i used the alterium method, and i was scripting for a bit beforehand while watching bnha, then i listened to a bnha sub and affirmed for a bit before falling asleep, waking up, affirming a bit more and just kinda shifted!!

they have waterproof earbuds n headphones in my bnha dr (like you can wim and shower n shit w/ them on) and let me tell you they r a NEED aughhhhh

in my bnha dr i have a pair of white shoes that can change up like they r converse one second combat boots the next and heels and they can also turn into roller skates just bc (you just tap a sensor on the side diff numbers of times and it changes)

THEY DONT HAVE TIGER BALM IN MY BNHA DR ITS SO AWFUL (screaming sobbing fell to my knees in my kitchen)

i have a cat that i don’t have in my CR called tiramisu yum. Technically she does exist in my CR she just doesn’t belong to me☹️ she’s a stray that lives at the pharmacy and they sorta take care of her there😞 BUT SHE’S ALL MINE IN MY DR‼️‼️ yippee. i talk about that damn cat all the time istg🧍‍♀️

def the whole sorting ceremony/ritual/whatever you wanna call it + meeting the rest of my house ESPECIALLY the marauders + the valkyries like it's the I am going to know these ppl for the next over 7 years holy shit + i'm so excited feeling yk?? // marauders dr

(bnha/mha dr) two words, school festival. that wole arc is probably one of my all time favs (probably bc it's not actively traumatizing us) and i'm so excited to experience it!!! also the CONCERT THING?? dude I am such a sucker for y/n moments and this is literally my time to shine fr bc ik me n jirou r gonna eat that shit uppppp (adding a read more bc this is long asfff)

(lil bit of bg info) so when I was scripting this arc I was like huh... what part should I do in the concert thing?? and I had the idea to do tech crew and I was chill w/ it bc like ok I can fly thats useful asf and wings would get in the way of dancing anyway, but then I was listening to hero too (don't judge me its motivating asf) n I was like oh yk what there are a LOT of moments in here that would benefit from added harmonies or have unexplained backup singing (an example is around 3:13 in the song but it's everywhere) bc it's supposedly live right??? like idk if its supposed to be just layered vocals or an echo or whatever but I took that shit and RAN and was like yk what I didnt script I could sing crazy well for nothing bitch I'm singing backup now <3 also I absolutely stole that whole outro bc it fits so so well w my backstory how could I not??? anyway tangent over but yeah i'm genuinley soso excited ajdskjskj

fun fact I have an amazing sense of smell in my cr but apparently god had to fucking nerf me so I'm congested like 80% of the time

anyway let's go fr (all of this is from my bnha/mha dr bc thet's the only place i've shifted)

this super specific type of cleaner spray for countertops that we use, it kinda smells like very citrus-y but with notes of mango i've never smelled anything like it here, so it's probably not a thing here, but my and hawk's apartment smells like it like 24/7 (it's called zesty sparkle 😭😭)

kei always gets this spicy ass garlic-y chicken when he comes back from a really crazy patrol, and it smells SO GOOD but i risk my life every time i eat that shit on godddd

i use this shea butter/oil stuff for my feathers so they're nice and shiny and clean looking, and it smells literally the best i would eat it by the jar if i could holy shiiiiiiit

so i scripted that i'll wake up on the morning i go school shopping w/ lily (i scripted that we're childhood friends <3) so i'm really excited to meet and talk to her tbh!!!! //marauders dr

the sports festival ESPECIALLY the midoriya/todoroki fight and the uraraka/bakugou fight (basic ik) I just think quirk usage overall is gonna be really cool, also I love uraraka and that's one of my fav moments for her // mha/bnha dr

camp half-blood!!!! specifically the cabins and the climbing wall!!! genuinley one of my fav parts of my pjo and hoo drs and i'm so excited to experience it aughhhh // pjo/hoo drs

honestly probably either the possibility of villain attacks, being worried for my brother if he's out on a mission or on a longer patrol, or school in general (lmao)

i cope mainly by either distracting myself or yapping tbh, or I just cry and listen to music for a bit and feel better after (scarily similar to my cr but whatever)

🌜; what are three specific daily quirks you’ll have to get used to in your dr?

flying 100%. I scripted I already have a really good handle on my quirk, so I can do it, but it'll definitely take getting used to

having to be at least mostly independent (aka grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning etc.) because while kei does like try to be there, hero work is definitely time consuming

dorm life, once I get to that point in the timeline, i think it'll be super fun once I get used to it tho so i'm actually really excited

okok this is a basic one fr but i'm def missing my friends like I haven't shifted there yet but I just feel so connected to that dr sometimes like just having a rlly close knit group of friends and being able to hang out all the time (rare boarding school pro) and just have magic n shit. i miss my pets, I have two cats and a barn owl there, and I'm so excited to meet them bc one of my cats in that dr is based off of my cat here and I love her sm!!! honestly i'm just so excited for the pure vibes of like school being a teenager and just fucking around and having fun fr this makes no sense fr and is def so incoherent but whatever.

h2o dr:

i already swim a lot in my cr (i'm on a swim and dive team and live near/on a whole beach) and i just hang out near the water so much and it makes me feel so close to that dr like I haven't shifted there yet (shocker) but I just know it's gonna be so cool to be able to just be underwater and not have to come up for air or get out is so relaxing and with friends???? i'm just so excited for the like summer vibe of the whole dr bc it's so tropical there and there's sm wildlife and things to do!!!! (ps if you're an h2o shifter GET OVER HERE I CANNOT FIND ANY H2O SHIFTERS ANYWHERE IT'S SO PAINFUL FR)

ah yes the dr that started off my whole shifting journey. despite all the trauma n shit i'm probably gonna experience i'm so so excited to go back!!! i'm so excited to be able to meet 1-A especially like uraraka hagakure tsuyu and kirishima!!!! they r my favs fr and it's gonna be so fun omgggg also just being able to hang out with kei (aka hawks he's my brother) like sometimes you just need your brother there yk?? but just getting to fuck around & have fun & experience the world I'm so excited to go back!!!!!!

this is a newer dr, but honestly is one of the ones i'm most excited for mostly bc of my friends and just being at camp and going on quests. like just getting to experience everything with percy annabeth & grover n figuring shit out is probably a highlight fr. also getting to meet all my siblings (both godly side & mortal side) is gonna be so great like there are five of us and you're telling me we aren't gonna be absolute menaces to everyone??? but just pure fun and shit yk

SHIFTING QOTD TIME!! i love how i say it’s a daily thing but then skip a day. In my defence the electricity in my room blew up literally soni had no wi-fi yesterday💔

Lately i’ve been feeling weirdly homesick and missing people i technically haven’t even met yet.

Ofc homesickness sucks in general, it’s not really considered that serious so it’s easy to brush off but I think a lot of people fail to consider homesickness is more than missing a place you call home, but also the people that make it a home. (What goofy ahh movie did i steal this off…?)

Not to mention, all that goes without considering shifting homesickness, where ur left to miss people and places quite literally beyond ur realm of existence.

Anyways, considering just how many drs the average shifter has it makes sense that you probably have a lot of people to miss while in your CR, like your close friends, family, an s/o, pet(s). The people that make your dr feel like home.

there are a few bigger brands that make clothes with mutants in mind, since it's pretty common to have a mutated appearance, even if it's not part of your quirk (ex: tokoyami, koda). a pretty popular brand is M/∞ (people pronounce it as 'M infinite' but i've heard 'M slash in' too). There's also brand specifically for winged quirk users, called SkyHigh, but it's a little more niche bc it's more specific. The clothes are also little more expensive bc of the added features like zippers ties cutouts etc. so i'll sometimes just cut holes in my tops and hem the edges 💀

I stayed in my dr for about 3 weeks, and I shifted in around 2 months before the UA entrance exams, so I haven't gotten to the sports festival yet, but I scripted that I'm taking the recommendation exam bc why not lmao

literally love keigo honestly, he's so chill when he isn't in the public eye. we're pretty close, bc we've pretty much only got each other (oooooh backstory I should make a post for that). He talks to himself a lot, like full on rants and conversations to nobody. He has a tiktok and other socials and posts the most insane shit on there it's a miracle the commission hasn't shut them down yet lmaoooo

honestly, I haven't gotten too much attention for my quirk like out and about other than a couple double takes, staring, and younger kids doing the classic point & stare. public transit and really crowded places suck (wings take up space).

hero costume!!!!!!!! as I said I haven't actually started school yet but I did script my summer and winter hero costumes, so here they are!!!

so as y'all can see I have a day version and night version, and how that works is my hero costume is engineered for the fabric color to change based on the lighting conditions around me through light sensors all over the suit in order for better camouflage and recon ability.

- name: owl - type: mutant a lil self explanatory but basically I can do anything an owl can, my quirk gives me owl wings, talons, enhanced hearing, sight, & night vision, vocal range, etc. since my wings etc are part of my body permanently, they work like a muscle, so I can't fly for too long without getting tired (like walking or running). to be able to fly, I have hollow bones, which are a lot easier to break, and have to stay on the lighter side, which means I have an incredibly hard time building bulk & muscle mass i am affected a lot more by loud sounds & overwhelming stimuli bc of my advanced senses i get seasonal molts & shedding, leaving me unable to fly and function much for about a week out of the year
