Ima be honest, America lost our ability to protest.
Literally Nazis are fucking EVERYWHERE and everybody's rights are being smoothly stripped away. First it was trans rights, and then (just like we fucking told yall) they started going for gay people. They tried going for black people and women, but gays were there to back them up, so now they're taking us out. And yet, all anybody wants to do is spread "peace".
"Oh, I know, I'll email my local governor to complain about the newest legislation. He'll listen for sure." NEWSFLASH, picket signs don't hurt the government. Boycotts, maybe, but sitting on Twitter ain't doing shit.
Every day, I see dozens of people all "If they come for MY rights, I'm responding with force." And some fucking photo of them with guns or what have you. And then the fucking time comes to follow up on your word, and suddenly everybody's too afraid of punishment to do anything.
Do yall think Stonewall was a fucking PEACE MARCH? There's a reason we give out celebratory clay bricks every pride.

Hey so I usually avoid gatekeeping, but I’m so fucking sick of this shit.
I’ve seen “punks” with back the blue patches, “goths” for trump, ect ect. You are not a fucking punk if you support the police, or if you vote red, or if you bully gay/trans people
You can’t be punk and apathetic, just “oh I’m not voting they both suck 🥺” you are a whiny ass liberal
You can’t be punk and drive a fucking Tesla, or buy mass quantities of SHEIN and Temu.
You’re also not a punk if you shit talk and refuse to listen to the music, but that’s definitely less important than the political stuff
Some people are posers, and deserve to be told that
whenever i show people i know my diy projects i usually end up getting some form of "i wish i could do that.", and each time im confused because, you can.
i cut up old pairs of jeans for fabric, use wall paint samples, hand sew with a sewing kit i found in the house and have slowly curated into a big tub of random supplies, and i stop the fabric from fraying with a random match box. as for artistic stuff, you can easily make stencils from paper!!
trust me, if you've ever seen some really cool diy shit and wanna try it out, you 100% can! a lot of diy stuff can easily be sourced from around your house or from others around you with unwanted items.
im currently going around to friends of mine seeing if i can debone their jackets (steal the zippers) and then return said deboned jackets, if youre broke or just dont wanna spend $50 on a white t shirt with cursive on it then make that shit!! trust me you just gotta get creative with what you use. :)
Daily reminder that we do not actually live in a dystopian movie put the apocalypse down and back away slowly. You know when your cleaning a room and you pull everything out of it's draws to sort through it and you're like "what the fuck have I done I'm never going to be able to tidy all of this" I think that's the stage we're at in the world. Thanks to social media we've pulled out all the messed up shit from the cupboards of the world, it was always there but now we can see it and we're going to have to sort it all out we made this mess and we can fix it. Falling to the floor sobbing will not clean a crusty room. A group of people working systematically (preferably with music in the background) will.
