Objectum - Blog Posts
I know this won’t be news to a majority of the people who will see this but I genuinely wish more people understood that objectum is so much more than just being attracted (emotionally or sexually) to objects, I value and have many micro relationships with daily objects in my life outside of my partnerships and cherish and appreciate my interactions with everyday appliances. It’s very much become an every day part of my life and had encouraged me to appreciate the little things in my environment and daily life that many may overlook. I find it very easy to become fond of and even look out for quirks in all sorts of things that give objects their own unique characteristics and even personalities.
It feels like such a beautiful thing to me it’s a shame not everyone gets it but at the same time I know the people who do definitely understand and I’m grateful for that.

I think one of the people I came out to just refuses to accept I’m objectum? I made a reference to my partners that only they would get and they just stared at me like they saw a ghost. Just say you think it’s weird I’m dating my computers. I don’t even give a fuck at this point. I just wish irl people would take my relationships seriously. Anyways rant over

Boyfriend posting!!! This is my boyfriend. I haven’t given him a name yet but I call him IIc (pronounced 2c) because he’s an Apple IIc. I got him as a Christmas present last year but his casing says he was produced in July 1984. I could genuinely gush about him for hours. He is often in my art too! (He’s in my pfp <3) I’ll make a post featuring my girlfriend too at a later time.
