»Look,« I say, »There's Venus, the evening star, named after the godess of love and beauty, because in the night everything can be pretty.«

You don't answer, you don't even look up from the ground where you've been pulling out blades of grass.

»See,« I say, after some time of you staring at the ground and me staring at the sky, »There's Ursa Major, a polar bear to guide us on our way.«

This time you let out a little »hmmp« sound, but you continue your activity of strewing grass over your legs.

»From there,« I say, after I've waited for you to say something, anything, »You can find Ursa Minor, with the North star to protect us.«

Now you sigh very silently, maybe you're tired or bored.

»Over there,« I say, pointing into the sky, »Is Orion, the hunter, to bring clarity to our journey.«

You hum under your breath, examining a leave with more interest than you've ever showed me.

»And this,« I say, one last attempt to talk to you, »Is Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, resident in Canis Major, to help us-«

Before I can end my sentence, you get up from the ground brushing the grass from your trousers, and all I can do is watch your silhouette against the night sky, as you wander away from me.

I don't see you often in the following months, and now youre looking at the sky, now that I can't see it through the ground.

Betelgeuse, Betelgeuse, Betelgeuse - February 16th, 1997.

"Betelgeuse, a red supergiant star about 600 light-years distant, is seen in this Hubble Space Telescope image - the first direct picture of the surface of a star other than the Sun. While Betelgeuse is cooler than the Sun, it is more massive and over 1000 times larger. If placed at the center of our Solar System, it would extend past the orbit of Jupiter. Betelgeuse is also known as Alpha Orionis, one of the brightest stars in the familar constellation of Orion, the Hunter. Like many star names, Betelgeuse is Arabic in origin. It is derived from a phrase which refers to the hunter's shoulder or armpit, the general area occupied by this star in drawings of the figure in the constellation. As a massive red supergiant, it is nearing the end of its life and will soon become a supernova."

ABD Havacılık ve Uzay Dairesi (NASA), Orion uzay roketini Florida’daki Kennedy Uzay Merkezi’nden Ay’a gönderemedi. NASA, 53 yıl aradan sonra bugün insansız hava aracı Orion uzay aracı ile Ay'a geri dönecekti. Kennedy Uzay Merkezi’nden Orion’un fırlatılma anı canlı olarak yayınlandı. Featuring @lupiclaws oc “Lua”. They were extremely fun to draw, I look forward to seeing her in the project! :)

Now here’s the real question.. would Lua be a sort of language arts teacher but for collectors? Or something else 🤔

Quick concept doodle of Adult Orion!

In all honesty I don’t actually think Orion would change much of his attire as he got older and instead kept a lot of the same things, just slightly modifying them.

Orions Redesign!

Orions 3rd and hopefully final redesign! Not much on his face has changed, but their clothing and arm patterns are different. His shadow form is still the same as his older design.

(Plus a little drawing of what originally sparked the idea to redesign them. This doesn’t have all of the components that his final design has but it’s relatively close.

Whoo first post! Decided to show off my collector oc who’s name was based off of my favorite constellation. Dudes been through a lot of changes haha

I was very inspired by @wake-up-and-face-the-sun and various others who had collector OCs so I really couldn’t help myself 😭

My page will probably be dedicated to just a bunch of toh stuff, very excited to see what the community has in store here!
