Drew my new profile picture on Procreate. Still can’t figure out digital art, but I’d say I did pretty good. Couldn’t make the colored version of the eyes look good, but this looks alright.

Prismacolor pencils, Strathmore Toned Gray paper. 2 hours.
First non-sketch and first time using colored pencils since I was a kid. If I were to redo this I would try a different sketchbook, but I did learn a lot. For my first big piece though I am satisfied but not quite happy.
I had a lot more planned for this piece but I still have a lot to learn before I am able to execute them. This was supposed to be my gargoyle-esque avatar/sona sitting on the 'ledge' of a glass stained window with fog rolling in. I wanted the impression that the sun was striking down akin to lightning.
I will probably redo this piece many times as I grow.
I happily accept any constructive criticism, thoughts, or advice.

Their favorite villain is Vaati, so he's drawn in more of a TotK/BoTW style to accomodate!

Wanted to show the "magic" behind the profile photo. I wondered what it would be like to create a profile based on my childhood nickname (Bird) and it quickly got out of hand. I picked a reddish egret for the reference bird because our similarities - like how I squawk a lot, and walk like a broken marionette
