Hi, I know I haven't been active on my socials much, but it's been very hard for recently.
This post is a GoFundMe for my family in Palestine.
I am a Palestinian who refuged in 2015 after the 2014 massacre at the age of 5.
I haven't seen them ever since 2015. Only contact was through calls and messages, which is now nearly impossible due to the war.
Yes, it's still going right now. It's not recent at all. It's since 1948, nothing new. Living in Gaza was like an open jailhouse due to the occupation, and I am speaking from experience and memories.
2014 was no small conflict. It was an attack by the Israeli against innocent Palestinians. I could go on about my near death experiences, but this post is about my family now.
Knowing that this war is 10 times worse gives me on and on nightmare. I can't believe how inhumane we humans can get.
We are trying to get them out, but it isn't an easy route. It's highly expensive, especially for a big family. Some of my family have (heart) diseases, and medical care isn't approachable anymore. Some of my aunts became widows and now have to take care of their children on their own.
Donating and sharing this would help them a lot.
Houses are ruined, mothers become widows, children become orphans... This needs to stop.

If anyone can help, I have to start paying rent and cover my own food costs (which Iโve already done for two years) from Tuesday if Iโm to stay in my parents house. I turn nineteen this year and my parents made me drop out of school so I donโt have any qualifications and Iโve never been accepted in jobs.
Someone very kindly gave me money earlier in the week towards cat food and Iโm so happy to say I have enough food to feed him until about Saturday (3rd of June) but help towards that would be amazing too, his cat food costs 13ยฃ for dry food and 4.50ยฃ for wet food. We have some dry food left for him but he eats Nood which is a really good one for his stomach (he suffers with IBD and his medical bills get pretty expensive (up to 150ยฃ a month for checkups and medicine) but my mum currently covers those but Iโm not sure if sheโll stop doing that.
Literally anything will help me at this moment, standard cost of food a week is about 20-30ยฃ for me and rent is about 60ยฃ a week (I know itโs 260ยฃ a month for me to stay at home because that cost also goes towards electric and gas.)
