THE PAIN IS FINALLY OVER. I finished drawing @jellazticious's (aka victim 6) interpretation of flawed ritual Sam. I love how much movement you can make when drawing this guy; honestly, mapping the arm tentacles was probably my favorite part of this drawing, if only because I got to make everything really wavey.

Also a sneak peek for what is to come in the look outside fic that is very quickly devolving into a giant shitpost

Victim numero cinco is @mtgc858 and her AU's version of Sam. Not a lot of fullbodies of this guy so I had to improvise a bit OOF. I know nothing about the mandela catalogue but he kinda looks like an alternate and I think that's awesome, I really love uncanny valley stuff OOF

I did some extra doodles to get a vague idea of what Sam might look like, they are under the cut ooF

I've been tryin to come up with my own flawed ritual sam design that vibes with me without feeling too similar to other peoples' stuff, I tried not to turn him into a dragon but I think dragons are the only thing my brain can design right now OOF

This is definitely somethin that I vibe with a bit more, might need to simplify later because I'm a lazy fuck and I don't want to draw all those arms again OOF

The fourth person on my hitlist is @potatobugz, I love their interpretation of the Flawed Ritual ending from this post.

This is by far the most abstract flawed ritual Sam design I've seen, taking a lot more creative liberties than others out there, but I think that's really cool and it really helps to set their design apart from other interpretations. The ring of arms is really cool and I keep imagining that his hugs would be a bit awkward because he'd be like a facehugger OOF

VICTIM 3 HATH BEEN ATTACKED. @fexarii's flawed ritual Sam (mostly based off this drawing of his), fexarii's Sam is very blob shaped and was surprisingly fun to draw OOF. I love how he interpreted Sam's mouth too, it's super gnarly and the monk's cap hairstyle is an interesting choice (and a cool way to keep his hair OOF)

Also I read up on fexarii's headcanons for his version of Sam and I gotta say they are really interesting to read

Victim 2 is @furiouskettle's Flawed Ritual Sam, I love how they draw all the arms n how centaur-like they make him. Also I love how they draw his expressions, they manage to convey his emotions really well even with his inhuman form.

10/10 recommend checking out their art, it's really awesome and their drawings of flawed ritual sam is just yes. I can't stop going back to read it again OOF

AHAHA IT'S FINALLY DONE, my first victim is @godslush and their rendition of flawed ritual sam because HOLY HELL the moment I saw their post I learned what true love felt like

Seriously though, their art is absolutely baller I suggest you guys check it out if you haven't already, I don't think I did their Sam rendition enough justice in my drawing OOF

I forgot to mention that I think turning his hair into a mane of sorts is really creative and genius, I love that detail a lot

Had a dream that I was Sam and I lost the fight against Spine, so Spine ended up "remaking" me. I decided it was an interesting idea to fool around with, so those are some doodles up above

Below are some more doodles (unshaded and shaded) that are more accurate to how the dream had gone, and frankly I like this design more OOF (also it feels more like something that would actually happen in game)

I literally could not stop thinking about this since I saw the Flawed Ritual ending. I'm not sure if this is in character for Jasper or not, but whatever

1 and 3 are more serious, with 1 being more accurate to what's shown and 3 taking the mutations less severely.

2 is a kind of shitpost idea I had where I was thinking "what if he just became one of the Hundred Gods"
