☆ UPCOMING STORY SNEAK PEEKS ☆
story 1: midnight rain
midnight: it was a noun to some, simply meaning the middle period of night. but to a little girl, it was her mother's hero name.
gifted a strong quirk hailing from her father's side, and a stronger personality from midnight herself, that little girl grows into the strongest storms you pray to only see in your nightmares.
and yet, like both her parents, she looks like a daydream all the same.
though, it didn’t start out like that; in fact, at the start, nemuri wasn’t sure if she even could raise a child herself.
and she couldn’t.
but with the help of her two well-meaning, slightly idiotic friends, the task seemed just a bit less daunting.
story 2: cowboy like me
a young con artist, the best of her kind, gets a job when a fellow con man introduces her to a villain in need of her deception skills.
the job requirements? infiltrate UA and weasel her way into shoto todoroki—as well as his family's—life.
for a year and a half.
it was a long con, and she was never a fan of those. especially when the chances of being caught by the number two hero were astronomically high.
but when the criminal dropped a stolen and stuffed moneybag at her feet? of course he became her newest employer.
the girl may as well have been walking into a burning lions den. still, she’d obviously bring her A-game and not rest until every last one of them was completely fooled.
forever is the sweetest con, right?
story 3: clara bow
the general public had their doubts about the H.P.S.C. and a small few had the guts to voice it. one day, the words caught flame and began to negatively sway opinions of the organization.
the president knew she had to act quickly to maintain their pristine image of innocence. and what better way to convey that, than with a bright-eyed poster child?
now, she wouldn't use hawks for this; his big hero debut was already scheduled for his eighteenth birthday.
instead, enter project: poseidon.
it all started with the adoption of a five year old who gained her quirk and lost her father—a dear member of the H.P.S.C.—in the same night. what seemed like kindness, was only twisted preservation of the status quo.
but hey, what do you know? the media is a sorry sucker for motherly madam president and her abundant, charitable heart.
the whole country watched the young profitable girl at the woman’s side, raised in the dazzling, blinding spotlight.
and wow.
it's hell on earth to be heavenly.

kind of an actor au where the characters of my hero academia are also voice actors and takami keigo is literally EVERYWHERE. He genuinely is in so much media that it's impossible to list all his roles... and hes never the main character or anything! Just a supporting character, maybe even ones that don't have much screen time! And whenever he shows up, it blindsides people every. single. time.

To meee i always thought or hc'd that it was at first a bonding thing between touya and fuyumi and then later on while dabi was living on the streets he had to learn to get better at it and stuff because he couldn't put trash into his body with all his health issues ykwim 😕😕😕
in my head Touya’s really good at cooking. I have yet to find a logical explanation but it just makes sense. Keigo…he should just order takeout instead.
i love dabihawks. i love everything about it. i think they should kiss all the time. but my favourite part of dabihawks is the pining. THE PINING!!! I dont think this is an unpopular opinion tbf because the fics ive seen give them a generous amount of chapters to pine over each other and i eat that shit up everyyyy time. dont care if theyre some weird situationship or if theyre enemies or if theyre hero partners. if theres no pining what are they !!! they are made for pining !!! bonus points because both of them are absolutely insane so the pining is so obvious but they remain oblivious to it and everyone around them are suffocating in the tension. best part of dabihawks.

MEETING HAWKS:
he clocks you immediately during a hero meeting. it's not just your hero costume (though, let's be real, he appreciates a good design). he's sizing you up strategically, noting your power, your demeanor, and how you interact with the other heroes. it's professional... at first.
your first real conversation happens during a joint mission. maybe you're both tracking a villain known for their swift escapes, and you end up covering the rooftops together.
he'll make a comment about your performance in the mission. he will call you by 'miss/sir', as it is only professional. but he will compliment you, no matter what goes wrong.
he's observant. he notices small details about you – the way you handle your quirk, the way you interact with civilians, even the brand of coffee you're sipping. this info goes straight into his mental file labeled "things i find interesting about [reader's hero name]."
he's testing the waters, dropping subtle hints. a casual "maybe we should grab coffee sometime and compare notes?" is pure hawks – playing it cool while secretly wanting to know everything about you.
HAWKS CRUSHING ON YOU:
he starts "coincidentally" showing up where you are. training facilities, hero galas, even that one yakitori place you love. he'll play it off as being in the area, but we all know better.
teasing. SO MUCH TEASING. he'll poke fun at your hero name, your costume quirks, anything he can get away with. but it's always lighthearted and playful, never mean-spirited. it's his way of gauging your reactions and pushing your buttons (in a good way, of course).
feather messages become your new norm. they arrive at your agency, your apartment, maybe even during a stakeout. short, silly notes or helpful Intel, always signed with a mischievous feather flourish.
he seeks you out specifically during large gatherings. he is a social butterfly, but he will try to talk to you. he will always try to have you close to him than other people.
he starts confiding in you about the commission, about his doubts and worries. he doesn't do this with just anyone. you're earning his trust, and with keigo, that's a BIG deal.
DATING HAWKS:
dates are never stuffy or predictable. think rooftop picnics with a city view, late-night patrols fueled by convenience store snacks, and impromptu karaoke sessions. he keeps it fun and spontaneous.
He's a toucher. a hand on your back, a playful nudge, a casual arm around your shoulders. nothing too intense, but always a reminder that he's there and he's into you.
PDA is subtle but sweet. no grand gestures, but you might find him absentmindedly playing with your hair while you're talking, or leaning in close to whisper something in your ear.
he sends you pictures of chickens. sometimes he “finds” them on the side of the street. or see them in the pet store. if he does see chickens, he will send it to you.
he opens up more about his past, about his fears and his dreams. he is still guarded, but he lets you see glimpses of the real keigo takami, the one behind the wings and the bravado.
he's fiercely protective. Not in a controlling way, but he's always looking out for you, making sure you're safe and comfortable. he'll take on any villain who dares to threaten you.
he makes corny jokes, especially chicken/bird-related ones.
he will make you feel the safest you've ever felt in your life. after everything he has went through, he will try to protect you with his life.
falling asleep on his wings is the best thing ever. just don't be surprised when you wake up covered in feathers.

I actually headcanon Hawks being a virgin. I mean, with the hero commission breathing down his neck, his never-ending hero work, and working towards his goal of creating a society where heroes have to much time on their hands our birdman just doesn't have the time. But somehow, he was given the reputation of being a playboy and doesn't understand where it came from.
