ok, so I started reading "Wolfsong", I'm in the middle of "Ravensong", and it is nice, I'm enjoying it so far.
but I can't be the only one that was shocked when the book tells you that Joe would be Ox's romantic partner. Like, I figured it out with Ox, when he found out, I found out.
Since they met when Joe was 10, I read the entire book without thinking of them as anything but a beautiful friendship, I know 5 years isn't that much of an age gap, BUT IT IS WHEN HE'S 15 AND YOU'RE 20.
I'm not saying they're problematic or anything because they never really got toguether before both of them where in their majority. I'm saying that I never got to think of them as romantic, until I was over 50% of the book.
It was unexpected, and I want to know if it was a common sense or I'm the only one freaking out about this.
Someone to their friend: Hey Mate, how's it going?
ACOTAR, wolfsong fangirls: Ooooooh, Did he just call her/him mate? *giggles*
