I drew Annette digitally today, tweeked their design a bit
Update- I’ve been working on this one for a while, stil getting used to digital art. Turns out, at the start I used the wrong kind of brush, a penicl kind, which made everything clumpy, blurry, and chunky. Working on fixing that right now, and there is still some of that pencil brush left- like on the bottom of the page. There is no mistaking that I’ve done better on paper, an I will probably post old bits of sketchbook later.
Tonight was creechur design night!
I think I’ll call it a cockatrice! I imagine it’s a scrappy critter, probably the size of a bengal tiger. This one is a cock, and those orange structures on its beak are for display, along with that fancy tail. I might do the hen sometime too! I got the inspiration from a Pokémon ai generator, so if it looks familiar, that’s why.
Lineart and flats tonight!
I love these two with my whole heart <3
Finished the polished sketch!! I’m super happy with how this turned out!
The runes on the armband mean “bear” and “protection”, as translated by a friend of mine who has studied ancient Norse runes. They’re awesome, but I don’t know if they have an account to tag.
The skull is that of a Eurasian brown bear, and yes, they really are that big.
ITS AAAAAAALLLL FINISHED!!!!
It was supposed to just be a simple sketch, but…. Well…. Oops?
Cheyenne Alder is an OC of mine. She was a propaganda artist for the Republic during the Clone Wars. Similar to how photographers followed the troops in the American Civil War to document what the front was like for the folks back home, she and a group of artists and photographers went along with some of the clone units. They all got very close with the troopers. Extremely close quarters kinda made getting along non-negotiable. After a traumatic experience in which they were caught behind enemy lines, captured, and used as bargaining tools, Cheyenne’s underlying anxiety got exponentially worse. Captain Rex sits with her through attacks sometimes, and it helps <3
Worked on a portrait of my barbarian and his baby in the Journey to Ragnarok campaign me and my friends are playing! His name is Iver, and his baby’s name is Ebbe, and he will bring the world to it’s knees if it will make the world safe for his little bear cub <3
Been thinking about a modern au where Hunter loses custody of Omega. Jango takes care of her until the Bad Batch is mentally capable of providing for her. She cries a lot the first night, so Boba decides to show her his favorite book. It is a book about military artillery, because this child was *not* peaceful. But it helps, and she eventually falls asleep leaning on his shoulder…
Five minute hand!! Well… minus blocking and sketch XD
I busted out the lines and color the day before yesterday! Don’t stay up till 3am making art, guys! You’ll regret it!
First freehand pose blocking and the cleaned sketch! I think it went pretty well… one of the characters is an oc, and the other is cannon. Betcha can’t guess which is which!
Good morning everyone! I recently got an iPad for art, and I thought it might be fun to share my learning process here. I have a little experience using a drawing tablet, but it really wasn’t working for me. The process of being able to see what I’m drawing under my pen is just too ingrained in me XD
This is the first thing I made: an imp oc named Madderhorn in the style of Helluva Boss. My friends and I really enjoy this show, and as a bit of an animation nerd, I think it’s a really cool project!
Madderhorn is the head librarian at the Goetia Family library. She is a no-nonsense, efficient boss lady who takes care of her staff like family. Because she employs mostly sinners in bad situations, she defends her people fiercely and has quite a lot of experience fighting just about anyone and in any circumstances. The third eye technically doesn’t give her any special powers. It does let her always keep at least one eye on things, though!
