Pluto’s rules

➼ When writing character x reader, I will only write male, gender neutral, or FTM readers. Nothing against character x fem!reader fics! I just personally don’t think I write female reader fics well. That and there always seems to be a lack of male reader fics, and I’m here to fix that 

➼ I will write sfw, nsfw, fluff, and angst. All of my fics will have warnings if there is any nsfw content or anything potentially triggering

➼ Things that I will not write: nsfw for any characters under 18, in depth descriptions of self harm, suicide, or eating disorders. Some of these hit too close to home and I also don’t want to accidentally write anything offensive or wrong about these topics as I don’t know every single thing about them.

➼ I will write both character x character fics and character x reader, though I do not write for other people’s ocs. I feel like I can’t write another person’s original character as well as that person could!

trying to watch Bridgerton in my sitting room but this room has got roughly five windows, two of them coming from the ceiling, and it's just. it's not working. there are SO MANY dark scenes where all i can see is a pretty pink dress and some candles. "Who's that on screen?" my dad asks and i cannot reply. I do not know. i cant see their face. its a never ending struggle. supernatural. the walking dead. the vampire diaries. merlin. supernatural again. every single tv show has scenes that you just cant watch during the day, even with the curtains closed and of course they happen to be slap bang in the middle of an interesting episode or the like

arthur skipping “are you okay” and going straight to asking “what is it?” already knowing something’s up with merlin is doing something to me

An AU where Merlin is literally a God in Mordred’s eyes. Like, a genuine God.

In this AU Mordred and Merlin’s relationship is not fucked up by prophecy. So, everytime, kindhearted Merlin saved Mordred without hesitation. And Mordred grew up in a Druid camp that reinforced the idea that Emrys was a literal god. So naturally, HE WORSHIPPED MERLIN.

Once Arthur became king and magic was legalised, Mordred came to Camelot to become a knight because that was the best way to serve Emrys.

But when he arrived at Camelot, he struggled to comprehend the fact that Merlin was… human???? A very clumsy one, in fact. The rest of Camelot, though might know about Merlin magic, did not know how great ‘Emrys’ actually was so they were just confused, concerned, and/or entertained by Mordred’s ‘crush’ on Merlin.

He would stare at Merlin the entire first meal they had together, and people would be like: awww, Sir Mordred is crushing on Merlin so hard!!

Mordred: Emrys??eats??food?Food??Is ?eaten?by? Emrys?emrys?consumes?meal????

Or when he saw Merlin tripped on the training field

Mordred: i think the area is cursed. Strongly cursed.

Leon: what—

Mordred: THEN WHY ELSE WOULD EMRYS TRIPPED?????

Arthur: So, how have you adjusted to life in Camelot so far? Is there anything that is bothering yo—

Mordred: Merlin

Arthur: what did my stupid manserva- I mean Court Sorcerer do-

One thing that I keep forgetting, that makes me absolutely feral every time I remember it, is who Merlin is in Arthur's POV.

We, as an audience, know how capable, powerful and trustworthy Merlin is. It's so obvious to us and we know how much he deservers Arthur's trust and respect.

We go "Ha ha, Arthur is so oblivious" or "I can't believe Arthur said that to Merlin".

But that's the thing. We keep forgetting how unaware Arthur is of who Merlin actually is.

To Arthur, Merlin is some peasants boy who came out of nowhere. Somebody who acted way above his station. Someone who has no notable skill.

And he STILL trusts Merlin more than anyone else.

He doesn't know he's a powerful sorcerer like we do. To him, he's just some guy. A servant.

And we know that Arthur isn't someone who judges by station, but the sheer amount of trust he places in Merlin is absolutely beautiful.

Merlin knew about the destiny. Arthur didn't. And he was still so helplessly devoted to Merlin.

Reincarnation Fic Idea

We usually get reincarnation fics from Arthur and Merlin’s perspective but I think it would be funny to see it from everyone else’s perspective. 

As soon as Arthur wakes up and rises from the lake it triggers everyone’s memories of the past lives, Gwen, Morgana, Lance, Gwaine, Leon, Percival, Mordred, Elyan. Cue guilty Morgana and redemption arc. Morgana devises a plan to bring them all together and while they are understandably unhappy to see her, she informs them that the reason they must have regained their memories is that Arthur must have risen from Lake Avalon.

Cue panic when they realize that an Arthur from 1500 years in the past is wondering around in the modern day world looking for Camelot. 

Gwen: He must be so scared. He’s out there looking for a Camelot that no longer exists!

Gwaine: If he’s not in a mental hospital. Going around saying I’m King Arthur of Camelot with steel armor and a sword doesn’t scream sane.

Leon: I hope he hasn’t attacked anyone. God, what if he’s in jail.

Elyan: He’ll have food in a mental hospital or jail at least.

Gwen: He has no money, no food, no home, no family! We have to find him!

They go on a search while running into multiple shenanigans and learning how much they relied on Merlin while they are all worried sick for Arthur.

Meanwhile, because Merlin had hundreds of years to prepare for this and is on top of everything

Arthur: *lying on his and Merlin bed in a robe, his hair clipped back, face mask on, legs kicking back and forth in the air, eating popcorn while watching period dramas*

So....I guess I'm expanding my fandoms a bit....this was actually technically  requested by moelalahime, but more as a prompt on the "who" to draw for todays sketch....I'll continue to draw requests if someone sends me an ask with a couple/ship, and I've seen the show....even if I don't particularly ship them.

Every time I have a rough day, I remember that there's a website I can go onto and post about Merlin- either heartwarming funny scenarios or heartbreaking angst- and I know that some people will read it in their heads with a Kermit the Frog voice because of my profile pic, and that always puts a smile on my face :)

Wow, I wasn't expecting to wake up to the news that Merlin's trending again, but I love it! To celebrate, here's another au prompt!

In this au, Arthur finds out about the prophecy of Emrys and the Once and Future King, and, in true himbo fashion, he knows that Merlin is Emrys, but he doesn't know who this "Once and Future King" is supposed to be. So, of course, he gets insanely jealous, thinking that some random guy with a powerful magical sword is going to swoop in, steal his throne, take Merlin from his side, and usher in an era of peace while Arthur is cast aside, forgotten.

Arthur simply cannot accept this, even if this Once and Future King is supposedly Merlin's soulmate, the one who will complete him. So, when Arthur repeals the ban on magic, he includes the stipulation that if the Once and Future King is ever discovered, he should be immediately executed on the grounds of high treason for attempting to steal the throne.

Mordred, distraught and turning to Merlin: Shouldn't well tell him?! Merlin, completely unphased: Nah, he'll figure it out eventually.

Arthur also gets hints from the druids, who are trying to get him to figure out that he is actually the Once and Future King, but Arthur always misunderstands their hints.

Druids: The time of the Once and Future King is at hand, sire. He has already taken up his holy sword, and his people rally behind him, inspired by his leadership and valor.

Arthur: This motherfucker already has his magic sword AND an army?! MERLIN! Send word to Leon to ready to knights for war!
