Had the hilarious thought process the other day of "if the Rantaro effigy is in Kokichi's room then he had to haul that thing across the whole damn school" and while surely that happened in the middle of some night to avoid everyone... I'm just saying, someone could've absolutely seen and/or heard him

So I've been cross-stitching a lot recently and literally everything ive made in the past few weeks are danganronpa characters

And i had a bunch of hand made pins from before the current stitching obsession

And literally all of that (alongside some keychains and stuff) goes on my main bag i carry everywhere

And obviously out of the most recent batch of pins, two are just kaito and kokichi

And during the past month of me going absolutely INSANE over dr my poor roommate had to witness my neverending hyperfixation on dr and Especially oumota

So when the kaito and kokichi pins were put together the only reaction i got was just

I don't even know how to express this, something something about Kaito wanting a rival he can be somewhat "one" with and him having to literally impersonate Kokichi in chapter 5?

Do you guys see what im getting at or am I going crazy.

I don't wanna derail the post but I saw someone talking about how the way Kokichi died would have been the most ideal to him, because there wouldn't be a body for anyone to see how he felt in his final moments. So he gets to die without that mask ever slipping off or for anyone to see his true self even in his final moments...

... Except, Kaito did.

Kaito knows how Kokichi behaved in his final moments. Whether or not he cried or screamed or wailed. Whether or not he was scared or at peace or thought he deserved the death he brought upon himself. He knows his final words, or if he didn't have anything left to say.

He knows. He knows, and brought that secret with him to his own grave.

Kaito’s hypothetical reaction to kokichi’s death will never not be on my mind, the whole situation is tragic and you can see in the closing argument that when the time to actually press the button that would close the press on kokichi came, he did it with his eyes closed tight

Still, a body being crushed and essentially liquified would make a noise, a gross squeak or maybe a loud crunch as the bones turned into dust, maybe both idk but I’m sure it wasn’t pleasant, so, how did kaito react? Did he cry? The smell of blood must have been overwhelming, did he throw up? Did he even looked at what was left of kokichi?

Maybe he was in more of a dissociative state and only even realized what he had done once he was alone in the exisal, with kokichi’s ghost in the form of the script, whispering in his ear that he had blood on his hands now
