I’ve started watching Invincible and I need everyone to know that William is my favorite character (i literally only watched it for Andrew Rannells 💀) and i love how my guy found out Mark was Invincible and automatically decided to be annoying at abt it 😭 (same tbh)
The main difference between Comic!Mark and Show!Mark is that Comic!Mark is a millennial and Show!Mark is GenZ

Allen's visiting earth one day looking for mark, totally normal occurrence right? the only issue is that Mark is in class, and Allen values his friends education damn it, so he just hangs out to wait or mark.
Cecil does not appreciate getting an emergency alert to an unidentified alien presence on earth and goes to investigate.
mark gets out of class only to find Allen and Cecil in a shouting match on the quad.
Allen: I'm just here on a social call! I come in peace or whatever!
cecil: just come quietly and nobody gets hurt
Allen: nonono come on man! youre marks boss right?- oh shit was I supposed to say that? did you know his name? oh he's gonna be mad- oh there he is, hey mark!!
mark does not get paid enough. William finds this all hilarious.
mark babygirl Grayson singlehandedly ruining the viltumites carefully crafted reputation of being horrible terrifying gods. mark goes to any other planet ever and proceeds to be an absolute disaster and a sweetheart and everyones like wait this is a vilturmite?? he just got chased down the street by [insert panets equivalent of a squirrel]. he spent ten minutes talking about his human mom and how cool she is mid battle. he teared up after his teammates made fun of him.
. . . maybe viltumites aren't actually that scary

okay idk if this is an unpopular opinion but I feel like Mark is kind of just an ass to Cecil and like cmon that man is just trying his best like Mark needs to leave him the heck alone and STOP choking him out omg
like I’m with Cecil I 100% woulda put a contingency plan weapon in Marks head too. like the last time he dealt with one of these dudes the guy LITERALLY tried to KILL EVERYONE ON PLANET EARTH. sooo like. yeah
I think they should introduce an alternate universe evil/viltrimite sympathizer eve. Hear me out. Mark constantly deals with the threat of the people he loves dying. He constantly fears his grip on who he is slipping; him turning into his father. They go hand in hand: they are pure in a way completely unattainable to him. However, an evil eve would shatter than completely. I think it would heal him and break him at the same time. It would give him a completely new thing to worry about, but finally cement the one thing the audience already knows; we are all equally capable of good and evil. Maybe I also want toxic doomed markeve where mark isn’t evil but that's not the point
(disclaimer: of course I know about evil debbie but she's part of the family and therefore "tainted" in mark's mind, oliver ties into this. Also eve is clearly the most important person in mark's life right now so I feel like it would be the most impactful)

Been thinking about that one Mark Variant who admitted so bittersweetly, “I miss William…” and for some reason that struck such a cord in me. How even after all of what these Marks did, some of them did it to see someone they care and love again.
