This is Eman a Biotechnologist from Gaza. Asking for help is not easy. It's not easy at all. You have no idea how mentally and emotionally tiring this is. But when thinking that the price is my family's life, getting out of here safely and achieve my doctoral degree dream, it just pushes me more and more to do this until we reach our goal. Eman Zaqout works at Al-Shifa Hospital and Turkish Palestinian Friendship Hospital (TPFH) as a biotechnology specialist, serving cancer patients with compassion, care and skill. along with being a medical professional, Eman is also in the scientific field, conducting research in and out of the Gaza Strip. as a result of her hard work she has been awarded numerous scholarships, one of which is to attend a research project at McGill University in Canada. Eman returned to her home a month before the genocide began in the Gaza Strip.
while also pouring her entire being into her career, Eman is also a mother and wife. she's married to Mahmoud Zaqout, who with she has a 12 year-old son, Rakan, and a 10 year-old daughter, Seba. she used to live in her sweet neighborhood in the north.
this is Eman's neighborhood and family before the genocide...
... and this is what the IDF did to her home. Eman's family was forced out of their home and into unsanitary and undersupplied camps, where they are forced to live in displacement camps along with thousands upon thousands of other Palestinian families who were all subject to the same destruction and malice.
Eman's neighborhood, livelihood and happiness have been shattered, but not her resolve and determination. "The loss of my job, my home, and the comforting presence of my loved ones weighs heavily on my heart," Eman says on her GoFundMe page. "Nevertheless, I refuse to surrender to despair, clinging to the belief that brighter days lie ahead."
in the midst of destruction and despair, Eman is one of 22 women in the developing world who has been awarded an OWSD-PhD fellowship in order to pursue her PhD study in Malaysia. due to the Israeli forces occupying and closing the Rafah borders, however, she is stuck in Gaza and unable to achieve her dream.
she's determined to get her family out and back to safety as well as achieve her dreams, and you can help. with a $40,000 dollar goal, over $14,000 has already been raised to help evacuate Eman and her family.

This is one of my fav little unknown OW facts and I wish more people knew about this. I've know of this for years now but its such a neat little detail. She also had the 'I'm gonna have to shoot you down!' ow1 voiceline when using DM, further showing she would literally shoot the projectiles. Love her 💖
🐰 You know, I love the in game logistics of some of the Heroes' abilities, and sometimes when I mention them to people, they think about it and realize how crazy they are.
🐰 Like, we all know DVa's Defense Matrix stops projectiles. But people forgot or don't know that the in game explanation for this is that her hands as a professional gamer are so quick, and her reflexes are so good, that she literally shoots projectiles out of the air.
🐰 You can see it too if you look at DVa's hands during Defense Matrix, because you can see her thumbs pressing the buttons on her handles while she's stopping projectiles.
🐰 And like, it doesn't have to be a normal bullet either. She literally shoots laser/light projectiles like the weapons Tracer, Mercy, Orisa, etc. have. DVa is literally so fast with her hands, she can stop light based projectiles. She's literally faster than the speed of light.
🐰 I don't know about you, but I think that's a pretty neat detail and explanation. :)

Venting because I'm severely pissed.
Clear by my profile I'm an avid Dva player and I know how to play her.
I was playing with my sunshine today, and he asks me to play Dva because recently I've been afraid because the games have been completely ass.
So our first game, we win the first round because of me and our Pharah starts talking as if they're better than the enemy (who happens to have a pocket) whilst they have literally just 2k dmg. Whatever, idiot but I'll let it slide. So naturally we lose second and they have the GUTS to try and tell me to swap.
Neither of our dps are playing hitscan, my man is forced to Bap because they won't, he is getting completely diffed by the enemy Pharah, and I'm doing both the dps's dmg combined AND mitigated more, I'm the only reason we have a shot because the only one countering the Pharmercy is me and my partner. I'm a t500 tank. I know how to play Dva. I OTP her for Christ's sake. Wanna know this Pharah otp's rank?

We lost that game, I had 12k blocked and 13k mit, I told this moron to never try to teach me again, and then, guess what? Yep, next game, he's on the enemy team whilst I'm on dps. Friendly reminded I'm not that great at aiming. I'm on Ashe. We wipe the floor. Lmao.
To add salt to the wound, we went for one last game because I wanted to play Dva. We got this guy, Stich, yeah I'm calling you out dickhead, who thought it would be a great idea to try and pin the blame on me, calling my account 'bought' (nobody else has ever played on my account before ever, not even for fun) and all that dumb shit etc. Hun, their Tracer is 20-0 LOL, I'm peeling the entire game because your 'gm1' dumbass is so bad at positioning and so unaware of anything you can't kill them. Of course my dear duo has been trying to comfort and cheer me up all night because both of us know I'm not the one in the wrong (and buddy, I watched the reply, don't sit there and tell me you're gm1 and you're playing like that lmao, '4800 peak' lying out your arse moron that's PRO SR you fucking brainless dipshit), but I'm still incredibly annoyed so, ranting to let it off. I know I'm not wrong lmao but it's so shit to have people randomly start talking smack in QUICK PLAY games and trying to act like they know better than you. For the love of God people, please just be kind to those you're playing with, it costs nothing, and it makes you not a spineless loser.
On another note, I'd love to post anything Dva related and my ama's are open, appreciate anyone who stumbles across this and can sympathise with me. If you're getting attacked or deal with toxicity too, send a question, I'll listen. I know how it feels. Stop attacking other people, I didn't say a word to you until you decided to speak. I can't begin to even count how many people have told me to kill myself over a VIDEO GAME. If you're gonna be a toxic arse, please stop talking in chat.

Maybe you remember the mousepad but had no idea of all the other little things they sold. I bought this last month, as a Dva OTP I need to buy all things Dva. They're so beautiful and cute, the keychain is probably my favourite but I seriously love this collab and skin. Probably my third favourite Dva skin now. Bought from Weverse where all the other stuff is including the mousepad which sold out so quick btw but lucky for me I don't need one. Freaking adorable!
