Gale decides that enough is enough and takes matters into his own hooves. With his only son not being able to do the most simple of spells and still having no cutie mark it is worrying to him. Gale has an old friend in Caterlot and decides to enlist him with the task of helping Beau find his talent and hopefully along the way his magic.
Beaus natural magic ability isn’t up to the standard that Gale expects. Will he ever be able to make his farther happy?

Playing around with making my story primarily told in an anthro style, to make it more general audience and avoiding copyright stuff… idk tho
Not sure on how I want to stylize faces, trying between a mix of regular anime face and half pony anthro. I do love the elegant face types of the princesses in the Pony style in the show.
Size comparison between Helia, Starseer and a random Pegasus. Alicorns are huge and tall!! Alicorns are meant to be divinely charged protectors. they are powerful and fight monsters, gotta be a better size match up against those!

My Changeling Queen! Her name is either going to be Queen Aphid or Queen Odonata. Kinda leaning towards the former.
I wanted to give her more of a yellowish color palette, but I think I’ll still adjust slightly, don’t want her looking too much like a chrysalis redesign.
In terms of personality, she is a bit different from chrysalis, she genuinely cares for her hive and they are her children. Though she is just as ruthless about her rule and her conquest for her children. She doesn’t collaborate with other hives of her kind, as is typical for changelings. They are like bees after all, they stick to their own hives business for the most part ( and every pony else’s when comes to maintaining their food source). they definately get their nose in the Ponies business, politics, etc etc.

Starseer and an unnamed pony. WIP
All art and concepts are a WIP and are subject to change as I work out my characters and storyline. Spoilers ahead!
this gal is a singer/musician! She is the earth pony of the group, small town gal just along for the ride! She feels a duty to help her ruling princess Alexandria, so she tags along with the group.
Her special talent is singing, and her earth pony magic manifests as her ability to speak to animals, who often join her in song.
Aside from this innate/passive use of magic, she doesn’t cast spells hardly at all and has no real knowledge of how magic even works. Her casting a spell would be weak and limited, if she ever was taught.
Once starseer goes out in public spaces more, she relies on this gal to guide her through the crowds she can only barely make out due to her eyesight.
An OC from when I was young, based on a small mlp figurine I had, who had a small misprint on her face, which made it look like she was crying a gold tear.
Her story was that she was born to unicorn parents and supposed to be a unicorn, but was born an earth pony. With more magic than earth ponies normally have, she is in a constant state of crying to rid herself of the excess magic.
She likes gardening but isn't able to leave her home much as her magic tears have a tendency to cause chaos on whatever they drip on.
I think she probably was in and out of the hospital a lot when she was young.
