It often crossed my mind how the poor folk living in the monster-ridden nature's ditch must feel like living in the shadow of the grand and majestic capital of Skyrim.

The finishing is heavily inspired by the wonderful @kalihoffs and her series of Skyrim holds posters.
When I escaped the dragon and safely arrived to Riverwood Faendal was the first living being to greet me (well, except the chicken of course xD). He stood there, basking in the sunlight, waiting with his quest. In the distance loomed a vision of our forthcoming adventure in Bleak Falls Barrow.

Today is a boiling hot, dusty day and it feels like everything is about to melt... But you can't be happier - your dad takes you on a tour to his workplace in a cool, damp mine full of giant kwamas and little scribs :D
The work in a mine is hard and exhausting - but he won't let you toil since you're his little princess on a very special trip :3

I have a theory that Talvas must have had really strict parents that would give him love on the condition he performed well.
Growing in such a family he became demanding towards himself in the later life. Only someone who never knew a warm place in the childhood would consider that living in Tel Mithryn is "not bad".
You may like baby Yoda or even baby Rick but I prefer baby Neloth :3

I do love speculating what kind of kind of environment and ppl could have created such an ideal a jerk.
I believe that his mother was a renegade cave necromancer on Vvardenfell, maybe of an Ashlander origin. She was probably so disagreeable that she dumped his father and brought up her son on her own. She flooded her son with admiration and managed to pass down her ambitions onto her child. Growing with no father figure, there was no one in his early childhood to burst the bubble of Neloth's self-absorbed delusions... that's how Neloth became Neloth :3
Do you have any theories about the Neloth's past yourself?

Wait... there's this switch you forgot to turn on. Yes! The whole robot-robot aggression mechanism is finally activated!
But - you've seated yourself between two robots, idiot!
