My Favorite Reunion of 2023
I decided to splice footage of my favorite DWTS pairing Amy Purdy and Derek Hough with the watercolor it inspired; Amy was paying him a visit to Derek during his Symphony of Dance tour in October of 2023.
After seeing I knew it would make a perfect watercolor painting and wanted to see how the two matched up togather; I again decided to leave logo off since I didn't change much other then adding my Watercolor and useing some different music.

Drawn on silk : flowers alambic distillator on Bourbon Island (Reunion Isle). Mainly used for geranium flowers ! (Indian Ocean)
Les plus grands parfumeurs faisaient le voyage à La Réunion pour traquer la meilleure huile essentielle de géranium au monde : le géranium rosat. Les parfumeries de Grasse ne juraient que par la production réunionnaise, considérée d’une qualité exceptionnelle. A cette époque, le géranium rosat, originaire d’Afrique du Sud, constituait l’une des grandes richesses de l’île.
L'île de la Réunion est un département français de l'océan Indien. Elle est réputée pour son intérieur volcanique recouvert de forêt tropicale, ses récifs de corail et ses plages. Son site le plus emblématique est le piton de la Fournaise, un volcan actif qui peut être gravi et s'élève à 2 632 m d'altitude. Le piton des Neiges, un immense volcan éteint, et les 3 caldeiras de la Réunion (amphithéâtres naturels formés par des volcans qui se sont effondrés) sont également des spots d'escalade.

I don’t draw stuff from my Blood Born AU much but I couldn’t stop picturing this damn reunion scene in my head, and I reeeeeeally wanted to draw their expressions. However shitty it ended up. So here’s a tease for… ah…a chapter that will come at some point in the future i guess? I’m in the midst of writing it now, but it will be a while before it actually comes out, so go ham.
