NATG XIII - Day 23 Prompt: Draw a pony partying like there is no tomorrow / Draw a pony raising the roof. Figured I might as well draw at least one G2 pony for this year, so here's Light Heart! (It would be kinda cool if they brought back at least one G2 character in G5 - for example, Princess Silver Swirl.)
NATG XIII - Day 22 Prompt: Draw a pony facing a mistake from their past / Draw a pony putting the pieces back together. I used this one as a bit of an excuse to draw Sprout, a character that I don't draw very often. Basically, Senor Butterscotch (Izzy's unicorn construct thing) has broken somehow, and Sprout is trying desperately to put him back together before Izzy finds out. (Two of my original ideas were Sprout solving a jigsaw puzzle (something like that old "incredible giraffe puzzle" video) and a version of this piece, but with Sprout and Misty.)
NATG XIII - Day 21 Prompt: Draw a pony staying up late / Draw a pony kept in the dark. Twilight Twinkle and Tangerine Twinkle (both from G3) watching some fireflies. I used the airbrush in Medibang for the background, and the sumi brush for the ponies; this creates an interesting "out of focus" effect.
A couple of other Breezie OCs I had lying around. (This is the first time I've drawn Flutter Butter and Carnation in color.) Consider it a pseudo-sequel to this: www.deviantart.com/mintwhistle…
NATG XIII - Day 20 Prompt: Draw a pony enjoying a summer activity / Draw a pony feeling the heat. A relatively simple piece, featuring Seaflower from G1. She was one of the Sunshine Ponies, who had hair streaks that changed color in the sun. (I was originally going to include Sky Skimmer from G2, but I changed my mind. I'll probably use her in a future prompt, though.)
NATG XIII - Day 19 Prompt: Draw a pony daydreaming / Draw a pony with their head in the clouds. Here we have a pair of breezies, minding their own business, unaware of how much their world has changed. (The one on the left is named Lavender Orchid, while the one on the right is named Dainty Dewdrop. Also, I used the stipple pen and airbrush in Medibang for this one.)
NATG XIII - Day 18 Prompt: Draw a pony experiencing a miracle / Draw a pony forging their own destiny. Misty finds herself surrounded by butterflies, one of which happens to be her future cutie mark. Is it a dream? A vision of what's to come? You decide. (For this one I used the acrylic brush in Medibang. I wouldn't consider it to be truly "lineless", but it checks out!)
NATG XIII - Day 17 Prompt: Draw a pony facing their worst nightmare / Draw a pony scared senseless. Based on this little headcanon I had, about Sunny being afraid of spiders for some reason. Don't panic, Sunny! They're not trying to hurt you! Hopefully...
NATG XIII - Day 16 Prompt: Draw a pony being pushed to their limit / Draw a pony about to break. Sunny's not pleased... somepony's goin' down. (Imagine if something like this actually happens in the show.)
NATG XIII - Day 15 Prompt: Draw a ponyfied version of your favorite book, game, ect / Draw a pony crossing over. Here's an idea I've had for quite some time, but never actually got around to drawing until now! Hitch finds himself in a strange new world... where the critters still won't leave him alone. And his badge is missing. Again. (also it took me about 3 hours to make this)
NATG XIII - Day 14 Prompt: Draw a pony preparing for a showdown / Draw a pony gathering their courage. Izzy is ready to help her friends stop Opaline... with the power of the Ultra Sword! (Yep, that's a Kirby reference.)
NATG XIII - Day 13 Prompt: Draw a pony up to their old tricks / Draw a pony acting fishy! Twiggie commits a classic crime... or she would, if Enilapo didn't interrupt her. Who is this "Opaline Arcana" you speak of? (The fish costume was inspired by the many literal interpretations of the latter prompt that I saw.)
It's Lemon Zest from Equestria Girls, but in pony form! I think it turned out pretty good.
NATG XIII - Day 12 Prompt: Draw a pony foretelling the future / Draw a pony experiencing deja vu. In which Sunny finds the mysterious box from Season 4, which she may or may not remember seeing before. What's in the box? Is it Rainbow Power again? Or something different? Who knows?
NATG XIII - Day 11 Prompt: Draw a pony sharing a friendship lesson / Draw a pony making new friends. Izzy befriends a dinosaur named Cutesaurus (from G1), and they go on adventures. That is all.

NATG XIII - Day 10 Prompt: Draw a pony doing something you like to do in real life (outside of drawing) / Draw a pony trying something new. Misty tries her hoof at surfing... it's not going to end well, to say the least. For this one, I mainly used the wet watercolor brush in Medibang, which is why it looks a little strange. (I accidentally used the pencil tool when doing her mane, tail, and possibly her ear and horn - it occurred while I was trying to correct a mistake on one of the layers.)
NATG XIII - Day 9 Prompt: Draw a pony lining their pockets / Draw a pony finding the silver lining. A bit literal, but here's the pony Silver Lining from G3 finding... a silver lining! During a rainstorm, of course. (This is my first time drawing a wet mane, so... I also forgot to color in the clouds on her cutie mark.)
NATG XIII - Day 8 Prompt: Draw a pony as a different species / Draw a pony starting over. Opaline as a dragon is an idea I've had for quite some time now - imagine if this happened in the show! (Admittedly, this could have been more elegant, but oh well.)
NATG XIII - Day 7 Prompt: Draw a pony experiencing love at first sight / Draw a pony falling for someone. What better ponies to do this prompt with than Queen Haven and Alphabittle? I personally love this ship (as do others), and would love to see them get married. (not to mention Sweetie Belle just casually stalking them in the background lel)
NATG XIII - Day 6 Prompt: Draw a pony playing a sport / Draw a pony experiencing the bliss of triumph or the agony of defeat. I had many ideas for this prompt, one of which involved Shining Armor and Twilight Sparkle successfully stealing a cookie jar. In the end, I drew Spike winning a gem-encrusted trophy and a lifetime supply of cookies! Hooray!
NATG XIII - Day 5 Prompt: Draw a pony enjoying nature / Draw a pony finding harmony in chaos.
Here I took the latter prompt a bit literally - Auri Spectre somehow finds the Big Crown Thingy amidst a sea of chaos! What happens next? (The cat is from a drawing I had done some time ago, while the sky was inspired by the background used for the 2020 BFB animator auditions.)
NATG XIII - Day 4 Prompt: Draw a pony with a secret mission / Draw a pony being sly as a fox. This is sort of a continuation of my previous one, featuring the changeling disguised as Fluttershy. This time, he attempts to sneak into a party... for reasons unknown. (The pony in the doorway is meant to be Posey Bloom, though I didn't feel like drawing her mane or tail.)
NATG XIII - Day 3 Prompt: Draw a pony gearing up / Draw a pony taking the world by storm. Here we have "Fluttershy" (actually a changeling in disguise, though you wouldn't know it) captivating the ponies of Maretime Bay!... except Posey Bloom, of course. (This took me a couple of hours to finish, since I used my new drawing tablet that I got yesterday to do it; that also explains why it looks a bit rough.)
NATG XIII - Day 2 (Contains mild/moderate spoilers for Make Your Mark Chapter 4.) Prompt: Draw a pony making their move / Draw a pony bursting with life. For today's prompt, I drew Misty with her new cutie mark, walking towards Mane Melody to get her mane dyed. (I didn't really feel like drawing Maretime Bay properly, which is why the background is rather simple.)
Done for Equestria Daily's Newbie Artist Training Grounds: Day 1: Draw a pony standing / Draw a pony frozen in time. It's Moonstone from G1, just standing there... menacingly! (Or not.) I may or may not have grown attached to her...

(Totally forgot to post this when I finished it) I tried to draw myself in the style of the official DR character portraits! It was originally a pen sketch that I scanned and colored digitally (two pictures bc one of them is transparent)
