoy the last half of Ch2, I'm very happy with it overall! :"))))

I was getting tired waiting for season 5 of lego monkie kid and I didn't have the mood to draw Lmk ocs, so I watched the lackadaisy Pilot and read some pages of the comics and ended up drawing this girlie!
Her name is Carmen! This is her design when shes around her 13-18's (Feel free to ask Carmen about anything!)
Also, I love Mordecai. He may be a little insane, but he's a cool dude.

Where's the rest of Marianne's family? What is her relationship with her brother (both when Marianne was young and now, when they're adults)?
Hi, thank you for the question! Sorry it took me awhile to answer life and procrastination got in the way š but here we go:
So the relationship with her brother, Sebastian, has always been strong even as kids. Despite an 8 year age gap, Sebastian adored his little sister taking care of her (practically raising her) since their parents were always too busy with their own business deals.
They left their grandmother back in CĆ²rdoba and the family had moved to Florida making their own arrangements in selling illegal wine.
While young MarĆanne was in her own world, Sebastian was always suspicious of the men that would come around their house and chat with his parents. The young boy always had a feeling that things wouldnāt end well.
To this day, he hated how right he wasā¦
As adults they went their separate ways. They still write letters to each other on occasion to see if the other is still alive and the update in each other of their daily lives.
However, the letters tend to get lost (sometimes) since running under an alias can confuse the mailman.

MarĆanne favorite food would be PlĆ”tanos Fritos (fried plantains).
She used to eat a lot of it as a child, and still thinks about them on occasion.
If you give her a plate of these she will get all giddy and refuse to share it with anybody. (She may also be willing to accept the proposal too, although she would be very confused lmao)
