Earlier today, on my way to university, I saw that the seagull experience was not exclusive to humans. There was a few groups of pigeons trying to find something to eat, when a seagull swooped in towards the biggest group. It did it twice and flew away, showing that those birds are indeed little shits.

For me, I am driven by two main philosophies: know more today about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of others. You’d be surprised how far that gets you.

Pigeons??? The totally domesticated infamously trainable birds that are actual war heroes and can fly missiles?? And spot cancer and learn tricks and fly home and read food labels for allergens?? Harder to control than OWLS??? Sorry, pigeons are a huge interest of mine and reality hits HARD when I meet someone that just.. doesn't know a thing about them! Which is not your fault, society views them as pests and most people think that's all there is to know about them :(

The good news is, you have untapped wells of pigeon knowledge waiting for you if I can encourage you to go have some fun learning about these beautiful birds!!

i think we can relate to them a lot. there is no small number of people that will truly hate us just for existing, but remember that pigeons and doves are really the same thing and one is not less worthy of respect than the other. and there are also still people out there that love you more than anything! youll find your flock eventually
