LOOKS TO THE MOON So far, all the illustrations that I've posted here have been fairly old, but this one is very recent. I'm not usually one for fanart but Rain World is both an incredible and visually stunning game and it felt wrong to not give it any love, so I sincerely hope you enjoy.
This is a hallucinogenic plant. They used to call it a 'Wheel Flower'. It became the symbol for enlightenment as it momentarily enables a creature to let go of its carnal self, and to contact the selves of other planes - dreams, memories, imagined worlds. Very long ago, they would eat these and stare into the fire. (2023/09)

I started playing Rainworld
I don't know why, but I just love it. It's hard and I died a lot, and yet I still play it. There's something about it that makes me want to keep on going. Finding a shelter just reminds me how happy and relieve I was finding a bonfire in Dark Souls 1.
I've been dealing with anxiety recently, and Rainworld helps me take a break. So here's a few sketches I did :>

First three creatures of my Starlight Express x Rainworld au! They are the main scugs of the story, each having their own little plot line of how they got to Controls domain (control is going to be an iterator)

The colors are so bright and light is so warm - it's making your art so cosy and sweet))))
And I love how you draw these dynamic poses for slugpups!
Maybe Gourmand limbs should be a bit thicker (because he is a really chubby boy), but overall it's comes out just great!

Web is pretty unsocialised and naughty slugpup. Before joining the colony she lives with her parents in the different region. But one day, after gon for searching food, they just disappeared forever. This led to the fact that Web had to grow up very early and learn how to survive on her own. So even after being taken into the colony, she retained her independence nature. She gets very annoyed when other scugs treat her like a small defenceless baby.
Despite the fact that her parents most likely was killed, Web is still sure that they deliberately abandoned her. Therefore, it is difficult for her to start trusting others again and become friends with other scugs in colony. But at the same time Web understands, that survive alone will be very difficult for her, so she decided to stay in the colony, helping others in any way she can.
Even as a slugpup Web doing good defending herself. She’s not poisonous, but she has a thick cap on a head, working like a big helmet, so for her it’s a decent protection. Web also thinks that her spears throw ability is near to the highest level (but in fact she greatly overestimates herself), and that’s why she often sneaks out of the camp for hunting (but almost always gets caught by guards and comes back very upset)
