I can finally show y’all the new logo for my brother (@erasexverything on instagram) and all the versions coming out later!
(Sorry for the tag but you know how it is, I gotta protect my art now 😅)
this is a logo that I made for my brother! Keeping it hidden until he uses it though 😔
So, I finally got to making the base vector for my webcomic’s logo...other little fixes aside. Also, this means that the name of this project is out there. :P
(That said, I have learned that it’s actually significantly harder to make wordmarks in Adobe Illustrator that look like wood carvings than it is to do more curvy handlettering in it. Yikes.)
I’ve actually gotten off of my butt to produce a logo design draft at 4:00 AM for my roommate’s new company that they’re using for subcontracting work. (And my portion of rent is gonna get reduced for this, so eeyyy.)
I somehow managed to forget a couple of Adobe Illustrator shortcuts off of the top of my head, but I got back into the groove of it after a few seconds.
Other than a few technical tweaks and any personal requests, I’m pleased with what I can spit out in about 2.5 hours.
I’ve officially completed my own logo. Again. For the umpteenth time now. It’s going to have other applications other than this, but I figured that showcasing it on black lace would be nice.
This is a logo design that I did for a family friend living out in Strathmore, Alberta.. I was asked to try and incorporate a Warthog (their club mascot) into the artwork.. So I thought the project would be a perfect opportunity for creating a kind-of Hank Porter -esque emblem, along the lines of his amazing WW2 Squadron insignia? I'm still not entirely sure about all of my color choices. But I'm pretty happy with the overall result..

if you haven’t guessed I’m a big fan of western media, so is my band mate. So we made it a broke back mountain ref.
In the future should I post clips of us playing? so far we’ve only done covers but both of us are trying to get into song writing,, So i’ll update soon
