Spoiler-free short Book Review of The Burning Maze

Just finished reading this wonderful book.

From beginning to the ending, it was amazing

The plot is fast paced.

This book, just like any other Rick Riordan's books, is so much entertaining. (Like 60% of the time,you'll laugh.)

And the plot the settings/theme of the scene was mind-blowing

Brilliantly written. I love Rick Riordan even more now.

It's always fun to meet new characters who are quite unique.

And the villain Roman emperor, is totally a Weirdo and just as much cruel.

I liked how RR told the current problems that are being faced in the world ,through this book. Atleast now everyone should stop cutting/burning trees. And Love Nature!

And the other 40% of the time, you'll cry. I still can't believe why RR did that!

The ending was great. It was impossible to put my book down. (to wipe tears )

Excited for the next book.

So,if you still haven't read it, you should definitely read it. It's worth it.

I rate it 5/5. (Ah yes, I'm still sad and crying)

Aubrey’s a big fan of inflatable costumes, The T-Rex ones, the alien abduction one, if it’s inflatable she’ll love it.

Wisteria likes to go as the classics, bc it’s a human holiday so she doesn’t really ever think about it till it’s time and those costumes are in abundance.

As well as she likes Halloween bc she can walk outside of camp without having to cover her legs and people think she’s being creative by mixing two monsters together or just complimenting her "work’ on the goat legs. Sometimes she won’t even wear a costume outside Camp, it’s freeing for her ✨💥💥💥

And Izabell is all about scary, so whatever threatening costume she can’t make. She not a big fan of Halloween she just like the rush of dressing powerful

A while ago I wanted to make an animatic of the first chapter of The Lost Hero because it's my favorite book of the series. I got all the thumbnails for it done and even the opening shot but while working on it I released three things.

One, This was going to take a long time, which I don’t mind but then the other points started flooding in.

2, There are a lot of problems with the first chapter of the series, many of which I didn't want to be responsible for fixing because that's a lot of pressure lol.

And 3, every second im working in this is time I could be working on my own ocs and stories so I decided to drop it.

It was still a fun thing for me to do, I’m happy I tried, and ive been able to do more impressive stuff since this. But since im not gonna finish I thought I should post it for funsies :))

As said before this was an opening shot, composed of fuzzy memories from Jason as they are slowly being erased from his mind before waking up on the bus. There are some fun easter eggs in the background if you'd like to find them.

The last slide is supposed to say “Chapter 1, Jason” in Greek. I think the video cuts out before it finished and im not sure why, also I double-checked to see if that was written correctly and im 99% sure it is but I apologize if it is incorrect.

I could fix Octavian but whatevers wrong with him is way funnier

I’m actually so psyched for Christmas this year it’s unreal.

So, to make sure it doesn't sneak up on me and pass me by I decided to celebrate a little early and make tree ornaments with my pjo ocs. ヽ( ´￢`)ﾉ

Aubrey as an elf, Wisteria as a reindeer and Izabell as krampus lol.

The wreath was a pain to do but I think it came out nice in the end, either way I’m happy with it :))

Now I just gotta get through finals (╥︣﹏᷅╥᷅) ;w;

This started a couple of weeks back when I got the random urge to draw ponies again.

I was just gonna draw Percy and Nico and be done with it but then I kinda got a little carried away ^^

Percy is a pegasus because pegasus was the child of Poseidon and Medusa, so, idk it seemed fitting

Nico is a unicorn so he can have shadow based magic

Annabeth is earth because she didn’t get any cool powers from her mom except being a nerd

Leo can create fire and is fire resistant so while I could’ve made him a unicorn with fire magic I just thought Dragon was better. I made him a wingless dragon with Festus’s metal wings, so he can still repair them when they get damaged on the journey

Piper is a unicorn for her charm speak,

Jason is a pegasus bc his dad is the god of the sky sooo,,,,, And no I didn’t forget Jasons cutie mark, dudes Blank flank Grace, because that’s what being a child soldier will do to you ʕ•̫͡•ʔ

Speaking of child soldiers, it thought it would be cool if in New Rome you have the option of getting the SPQR tattoo branded instead of waiting for your cutie mark, if you come later (like Renya) they’ll just add it at the bottom. If not you can trade out your special talent for loyalty to New Rome (like what octavian did)

I didn’t wanna give Hazel gems for her cutie mark because they were kinda a curse for her, so I went with something she enjoyed doing, art and kept the gold to show her heritage as a Pluto kid <3

Franks arrow was a play of the driftwood he has and the arrow was gonna be on fire but the fire didn’t look as nice so I scraped it (which is ironic that I made it driftwood because that’s a curse for frank and I just said I wouldn’t give gems to hazel for the same reason 💀✋oops )

Oh and I wasn’t gonna add clarisse but I thought of her as a griffin and it seemed like too much fun not to do

This was honestly a good exercise in character design and was more fun than I thought it was gonna be

Anyway! This is my first time actually using ink for Inktober :D

Up until this point I’ve only ever done digital but I always wanted to try ink and I was finally able to get my grubby little hands on some in time >:3

I’m also killing two birds with one stone as this is also an entry for @jasonandhisbrick contest, congrats on the milestone~ 🎉

When I was telling my brother about HoO he said Octavian reminded him a lot of Dwight Schrute. We had a lot of fun with the idea so I drew some of our favorites :) ♡ ʕ•̫͡•ʔ

That part where Leo, Jason and Piper were all tired and flying north reminded me of this scene from avatar and with heavy art block who was I to say no to the idea
