Hey can we normalize not freaking out on someone when they get facts about Marvel, DC, or any big franchise wrong? Or when they supposedly mischaracterize a character? With these big franchises there is so much content to consume, you could be reading and watching it for your whole life and still be learning things, and there's always more content being made.
Sure there are basic facts: like Batman's parents were shot in an ally, Spider-Man was bitten by a radioactive spider, etc. But other than that, it's up to interpretation. If it's blatant mischaracterization I understand annoyance, especially in canon, but even then, they're characters. They can grow and change, and its not always how we expect. Plus, DC and Marvel are multiverses, things will differ from universe to universe- especially if that universe is a fan work.
Let's appreciate what we're given and if it's a fan work let's really really appreciate it. If you don't like it, you can obviously give constructive criticism (never on fanwork unless asked for), and you can share your opinion. I just think that we should give a little grace to the writers, because they have a lot of content to live up to, and we're probably fans with their own headcanons to begin with
If you hate on Tony Stark or Iron Man you suck. You just suck. If it's constructive criticism of his character or his actions or morals that's different, but if you just hate him cause "he's selfish" or "he's not really a hero" or "he's the worst of the Avengers" then you suck. If not a hero, what is he? He didn't start off as a good guy, but he realizes what he did wrong and changes it, and he does it without completely changing who he is as a person.
Tony Stark may be selfish and an asshole, but that does not make him selfless. He literally sacrifices himself in Avengers, and its not because he thinks he can make it or because he wants attention. He just cares about everyone and the world. He has trust issues and he's worried about himself, but he's also so worried about everyone else. He cares so much for Pepper and Happy and all of the Avengers. He is just scared to express it because bad things tend to happen when he cares about people.
I understand the criticism of him in Civil War, mostly because of how he brings Peter in, but from his pov it's perfectly reasonable. He agrees to the Accords because he is full of guilt. He feels like if he and the other Avengers agree to it the world will be a safer and more just place. They'll have accountability. Honestly it makes perfect sense from a civilian point of view. I'm not saying it was the right call or that Steve was wrong, his pov was perfectly reasonable too, given his history. But then Steve left and took half of Tony's family with him. Then he sided with- for all Tony's seen- a terrorist and the very thing he's trying to stop. Then when Tony finally realizes he's in the wrong, he finds out that Bucky killed his parents (the fact that he was being controlled was irrelevant at that point) and Steve knew about it. Knew about it, talked to Tony several times, and didn't tell him. Tony reacted rashes, but he literally found out that his best friends best friend killed his parents.
The thing about Tony bringing Peter in and not telling him anything is totally reasonable. Peter was just a kid, I know Tony was desperate and that Peter was already fighting bad guys, but it was still a bad call. I do think that Peter was told more than what was shown in the movie, and that he would have agreed with Tony regardless.
Anyway, this was just a really long rant post because everyone hates on Tony or says that there was no way Civil War could be right on both sides. This is not an invitation to hate on Steve or anyone else. It's definitely understandable from both sides unless you Don't Want to see both sides.

The two are strolling the city for a day and Peter’s chatting happily away before suddenly SLAMMING INTO TONY to push him out of the road, flipping off a rouge taxi, full “I’M WALKIN’ HERE” and everything. Meanwhile, Tony’s just losing it like “WHEN TF DID YOU GET AN ACCENT??”
Tony (sleep deprived) : Come on kid move aside we need to analyse the place.
Peter (half asleep) : Mr. Stark...what are you doing here...
Tony (moving way too fast) : working on your new lab what else....
Peter : Whhaaaatttttt
Tony : Yeah...move outta way...
Peter : Does Mrs. Potts know that you are in my apartment at 4 in the morning.

But other than that, they find that after knowing her for a long time, they have never seen Reader angry. The task? How long will it take until Reader finally breaks and gets angry after a few harmless pranks and teasing?

The sudden call of her name made the (hair colored) girl turn around, finding an approaching figure running towards her.
"Peter what's wrong?"
Peter stopped right in front of her looking guilty. "I'm really sorry.. The Spiderman drawing you gave me- during a- I-"
"Peter, calm down. Just tell me what happened."
"I- I brought the drawing you made of me to school to show Ned and MJ because MJ wanted some drawing inspiration and Ned thought it was cool by the way- But then after that I was out as Spiderman after school because there was a bad guy so I left my bag in an alleyway. Some things led to another and it might have gotten destroyed...
I'M SORRY! I knew you spent a lot of time making it and it looked really good and professional and-"
"Kid, calm down. Y/n isn't going to get angry at you just for that." Peter and Y/n turned their heads to the figure at the living room door. Tony Stark. He walked passed them to the kitchen as Y/n sighed and nodded before looking back at Peter.
"He isn't wrong-"
"Of course I'm right-"
"Tony shush, I'm speaking right now.. I'm not mad at you at all Peter. Besides, I scan all the drawings I finish so I could always send you another copy."
Peter sighed in relief before giving Y/n a tight hug. "Thankyouthankyouthankyou-"
"Don't you have somewhere to be right now kid?" Tony interrupted, causing Peter to let go before nervously smiling.
"Yes, I- urm. I'm going to go now. See you later Mr. Stark! Y/n!" Peter rushed out the door as Tony raised an eyebrow.
"Since when did he start calling you Y/n?"
"Since I asked him too instead of calling me by my hero name outside of work. Well, I've got some paperwork to get done. See you Tony."
It was the afternoon and coincidentally, all of the Avengers, minus Y/n, were hanging out in the living room. It was pure chaos. Fighting over tv rights, couch rights, annoying fellow Avengers, Bruce almost turning green, etc. And it was creating a big mess as well. But all the fighting came to an end when they all heard the clearing of a throat.
Y/n stood there at the doorway, looking unimpressed with her fellow Avengers while scanning the mess. Then, she just left, leaving the room in a state of sudden calmness. The Avengers all returned to their senses and found themselves sitting, just relaxing in the sudden calm atmosphere. Well, until Clint spoke up and point out what was left unspoken.
"I don't think I've ever seen Y/n angry before."
It was silent as all the Avengers thought over those words before Steve huffed. "I don't think I want to witness Y/n ever being angry." Some nodded in agreement to Steve's words.
"But I kind of want to see what it would be like." Spoke Tony. And you know when Tony is suddenly interested it would have turned into a competition, which is what happened.........

a/n: i just saw this idea on tiktok and i knew that i had to write about it so here it is! english it's not my first language so i'm sorry about any mistake, requests are open! take care of yourself pls <3
"No, Reid, don't go!" you shouted toward the TV as if it could hear you. You were watching an episode of Criminal Minds while half of your body was covered with a small blanket and you were waiting for Tom to finish what he was doing in his office so you could have dinner together.
"Baby!" Tom's agitated voice and his hurried footsteps on the stairs alarmed you, but not enough to stop you, so you just paused the episode and peeked your head out a little so you could watch it.
"Yeah? It's something wrong?" you asked when you saw him come towards you and he just stood in front of you with a small smile on his face as he looked at you. "What?"
"Nothing, you look so pretty and comfy sitting right there," you rolled your eyes and took the control to resume the episode, but he was quicker and took it out of your hands. "But, i need you to get up." he dropped the remote to the side and grabbed your arms to pull you up.
"I'm watching Criminal Minds, leave me alone," you complained and pouted as you got up, dropping the blanket to the floor. "You should watch it with me, Reid it's gonna die." you tried to invite him, but he wouldn't let go.
"No he's not." he replied with furrowed brows.
"How do you know that?" you asked without letting go of his hands.
"They can't kill Reid, not yet. They are only in the season two, it can't happen," he shook his head and put his hands on your waist. "Now, enough of talking about Criminal Minds and pay attention to me."
"Only if you give me a kiss." you pointed your lips and he quickly moved so he could give you a quick kiss and you smiled as he pulled away.
"Happy?"
"Yes. You can talk now."
"Jesus, finally," he rolled his eyes and you gave him a soft smack on his chest, then hugged him around the neck, his hands never leaving your waist. "Alexa, play 'It's been a long, long time." the beginning of the song began to play and you stopped hugging him so you could talk to him.
"Why that song? You know that reminds me of how that son of a bitch named Steve left Bucky for a woman that he kissed once!" Tom laughed at the grudge you held against Steve, at the end of Endgame, you'd never get over it.
"I know, but it also reminds you of christmas." he said and touched your nose, making you smile at the memory of last christmas.
"So what? It's may, not december," you said logically and then put your right hand on his cheek, letting him lean against it. "Are you on drugs, my love?" you ask and Tom laughed. He removed your hand from his cheek and kissed it before speaking again.
"Would you ever stop talking and let me explain?" he asked and you lowered your head a little, but he pulled you closer to his body, making you two stay in a position to dance. "Just imagine this, it's christmas day in probably seven years, upstairs are our kids sleeping and in a few minutes we have to get the presents and leave them under the tree; but before that, we are dancing, just like this."
"We are thinking about our beautiful wedding that we're gonna definitely have," you laughed a little and feeling the vibrations in his chest, Tom did too. "Thinking about our first child, our second and maybe we even thinking about having a third."
"No we're not, we definitely not thinking about having a third." you interrupted him and he laughed again, giving you a little kiss on your forehead and squeezing your hand a little tighter.
"Alright, we're not. But we are thinking about how happy we are, about our perfect family and how we really got all that we want. We are married, we have two children and we are being really happy, everything we dreamed of at the start of our relationship." you couldn't see it, but on Tom's face there was a big smile and his eyes were starting to get wet at the thought of how happy he would be in the future with you.
"I really want to live that with you." you pulled your head away from his chest and looked at him. Your gazes connected and you felt like you could see into each other's souls.
"I want it too." you both smiled for a second and then connected your lips in a sweet kiss, knowing that you were each other's future.
