dni: PROSHIPPERS AND ALL THE OTHER USELESS TERMS THAT ALL MEAN THE SAME THINg I HATE YOU ALL GO DIE IF I SEE U ON MY PAGE ILL DOX YOU I HATE YOU!!!!!!!!!....also nazis i guess
toxic yaoi is TOXIC. doomed yuri is DOOMED. u can NOT like toxic / doomed yuri and yaoi and be antiship!!!!!!!
reminder u don't need an excuse or explanation to ship nasty ships!! ^_^ trauma / coping or not, its always ok because it's fiction and you owe noone anything!
Hey @reichtan look at this!
The first physical Pattie Nijiniku drawing.
Pattie :3
OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! FIRST PATTIE FANART!!!! thanks shes so cute… TwT *cries of happiness)4
Pattie looks so much more cuter than the shit show antina is :-)
THANKS!! ^_^ (tbh annita doesnt even give “anti proship” vibes from her design, she just looks like a random superhero-ish character or something XD)
i made pattie in shoujo city:D
AHHH ITS SO CUTE!!! ^_^
but also, her last name is “Nijiniku” not “Ninjuku”… XD (she is called Nijiniku (虹肉 in japanese) because it means “rainbow meat” like the proship emoji combo 🌈🍖 :3)
anyways guys heres the mascot for all proshippers i made. meet Pattie!! :3
I would explain this but honestly? The call comes from inside the house…
I hate when people bring children up in shipcourse.
"it can make them think this is okay!!!!" omg who caressssssss i'm not their nanny and a kid shouldn't be on tumblr/twitter (X)/AO3/whatever anyway
I feel like the term "grooming" has lost its meaning because of antis who overuse it.
antis when proshippers show basic respect: they’re clearly grooming you!!
Also isn't the average book with vampires/werewolves full of incest and rape??
saw a tiktok earlier of someone saying "I miss when darkfic mean werewolves and vampires, not incest or rape" and i just. dark fiction has always been both at once, the meaning didn't just suddenly change or get "worse". Vampires, werewolves, enemies to lovers, etc etc, are still problematic tropes, just in different ways. It really goes to show that these people only care about what they like, and if they are uncomfortable, then they make it everyone else's issue
Are we DEADASS 🥀💔💔💔
I can't do this anymore. Antis are not real, shipcourse is not real. This is all a fever dream.
Me when the slideshow about toxic and dark themes has... *gulps and looks around nerviously* t-toxic and dark themes 😖😖😖
Whenever I read the word 'Prolific' I think it has something to do with Pro vs Anti stuff and I sit there wondering what the hell a 'Lific' is before realizing prolific is a word in the hand held dictionary.
Be honest, chat, how cooked am I? 😔
I am gonna be so fr fr, idk was Radqueer is. I like posts that sometimes have the hashtag in them and then I like posts that have anti Radqueer and I'm watching as I'm getting flooded with posts about both while having zero clue what anyone is talking about.
I am mildly afraid to ask.
Yippee guys, I'm currently making an indie show about those OCs I mentioned once a really long time ago, not the heros the other ones.
:D
Will I share it?
Not directly.
I tried following someone only to discover they're already following me ;^;
At this point, I accept that I will never get the chance to follow someone first BECAUSE THIS KEEPS HAPPENING IN THIS COMMUNITY AND I'M SO HONORED THAT EVERYONE I LIKE APPARENTLY LIKES ME ALREADY
You know what? I find it comforting, actually, that most people who say 'I don't have time for fandom discourse, I need to pay my rent." Are inherently Proship.
Like, sure, a lot of them don't understand what Proship means, but a lot of them also say that to clown on the people (aka the antis) who take shipping way too far and talk about their legality.
I feel like this relates to something much bigger.
I feel like Proshippers need to realize that just because someone likes something doesn't mean they're proship. The only two things required to be a Proshipper are:
1. Anti-Censorship
2. Anti-Harassment
That's it. That's all you need.
Someone can like lolisho and not be proship because they'll harass people.
Someone can like non-con and not be proship because they think fanfic of underage characters shouldn't exist.
Someone can selfship and not be proship because they'll judge Proshippers who also self ship and gate keep.
Selfshipping started in the Proship community, yes. But everything that happened in fandom started with the Proship community because Proship used to be the fandom standard.
"proship DNI!!!"
What kind of proship? Yumeship? RPF? Selfship RPF? Darkship? Shipping in general?
-💢💻
hot take of my own. i do not believe selfshipping is proshipping because most folks in the community are ficto, therefore making selfshipping a byproduct of human sexuality and not something that can be claimed by an ideology such as proshipping. people have been, without a term for it itself, been selfshipping as early as the written language was made. unfortunately though last time i said that on my main account, i was harassed and told i wasn't a real proshipper for having a different opinion on this (because obviously, you cannot disagree with your own community. sarcasm.)
You hear this Fujoshis and Fudanshis? We have our proper mascot.
Fish.
Nuh uh, I was put on death row for having a sibling. Typing this on the electric chair rn /j
Sibling coded does not exist and it’s an excuse for harassment. If a creator wants their characters to be siblings, they’ll make them siblings.
Minor coded does not exist and it’s an excuse for ableism, body shaming, and even worse harassment. If a creator wants their character to be a minor, they’ll make them a minor.
Queer and neurodivergent coding exists as a direct result of censorship in the industry. There’s stigma around being queer and neurodivergent and companies don’t want to deal with backlash over “going woke”.
There is no stigma, at all, around characters being underage or siblings.
It’s one thing to just see two characters as siblings in a found family way, that isn’t my problem. My problem is when you make things up and use it to harass people.
Underage headcanons for characters that have no confirmed one is a very slippery slope and some of you rocket yourselves down the slope at mach 6.
Yes, fiction ≠ reality, but your ableism towards fictional characters can and will reflect on you as a person. Just like how being homophobic or transphobic to fictional characters will reflect on you.
Be honest guys, if I were to make a comic about a 14 year old super hero with a horribly shitty home life and a horribly old villain man who possibly fall in love, would y'all read it.
Guys let's spread around content creators who follow Proship ideologies so we can have a positive outlet and find more creators that won't randomly make us pull out our hair :D
I'll start with two:
ColeyDoesThings - Her whole channel is talking about fanfiction and AO3. She's very open about the fact she's ship and let ship and antis complain a LOT about the fact she is. Supportive of Wincest and Mpreg although I can't remember if she personally likes them.
Manlybadasshero - He's said he won't stop playing The Coffin of Andy and Leyley even though people are upset about the incest. He doesn't agree with the harassment the creator has received and agrees that the worst thing a game can be is boring. (To see that just watch his TCOAAL playthrough, he says it much better himself!)
Fandom has become so unfun nowadays. Just interacting with the media in general, honestly. I miss when I could watch someone make a negative review on something and hear actual reasons why it wasn't enjoyable (but still okay for other people to like it) rather than "This show is dealing with dark topics in a way I dislike."
I miss when it was actually ship whatever you want. I miss when people would ship whatever the heck they wanted regardless of canon. I miss when the most popular ship wasn't the canon ship. I miss when people could actually have fun.
Now it just feels like constantly having to avoid people because of the threat of actual harm because they weren't able to handle what they watched.
"I shouldn't watch Yan-Sim lore videos," I say to myself. "I shouldn't watch them. I shouldn't even watch a playthrough of them."
"But why?" I find myself asking myself. "But why not? I have the brain DLC that allows me to separate art from artist."
Foolish I was, because the bad creator wasn't the problem. It was the bad writing, styled just in the right way to get my money brain thinking and wishing for something better. I am given a curse, I am weak for family generation curse stories. If I watch a Yan-Sim video... I'll want to rewrite it.
And I don't have time for that shit.
Maybe I should download Red note because it's looking like a whole bunch of BASED
Anti’s discovering that pro-shipping is the normal everywhere else besides america will never fail to make me laugh. Because genuinely what did they expect?
Western fans need to start accepting reality, every pairing is allowed in other places. English fandom spaces are the worse and most draining places to be in when it comes to shipping however everywhere else everyone is pretty much following “don’t like, don’t read”, “scroll and ignore”, and “block and move on”.
At the end of the it’s just fiction and it doesn’t harm anyone. Fans can enjoy the parings they like without any bullshit anti shipping discourse. At the end of the day you choose the media you consume, you choose what decided to interact in and what you don’t.
You know what I've realized? Antis are pulling the same schtick conservatives will pull when they see a gay person on TV!
'If you watched this gay person on screen, you might become gay!'
"If you shipped these Brothers , you might normalize it and fuck your brother!"
Here's my first ever Crack/Crossover ship. It's Raggedy Andy from Raggedy Anne and Raggedy Andy and Huxley from Don't Toy With Me.
Why? I don't know. They're both dolls of some sort. And they just seems sweet. Fanart coming whenever I feels like it.
Just went on a MASSIVE block purge in the anti ship tag and, honestly? I had to scroll quite a bit to find anti shippers.
Most of it was my fellow Proshipers and some people constantly begging to do a survey. Maybe being an anti IS really small. At least on Tumblr.
On the Off Chance I were to host a mini event similar to Art Fight and Creative Clash where you share your OCs and both draw for others and get art drawn for you, but hosted on sat Tumblr or Discord, how likely would you personally be willing to join that?
As of now, I'm not entirely sure how I'd make it work, my base plan is hosting it on Tumblr and having two tags. One for looking for characters and one for submitting the attacks in question. But that could lead to some things getting a little difficult, especially with trying to get characters noticed and trying to count the totals for art points.
So you know, planning is underway for this project, but before I plan, I'd like to know if I'd be worth it
