Marlo

I made this piece for the upcoming merry month May; I decided that since this is the month of the mermaid. I would make a watercolor painting of a mermaid race called Merrow, whom I named Marlo after Raymond Chandler's famed hardboiled detective Philip Marlowe.

Marlo's physical appearance is inspired by model Jennifer Atilemile; Jennifer's strike beauty was very easy for me to transform into this great mythical creature you see before you.
